Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat yang beragam terjadi interaksi sosial dalam dimensi kehidupan sosial dan budaya. Interaksi masyarakat tersebut, memberikan gambaran kehidupan mereka dalam satu kampung yang hidup harmonis dan saling membantu satu dengan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasi makna dalam kehidupan sosial-budaya pada masyarakat multietnik di Desa Sea, Kecamatan Pineleng, Kabupaten Minahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif dan interpretatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan secara deskriptif-analitif melalui tahapan coding, editing, klasifikasi, dan komparasi terhadap realitas kehidupan sosial-budaya masyarakat di Desa Sea. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna kehidupan sosial-budaya pada masyarakat multietnik di Desa Sea, Kecamatan Pineleng, Kabupaten Minahasa terdiri atas: makna penguatan toleransi beragama, makna keterbukaan, makna persatuan, dan makna silaturahmi. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi pada penguatan toleransi dalam kehidupan sosial-budaya masyarakat yang multietnik.

Abstract

This article is a study related to religious moderation in minority Islamic villages. Moderation of religion in the Muslim-Christian community in Sea Village, Pineleng District is going very well in social interactions and activities. This study raises the issue of how the practice of religious moderation in socio-religious life in a minority Islamic village in Sea Village. The purpose of this study is to describe the practice of religious moderation in socio-religious life in a minority Islamic village in Sea Village. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that the practice of religious moderation in the socio-religious life of the Muslim community in Sea Village was applied in social activities, religious activities, and political activities and “village” leadership. The implication of this research is as an effort to maintain cohesiveness and increase religious moderation that has been implemented and maintain it continuously from generation to generation to become a miniature of religious moderation in North Sulawesi.

Abstract

The Research Council for Tawhid Sufism in the Likupang Dua Community was initiated in its development by receiving enthusiasm and support from members at the provincial, national, and even international levels. The Tauhid Tasawuf Study Council is an Islamic organizational institution that invites people to worship with complete devotion and good morals; the focus in discussing this journal article is the Method of Da'wah Study of the Tauhid Sufism Study Council to the Likupang Dua Community and the implications for the community around Likupang Dua. Using a qualitative descriptive approach method. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the da'wah method carried out by MPTT to the Likupang Dua community is by carrying out muzakarah Tauhid Sufism, remembrance and ratib siribe, reciting from door to door and fardiyah da'wah methods, then the polemic implications for the surrounding community who agree and some who still do not accept the da'wah method from MPTT because it was considered to have other interests still. Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membekali guru-guru di MIN 1 Minahasa dalam penulisan karya ilmiah bermuatan moderasi beragama dan pendidikan karakter dan untuk membekali guru-guru di MIN 1 Minahasa dalam menerapkan tahapan-tahapan dan sistematika dalam penulisan karya ilmiah bermuatan moderasi beragama dan pendidikan karakter. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab antara narasumber dan guru-guru MIN 1 Minahasa, Kecamatan Pineleng, Kabupaten Minahasa, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Tahap-tahap pelaksanaan pengabdian, yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah berwawasan moderasi beragama dan pendidikan karakter telah menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan peserta pelatihan mengenai isu-isu riset dan sistematika penulisan maupun sistematika penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Temuan kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan informasi bahwa guru-guru di MIN 1 Minahasa memerlukan tindak lanjut berupa pendampingan PTK dan pendampingan menulis artikel ilmiah.

Abstract

This research uses a cultural studies approach to describe the construction of openness in the context of Muhammadiyah education. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis through qualitative methods. The results show that openness in the Muhammadiyah educational environment involves accepting students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds and practicing open dialogue and cooperation among all relevant parties. Additionally, this openness also includes acceptance of new ideas and values, recognition of differing perspectives, and the implementation of inclusive policies. This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the development of openness in Muhammadiyah education from a cultural studies perspective and its impact in shaping an inclusive and responsive educational environment to cultural diversity.

Abstract

The Muna community wherever they go will bring their traditions with them. One of the traditions they have is the katoba ritual. This ritual is the obligation of parents to carry it out, especially for their children who have entered the age of puberty (7-11) years. Its implementation outside the Muna area will result in the dynamics of language use, especially the katoba ritual language which was originally Muna language shifted into three languages ​​in its delivery, namely Muna, Indonesian, and Arabic. This is because the katoba children who live overseas are no longer fluent in Muna. This research aims to describe the portray the wisdom of the Muna language and the inheritance of values ​​contained in the katoba ritual in the overseas Muna community in Kendari City. This research uses qualitative and ethnographic approaches. The research findings show that the use of the Muna language in the katoba ritual is very vital because contains language wisdom and values ​​are represented in the Muna language. Even though the katoba children in Kendari City no longer understand the Muna language, an imam took the initiative to use it in Muna/Arabic, and translate it into Indonesian. This is done so that the values ​​contained in it can be inherited properly. The values ​​contained in the katoba ritual in the overseas Muna community in Kendari City are: religious values, moral values, philosophical values, ethical values, and tolerance values.
