Abstract

Pada kegiatan pembelajaran daring perlu memperhatikan unsur-unsur pembelajaran terbaru sebagai esensi dari pembelajaran inovatif. Pembelajaran inovatif merupakan suatu proses belajar mengajar yang merealisasikam unsur pembelajaran abad 21 salah satunya dengan problem based learning dan berliterasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini ialah memberikan pelatihan dan bimbingan dalam penyusunan rencana pembelajaran daring dengan problem based learning, HOTS, dan kemampuan literasi bagi guru-guru di wilayah Kabupaten Pangandaran baik guru SD, SMP, maupun SMA sederajat. Jumlah peserta sebanyak 100 guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan 3 tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan/identifikasi, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Bapak dan ibu guru dibantu secara langsung dalam penyusunan RPP memuat indikator pencapaian kompetensi (IPK), tujuan pembelajaran, pemilihan strategi/metode/pendekatan, langkah pembelajaran, media/sumber belajar, dan penilaian. Hal tersebut disesuaikan dengan karakteristik Problem Based Learning, HOTS, dan kemampuan literasi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, diharapkan instansi sekolah dapat mengimplementasikan strategi Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran daring sebagai tuntutan kompetensi Abad 21 dengan unsur peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan Higher order Thinking Skills (HOTS).

Abstract

Problems in learning mathematics that are often encountered include the inability of students to understand correctly the subject matter being taught resulting in the achievement of student learning outcomes being less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the analysis of the difficulties of class X SMK students in solving root form problems. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 13 students of class X at SMK 4 LPPM RI. The research instrument consisted of three root form test questions. The data collection technique used in this study was in the form of test results. The results of the study indicate that students' mastery of the material is above 70% so it can be said that students have no difficulty in solving problems. However, students still have difficulty understanding the concept of root form and errors in calculations. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that class X SMK students in solving root form problems in calculating the final settlement, while for indicators determining the concept of rationalizing root forms, it is above 70%.

Abstract

A learning models that demanding activity of student to understand the concept of learning situations and problems presented is the model Problem Solving. The purposes of the research is to analyze the problem solving ability of student junior high schoolin solving aljabar test,the ability that hoped might by students is solving math test ability. This research is classroom action research in two siklus. This  research the subjects in were students of class VII A  SMP Al-Mahmud Plus in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year, totaling 21 people. Data  instruments were the observation sheet and test questions. The instrument used consists of 5 question with each question consisting of 4 indicators of abilitiy.Data analysis of research is technique using Microsoft excel in the form of descriptive statistics. From data analysis of Research data is shows 66 % of the students are able to understand the problem in the instrument tes, 60% students can plan completion, 57% of students can  run  a completion plan  and  40 % students can check back.

Abstract

In solving mathematics, of course, it cannot be separated from errors, both conceptual errors, principle errors and operating errors. This study aims to describe students' errors in solving straight line equations based on Kastolan's level of error. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection tool in this study is a test question in the form of a description of 4 items of straight line equation material. The research data were then analyzed and described based on the Kastolan error rate. The subjects of this study were 16 students of class VIII SMP in one school in West Bandung Regency. The results of the analysis of student answers are that there are 40% student errors in conceptual errors, 56% student errors in principle errors, and 4% student errors in operating errors. The factors that became the student's error were (1) not understanding the meaning of the question and the use of the concept of variables; (2) Does not answer the question so that there is no solution; (3) not paying attention to the conditions in the application of the formula; (4) perform non-hierarchical/sequential settlements; and (5) errors in performing calculations.

Abstract

The result of the study show that student still have difficulties in understanding the algebraic operation materials, so students made mistakes in doing evaluation tests.  The Research aims to analyze VII grade students’ mistakes in solving algebraic operations according to Nolting’s Theory. The method used in this research is by using the descriptive qualitative method with the research subject VII grade students in MTs Al-Firdaus Cipatat. The data collection was carried out by giving four questions written test. Then, the datas obtained was processed using the Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the research that has been obtained from students’ answers, the students carried out the error in interpreting the questions, errors in writing the known and questioned components, the careless error when taking the tasks, errors on do not understand the concepts which were be required to answering the question, error on answering the question with no perfect, and the error on leaving the answer as blank.

Abstract

Kemandirian belajar mahasiswa menjadi salah satu sikap afektif utama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mathematical problem posing dan berpikir kreatif matematis. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran dengan model Project-Activity-Cooperative Learning-Exercise (PACE), sehingga mahasiswa mampu memecahkan masalah matematik dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan kemampuan mathematical problem posing dan berpikir kreatif matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model PACE dan pembelajaran langsung (PL) yang ditinjau dari tingkat kemandirian belajar. Metode penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan desain faktorial 3 x 3. Populasinya seluruh mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah persamaan diferensial Program Studi S-1 Pendidikan Matematika IKIP Siliwangi, sedangkan sampelnya sejumlah 123 mahasiswa dengan kelas eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran model PACE dan PACE dengan Geogebra (PACE-G), serta kelas kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran langsung (PL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan mathematical problem posing mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model PACE, PACE-G, dan PL; (2) Terdapat efek interaksi faktor model pembelajaran dan tingkat kemandirian belajar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mathematical problem posing mahasiswa; (3) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model PACE, PACE-G, dan PL; dan (4) Terdapat efek interaksi faktor model pembelajaran dan tingkat kemandirian belajar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis.

Abstract

This study intends to investigate and learn about the improvement of mastery of the concept of Relations and Functions in Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Bandung. The hypothesis of this research action is that via scientific approach, the mastery of the idea of Relation and Function of Grade VIII Students of SMP Negeri 28 Bandung may be improved. With a total of 32 students, this study was conducted on grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 28 Bandung in the 2020/2021 school year. The instrument utilized is a learning outcomes test that assesses students' mathematical concept skills. Initial tests (before action), cycle I and cycle II tests (after actions), and observation sheets for teachers and students are all examples of testing. Planning, action implementation, observation and assessment, and reflection are all part of this study approach. The data processing technique in this study is to find the average value by using Microsoft Excel. Cycle I's average test score was 73.86, up 18.21 points from the average beginning test result of 55.65. The average score of cycle II test results was 82.45, up 26.8 points from the average initial test result and 8.59 points higher than cycle I test results. The mastery of the idea of Relationships and Functions in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Bandung can be improved using a scientific method, according to work indicators.
