Abstract

Media digital membuka peluang bagi upaya peningkatan daya saing berbagai komoditas di tingkat global, termasuk produk kakao. Indonesia adalah negara produsen kakao terbesar ketiga di dunia. Meski demikian, daya saing produk ekspor kakao Indonesia masih rendah. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan sinergi dan kebijakan yang tepat untuk mendorong peningkatan daya saing global produk kakao, terutama dengan memanfaatkan media digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja peran yang dapat dimanfaatkan dari media digital dalam rangka meningkatkan daya saing global produk kakao. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media digital dapat menjadi alat analisis daya saing untuk optimalisasi keunggulan komparatif dan kompetitif produk kakao, optimalisasi pemasaran dan analisis pasar pada industri kakao dari hulu ke hilir, serta optimalisasi e-commerce untuk mencapai market exposure, menurunkan operating cost, melebarkan global reach, meningkatkan customer loyalty dan supply management industry kakao.

Abstract

Racism in United States causes tragedy that impact especially in political society in international relations. Donald Trump as US President been a racist to some African-American US political actor, include congress, senate, and also how he picked his executive. Trump makes his political society look racist itself because his visions, insists of Nationalism ; Nativism ; and Protectionism. Those visions gain a lot of pro and contra for uprising white supremacy in way to lead the US country. Begin from racist to his executive that only took one political actor for his cabinet and racist to an African-American senate named Ayanna Pressley. But, on the other side, when people in America make their choice for senate and house in US House of Representatives, they did not make hard time for African-American candidate for advancing to take their place to House of Representatives. There are speculations of how big the impact of Donald Trump racism to US political society. Even though it been a lot of discussed, racist still been an issue in US, especially in political society. To analyze and answer the issue for the problem, the author uses social constructivism and color-blindness to measure how impactful the racism is for the African-American US political actor. In applying the result of this research, the author uses a descriptive text of research. For the data collection methods of the research, the author uses discourse analysis and qualitative data analysis methods.

Abstract

Europe experienced an immigrant crisis in 2015 which made the European Union to respond to the immigrant crisis. Thisresearch analyzes the policy of the European Union on the 2015-2018 immigrant crisis in the theory of securitization. Thepurpose of this research is to find out how the analysis of the theory of securitization in the European Union's policy towardsimmigrants in 2015. This research uses a qualitative research method with the collection of data used is the Library Researchmethod. This research uses the theory of securitization and regionalism which is used to explain the position of the EuropeanUnion as a supranational body that regulates or has responsibility for its member countries. The result of this research is thatin the process of securitization it is seen that there are some right-wing figures from the member states of the European Unionwho strongly oppose the entry of Immigrants into European territory. In addition, there is the role of the media and socialorganizations that are anti-immigrant and have influenced the European Union in taking policies to deal with the immigrantcrisis. This proves that securitization has a strong influence in changing the point of view of an event. Abstract

United States-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership Agreement merupakan bentuk kerja sama kemitraan komprehensif antara Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia. Salah satu bidang kerja sama yang dilakukan adalah keamanan maritim. Kerja sama keamanan maritim dilakukan sejalan dengan adanya visi misi Indonesia sebagai Poros Maritim Dunia dan bentuk penjagaan di maritim dari berbagai ancaman yang ada. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh United States-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership Agreement terhadap kerja sama keamanan maritim Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan sumber data sekunder untuk mengetahui kronologi terbentuknya kemitraan komprehensif Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia dan pengaruhnya terhadap kerja sama keamanan maritim. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa United States-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership Agreement berpengaruh terhadap kerja sama keamanan maritim Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia berupa terjadi peningkatan penangkapan tindakan illegal fishing di perairan Indonesia dan kebijakan penenggelaman kapal bagi kapal-kapal yang melakukan tindakan ilegal.

