Abstract

Fiber-reinforced composites can be classified into two parts, namely short fiber composites and long fiber composites. Long fibers are stronger than short fibers. Long fiber (continuous fiber) is more efficient in laying than short fiber but short fiber is easier to lay than long fiber. Fiber length affects the processability of the fiber composite. Judging from the theory, long fibers can continue the load and stress from the stress point to the other fiber. In this study, the volume of chopped glass fiber composite with random matrix direction was varied with respect to polyester resin. Making forged fiberglass composites with the press mold method to minimize the occurrence of air bubbles during the composite molding process. Testing the mechanical properties of the forged fiberglass composite using the three-point bending and tensile testing methods. The expected result is the variation of the volume fraction of random chopped glass fiber to polyester resin. The TKT to be achieved from this research is TKT level 3, which is an analytical study that supports the prediction of the performance of the effect of the volume fraction between glass fiber and resin on the mechanical properties of the tensile and bending strength of forged glass fiber composites

Abstract

This research aims to know the Curriculum Development Model of Full Day School System in State Junior High School All of Limboto Sub-districts, Gorontalo District, and to know the supporting and inhibiting factors of Curriculum Development of Full Day School System in State Junior High School All of Limboto Sub-districts, Gorontalo District. This research uses a qualitative approach which will be implemented in State Junior High School All of Limboto Sub-districts, Gorontalo District. Data collection techniques used are observation technique, interviews and documentation, with the data analysis technique used is an interactive model analysis. This research produces several points, namely: (1) Curriculum of Full Day School System implemented in the form of literacy activities which starts before teaching and learning activities and after teaching and learning activities (KBM) are scheduled with extracurricular activities, namely scouts, arts and sports according to what students are interested in. (2) supporting factors this Full Day School System more to put forward a few points namely can shape the students' character, Extracurricular activities are more effective, can help students doing homework rather than to playing outside, and can help students more discipline. Whereas, for the inhibiting factor of this system is sports and art facilities incomplete and literature books are still lacking

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know and analyze the teacher performance appraisal system in improving teacher performance in Limboto District;2) Knowing and analyzing the factors that determine the success of the teacher performance appraisal system in improving teacher performance in Limboto District. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were junior high school teachers in Limboto District, Gorontalo District. This research technique is observation, interview and documentation, namely primary data (data directly obtained from the source, through interviews) and secondary data (data obtained indirectly from the source, through documents or written notes). The data analysis technique used in this study was the interactive analysis model from Milles and Huberman. The data validity test includes credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The conclusion of this research is that the Teacher Performance Assessment System used will be very practical if it is supported by the internet network. As for schools that are not connected to the network, they can carry out input in areas that have a network. In addition, this application is very easy to use, the use process is light because there are not many features and is very simple to use, so that it can improve the performance of teachers in Limboto District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher competence on the quality of learning in SMP Negeri 5 Gorontalo. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data with data sourced from observations, questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study amounted to 30 teachers. The results of this study were hypothesis testing in order to be able to test the influence of teacher competence on the quality of learning to have a positive and significant effect on the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 5 Gorontalo. This is shown from the analysis of hypothesis testing data, resulting in a positive regression coefficient of 0.459 and a significant level of 0.459 > 0.05 so that it can be concluded that teacher competence has a positive effect on the quality of learning in SMP Negeri 5 Gorontalo.

Abstract

The study aimed to develop a strategy for increasing regional original income during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Boalemo Regency's Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Industry, and Trade (Diskumperindag). The descriptive research method is combined with a qualitative approach in this study. The sample size for this study was 43 individuals. The study's findings indicated that; (1) The Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry and Trade of Boalemo Regency possesses several strengths, including the potential for significant regional retributions in the form of Regional Original Income, regional retribution rates that support Regional Original Income (PAD), local government and community support for Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry and Trade, and the existence of a regional regulation that promotes regional original income. 2) Weaknesses that must be addressed include the absence of regional taxes, ineffective market management, and failure to attain the regional original income target. (3) Possibilities These include growing economic activity, government commitment and support, and the involvement and cooperation of multiple agencies in collecting Regional Original Revenue. 4) The threats include the following: Regional Original Income during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the installation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions during the Pandemic era I community awareness and support services, and community knowledge.
