The events of the Presidential Election in the United States in 2020 are similar to the political events of the 2019 Presidential Election in Indonesia, where Prabowo Subianto also claimed victory, accused of fraud, and also said he would sue the election results. If we look at the political events in 2019, the statement of Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno's victory claim as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for 2019-2024 on the same day after the election on April 17, 2019, has the potential to cause conflict. Moreover, coupled with the plan to create a “people power” movement which was interpreted as a way to win camp 02, the political situation in Indonesia was increasingly heated. So this research intends to see how the mass media, especially Tempo Magazine, which in 2019 framed issues related to Prabowo's victory claim. The object of this research is the news entitled "President of South Jakarta" which is published in the Main Report of Tempo Magazine, 22-28 April 2019 edition. This news was chosen because it is news that provides a unique description of the claim for victory in the 2019 Presidential Election voting results. used is the framing analysis model developed by Robert N. Entman. By using these analytical tools, it can be concluded that Tempo Magazine presents a problem definition that Prabowo is an actor who is the source of the problem because he feels superior in the 2019 Presidential Election. Tempo Magazine also presents moral values and solutions in which Prabowo's camp must accept the results of a quick count of a number of institutions survey conducted scientifically.

This research aims to see how the position of the Java Deli women in the structure of the patriarchal society in North Sumatra which was formed from the socio-cultural world of plantations. The method used is the literature method by triangulating sources through interviews. The results presented in this paper show that plantation life has positioned Deli Javanese women to be subordinated and marginalized so that they have an impact on stigmatizing their domestic and reproductive roles. Graduating is not only about taking compulsory education, but also fulfilling the qualifications of graduates' abilities which include attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This is in accordance with the provisions of the education system contained in Government Regulation 32 of 2013. The lack of understanding of graduate quality standards is due to minimal socialization carried out by the government and related institutions. Therefore, this community service is important in order to provide knowledge to the society, so that it can further increase its participation to help in realizing high-quality education. The implementation model is carried out through the partnership method, by involving the government of Pematang Johar Village in several stages, namely: 1) pretest; 2) socialization; and 3) posttest to measure the success rate of the program. The results show that there is an increase in knowledge for the society about the quality of graduates in accordance with national education standards and there is a better awareness that society participation is needed to help realize high-quality education.

This study focuses on intercultural interactions in the Rewang Tradition which is a tradition belonging to the Javanese Ethnic. The aim of this research is; (1) to find out what actions were taken while carrying out the Rewang tradition (2) to find out the response of the Simalungun Bataknese ethnic group to their interactions in the tradition. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study were observations and interviews. The data obtained were obtained from 6 informants, namely 3 ethnic Javanese and 3 ethnic Simalungun Bataknese. Data analysis in this study using a qualitative descriptive method begins by examining all available data from various sources, namely interviews with informants and observations that have been written down in field notes. The stages in the data analysis process are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or levers. The results obtained from this research are the actions taken in each series of events including pre rewang, namely holding counseling, asking for permission and asking for help regarding the event to be carried out (tonggo rojo). When rewang everyone involved does the task that has been mutually agreed upon. After rewang, the manufacture of marrow porridge is intended for people who are involved in rewang. inter-ethnic reciprocity regarding their involvement in every tradition they carry out is the hope of the Simalungun Bataknese and Javanese Ethnics.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan: 1)Untuk menganalisis pengaruh terpaan berita COVID-19 di televisi terhadap perubahan persepsi masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Labuhan.2)Untuk menganalisis pengaruh terpaan berita COVID-19 di televisi terhadap perubahan perilaku masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Labuhan.3)Untuk menganalisis pengaruh terpaan berita COVID-19 di televisi terhadap perubahan persepsi dan perubahan perilaku masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Labuhan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Uses & effect. Untuk melihat bagaimana Tayangan berita Covid-19 dapat merubah persepsi dan perilaku masyarakat di kecamatan Medan Labuhan. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 85.722 orang dengan jumlah sempel 100 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Dari hasil uji signifikansi terhadap variabel terpaan berita (X) terhadap variabel perubahan persepsi (Y1) dan variabel perubahan perilaku (Y2) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05, serta uji t dengan hasil variabel terpaan berita (X) dengan variabel perubahan persepsi (Y1) diperoleh thitung sebesar 24.704 > ttabel 1.984. uji t terhadap variabel terpaan berita (X) dengan perubahan perilaku (Y2) diperoleh thitung 19.450 > 1.984 maka Ha untuk Hipotesis ke tiga di terima yaitu terdapat pengaruh terpaan berita covid-19 di televisi terhadap perubahan persepsi dan perubahan perilaku di masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Labuhan.Kata Kunci:Komunikasi Massa, Televisi, Berita Covid-19.