Abstract

Technological advancements have brought teenagers closer to social media. However, massive exposure to social media without adequate digital intelligence, can lead to various problems, such as the rampant spread of hoaxes, hate speech, propaganda, and radicalized content. This has the potential to affect the way teenagers think and behave. This condition was experienced by teenagers in Karangwuni Village, Sukoharjo Regency, as partners of this activity. Based on the situation analysis, it was found that the low digital literacy among teenagers resulted in a lack of critical awareness in responding to information circulating on social media. This program aims to strengthen digital intelligence as a foundation for teenagers to be able to think creatively and critically in social media. The methods used was socialization, focus group discussions, and mentoring to improve participants' understanding and skills in filtering information, avoiding the negative impacts of social media, and optimizing digital media for self-development. The results showed participants' understanding increase about digital intelligence, social media ethics, and critical strategies in dealing with information in the digital world. In addition, the implementation of this understanding is reflected in changes in participants' attitudes and behaviors in utilizing social media more responsibly and productively. These findings indicate that strengthening digital intelligence can be a key factor in shaping a young generation that is not only adaptive to technological developments, but also able to use social media creatively and critically

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digital political polarization on social stability in urban communities following the 2024 General Elections. With the rise of digital platforms, political discourse has become increasingly fragmented, fostering polarized views among the electorate. This polarization has the potential to influence social stability, particularly in urban settings where diverse political opinions converge. By employing a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzes public sentiment through social media trends, surveys, and in-depth interviews. It explores how digital political polarization affects community interactions, public trust, and social cohesion. The findings suggest that while digital polarization can intensify political divides, it also presents opportunities for dialogue and collective problem-solving, depending on how urban communities manage digital engagement. The study highlights the need for effective media literacy and digital communication strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of polarization on social stability in post-election contexts.

Abstract

The research explains the impact of climate change which resulted in environmental migration from Bangladesh to India. This study aims to analyze the impact of climate change on environmental migration from Bangladesh to India. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection through literature studies with the concept of human security by UNDP and the theory of environmental migration by Graeme Hugo. The results of this study indicate that the impact of climate change which is massively occurring in Bangladesh raises "push" and "pull" factors which result in environmental migration from Bangladesh to India. However, there are obstacles in the form of the entry of Bangladeshi people into India illegally and the implementation of policies that have limited information. This research can be used as a reference for further research.

Abstract

Surakarta City has long been associated with religious radicalism, positioning it as a critical site for studying Islamic moderation in Indonesia. This study aims to explore how religious communities in Surakarta construct and negotiate a moderate Islamic identity through the use of symbols and narratives, in response to stigmatization as a center of extremism. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with nine religious leaders from various organizations, participatory observations, and analysis of religious documents and local media. Thematic coding and triangulation techniques were used to ensure analytical rigor and validity. The findings reveal that symbols such as traditional attire, inclusive religious rituals, and narratives rooted in local Islamic history are strategically mobilized to promote a peaceful and nationalist version of Islam. These symbolic strategies serve not only to legitimize the presence of moderate communities in public space but also to resist and counter radical stereotypes. The study demonstrates that Islamic moderation at the local level emerges through complex, deliberate cultural processes rather than passive adaptation. It contributes to the discourse on community-based religious moderation and provides empirical insights for culturally grounded deradicalization policies.

Abstract

The Jakarta Provincial Government has officially partnered with Berlin in developing a smart city through the Smart Change program, supported by the European Union (EU). This collaboration aims to strengthen Jakarta’s smart city initiative, which has been under development since 2014, to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a descriptive qualitative research method, this study comprehensively examined the Jakarta Smart City (JSC) program and its alignment with the SDGs. The findings unveiled that JSC has made progress in implementing the smart city initiative and contributing to SDG achievements. However, further optimization in regulatory implementation, funding mechanisms, and public participation were required to ensure more effective outcomes. Enhancing these elements would help Jakarta’s smart city initiative achieve its goals more effectively and substantially.
