Abstract

Abstract

Technology is very important in today's life, especially in the health system. Many medical equipment has been discovered that has a digital system, the aim of which is to make the work of doctors and nurses easier in treating patients. The world is currently faced with the problem of viruses that attack human health. The preventive solution that can be done as early as possible is to wear a mask, keep your distance, and maintain your health and wash your hands frequently. This is done so that bacteria and viruses are not transmitted from one person to another. Communication using WhatsApp is still not supported video conferencing for a participant capacity of up to hundreds of people, therefore we provide socialization on the use of video conferencing via internet-based applications. Thus, the Battuta University service team felt the need to conduct outreach in using more interactive applications to support long-distance communication for Hasanuddin Elementary School teachers. The results of community service achieved are that Hasanuddin Elementary School teachers are able to apply all applications that support holding open and closed meetings given the distance between teachers. It is hoped that the results of this counseling can support communication activities that are not limited in number or regional conditions.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the extent to which the use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) can improve network security at SMK IT Insan Kreatif Tj.Morawa. The research method used was an experimental quantitative method with descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out through direct experiments using the Wireshark application to capture network data packets in two scenarios, namely before and after the implementation of VPN. The sniffing data was analyzed to determine the type of protocol used and whether the data was encrypted or still clearly readable. The results showed that before using a VPN, important data such as login credentials on HTTP and FTP protocols could be read in plaintext, while DNS queries were also openly accessible. After using a VPN, all data was encrypted using the TLS/SSL protocol so that sensitive information was no longer visible in the Wireshark capture results. A comparison of the results of three tests showed that VPNs consistently provided better protection against data leaks

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the Prototyping method in the development process of a web-based student attendance application. The purpose of this study is to produce a system that is easy to use by teachers and students in recording attendance in real-time. By using the Prototyping method, developers can create a preliminary design of the application, receive input from users, and then refine the design until the system meets the requirements. The results of the study show that the Prototyping method can accelerate the development process and increase user satisfaction with the application created.

Abstract

Bus departure scheduling that is still carried out manually at PT Eldivo Tunas Arta often causes delays in information delivery and difficulties in managing operational schedules. This condition can affect the quality of service provided to customers and reduce the efficiency of company management. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based bus scheduling and ticket reservation system by applying the Round Robin algorithm. The Round Robin algorithm was chosen because it is capable of distributing departure schedules fairly and evenly among available bus fleets. The system development method used in this study is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which consists of several stages including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study show that the developed system can facilitate customers in accessing departure schedule information, booking bus tickets, and making digital payments more efficiently. In addition, from the management perspective, the system can reduce errors in schedule recording and improve operational efficiency. Therefore, the implementation of the Round Robin algorithm in the bus scheduling and ticket reservation system is proven to be effective in improving service quality and operational management of the company.

Abstract

Attendance is a crucial component of educational administration, closely related to teacher discipline and accountability. However, at SMP Bhakti Bangsa Sunggal, attendance is still conducted manually, often leading to delayed recapitulation, recording errors, and data manipulation. This research aims to develop an Android-based teacher attendance application utilizing the Kodular platform integrated with Google Sheets/Firebase as a digital solution that is efficient, transparent, and accurate. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, which consists of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The resulting application includes features such as user login, attendance through QR-Code scanning, automatic attendance recording, daily and monthly attendance reports, and exporting reports in Excel/PDF format. Black-box testing confirmed that all functions operated properly. Furthermore, trials involving 22 teachers and one administrative staff member showed “very good” responses, with scores of 93% for ease of use, 89% for speed, 91% for accuracy, and 92% for user satisfaction. Based on these findings, the Kodular- based attendance application is proven feasible and effective in replacing the manual system at SMP Bhakti Bangsa Sunggal. The application enhances administrative efficiency, improves data accuracy, and supports the school’s digital transformation in managing teacher attendance.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a website-based library information system at Battuta University to address existing operational challenges. Currently, the university library still relies on traditional, manual systems for its daily operations. This conventional approach significantly hampers the overall service processes, slows down administrative workflows, and reduces the efficiency of data management. With the rapid development of modern information technology, a website-based library system is expected to drastically increase operational efficiency and enhance user accessibility for both students and staff. The research method employed in this study involves a comprehensive data collection process through direct observations and structured interviews. Furthermore, the system development applies PHP and JavaScript programming languages to build a robust, user-friendly platform. The research results successfully demonstrate that this newly developed system is fully capable of automating the tedious processes of borrowing and returning books, while simultaneously increasing seamless access to online library collections. In conclusion, the implementation of a web-based library system at Battuta University is highly effective in improving library services, optimizing data accuracy, and maximizing institutional efficiency.