The development of business in the field of tourism objects is currently very rapid, giving rise to competition to reach tourists between one tourist attraction and another. Rapid changes in the business environment have forced tourist attractions to continue to be active and creative in developing existing tourist sites and continuously making updates regarding strategies in marketing them. This study aims to determine "Marketing Communication Strategy for Sipirok Park And Farm Tourism Destinations through Instagram Digital Media in Increasing Visitor Interest". The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation using descriptive analysis techniques, namely describing the events studied. In this study, there were 5 resource persons, namely the manager of tourist attractions, employees of tourist attractions, and tourists. The research location is in Pasorminan Village, Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency. The results of this study are tourism managers in implementing marketing communication strategies in attracting tourists including three activities, including promotion activities through social media such as Instagram, and word of mouth. The second activity is a Place in the form of a comfortable, beautiful, and natural place. The third activity is Price in the form of very affordable entrance ticket prices.

This research investigates the periodic implementation of an Early Warning System (EWS) using the Table Top Exercise (TTX) method to assess its effectiveness in enhancing community preparedness for disasters. Specifically, it analyzes the utilization of the Early Warning System as a disaster communication medium through the Table Top Exercise method and identifies challenges faced within the Disaster Risk Reduction Forum in Gung Pinto Village, Kec. Namanteran District, Karo. The study focuses on the People-Centered Early Warning System and the incorporation of Local Wisdom in the Early Warning System. The research employs the Knowledge Construction Theory as its theoretical framework. Data is gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis, with qualitative analysis methods applied. The study concludes that the implementation of an Early Warning System (EWS) can significantly mitigate risks and safeguard communities against disaster impacts. Additionally, it highlights challenges such as limited information accessibility, resource constraints, and time limitations in the process.

This paper aims to demonstrate that Javanese culture is not uniform. According to several research findings, there are numerous cultural variances among Javanese people, who regard themselves as different from other Javanese. In the Deli Serdang Regency, the marriage ceremony analyzed in this study does not only see a rich parade of a Javanese Deli cultural tradition. On the other hand, the Javanese Deli's marriage ceremony procession in Deli Serdang depicts identity that is produced through a historical process tailored to their socio-cultural environment. In this study, the building of the Javanese Deli identity during the wedding ceremony is examined from a Bergerian perspective, in which the Javanese Deli identity is constantly transformed and shaped socially and culturally. When in Deli, the essence of Java Deli is significantly influenced by changing situations and conditions that continue to evolve. As a result of the externalization, objectification, and internalization processes, Java Deli's manufactured identity is situational.

Perguruan tinggi memiliki peran strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bebas dari pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual. Studi ini membahas pelaksanaan seminar nasional sebagai pendekatan multidimensional untuk mewujudkan kampus yang aman dan inklusif. Seminar ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran, memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan, serta memperkuat komitmen komunitas akademik terhadap pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual. Berdasarkan implementasi Permendikbudristek No. 30 Tahun 2021 dan analisis empiris berbagai kasus kekerasan di kampus, studi ini memberikan rekomendasi berbasis bukti untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan tinggi yang bebas kekerasan. Temuan menunjukkan pentingnya strategi kolaboratif, peningkatan infrastruktur seperti CCTV dan sistem pelaporan aman, serta kampanye edukasi untuk mengatasi hambatan struktural seperti victim-blaming dan stigma. Institusi didorong membentuk pusat studi responsif gender sebagai pemimpin upaya pencegahan. Selain itu, pemberdayaan mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan dan pengintegrasian keadilan gender ke dalam budaya akademik sangat penting. Langkah-langkah ini tidak hanya mencegah kekerasan seksual tetapi juga menciptakan ekosistem inklusif dan berkelanjutan bagi komunitas akademik.
