Abstract

This research examined the violation of the principle of cooperative conversation with data sources from conversations among students in the course Deutsch für Tourismus with a learning model using the Rollenspiel teaching method. Besides aiming to describe and categorize forms of violation of the principle of cooperative conversation, this study also aimed to describe the types of conversational implicatures that arise from violations of the principle of cooperative conversation. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive elaboration using the theory of the principle of cooperative conversation by Grice and the theory of conversational implicatures by Yule. Based on the analysis found 25 utterances containing violations of the principle of cooperative conversation. Violations of the principle of cooperative conversation include violations of the maxim of quantity with 8 data, violations of the maxim of quality with 6 data, violations of the maxim of relevance with 8 data, and violations of the maxim of manner with 3 data. The conversations among students, it contains often more information than is needed and does not provide relevant contributions. Three types of conversational implicatures arise from the violation of the principle of cooperative conversation, namely: 5 types of general conversational implicatures, 2 types of scaled conversational implicatures and the dominant ones are the specific conversational implicatures with a total of 21 because the conversations among students occur often requires special knowledge in understanding the context.

Abstract

Official news relating to the state of Germany is published by the government of the Federal Republic of Germany in German, as in the news containing the German state's political issues posted on the Deutscher Bundestag's official website. Because the readers come from various countries including Indonesia and not all readers are proficient in understanding German texts, the use of Google Translate is an alternative solution to overcome these limitations. This study aimed to test the reliability of the GT translation machine based on Memsource's level of suitability. This study also analyzes and describes various forms of inaccuracies that appear in translating German-language political articles into Indonesian, so that GT users will pay more attention to matters related to the development of their usage performance. The data are eight articles on German political issues containing 338 sentences obtained from the official website of the state news website of Germany, namely the Deutscher Bundestag (https://www.bundestag.de). The results showed that the quality of GT translation is generally in the 2nd level of suitability category (85-95) which means that the translation results are almost the same as human translation but still need some editing from experts. It found that there are 237 lexico-semantic errors, and it dominates the types of errors found in the translation results. This implies that GT generally needs to improve in terms of determining the appropriate lexical properties to translate text from the Source Language into the Target Language, such as in choosing one word that best fits the meaning of the text from several available word translation options. The most common morpho-syntactic errors (75 errors) are errors in translating single morphemes that are translated with plural morphemes or vice versa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sintaksis kalimat kompleks dalam bahasa Indonesia dengan menyoroti struktur klausa, jenis hubungan antar klausa, serta pola sintaktis yang digunakan. Kalimat kompleks merupakan konstruksi sintaksis yang terdiri dari dua atau lebih klausa yang terhubung secara koordinatif, subordinatif, atau korelatif. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berasal dari berbagai teks tertulis, seperti artikel ilmiah, berita, dan karya sastra. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa dalam bahasa Indonesia, kalimat kompleks lebih sering menggunakan pola subordinatif dibandingkan koordinatif dan korelatif, terutama dalam teks akademik dan formal. Konjungsi seperti karena, sehingga, meskipun, dan walaupun kerap digunakan untuk menghubungkan klausa utama dengan klausa subordinatif. Selain itu, ditemukan variasi pola sintaksis yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor konteks, tujuan komunikasi, dan gaya penulisan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai kompleksitas struktur sintaksis dalam bahasa Indonesia serta dampaknya terhadap pemahaman dan penyusunan kalimat dalam komunikasi tertulis maupun lisan. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi penelitian selanjutnya dalam bidang linguistik, khususnya dalam kajian sintaksis dan pengajaran bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Diftong dalam bahasa Jerman memiliki peran penting dalam fonologi karena memengaruhi pelafalan dan pemahaman kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis diftong dalam bahasa Jerman berdasarkan stabilitas pengucapannya, yaitu diftong stabil (unveränderliche Diphthonge) dan diftong tidak stabil (veränderliche Diphthonge). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis fonetik berbasis observasi terhadap video YouTube yang membahas cara pelafalan kata dalam bahasa Jerman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa diftong stabil meliputi /aɪ/, /aʊ/, dan /ɔɪ/, yang selalu diucapkan dengan pola tetap. Sementara itu, diftong tidak stabil mencakup kombinasi vokal seperti ie, aa, ee, oo, ue, yang dapat berubah dalam pengucapan tergantung pada konteks fonetik dan dialek. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan mengenai variasi fonetik dalam bahasa Jerman, khususnya bagi pembelajar bahasa yang ingin meningkatkan akurasi pelafalan mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pemanfaatan media digital sebagai bagian dari inovasi pembelajaran melalui metode studi pustaka. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan ruang bagi pendidik dan peserta didik untuk mengembangkan proses belajar yang fleksibel, mandiri, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan siswa. Media digital menjadi elemen penting dalam mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang bersifat kontekstual, kolaboratif, dan berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menelaah berbagai sumber literatur seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, kebijakan pendidikan, dan laporan implementasi kurikulum di sekolah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media digital tidak hanya memperkaya strategi pembelajaran, tetapi juga memperkuat pencapaian profil pelajar Pancasila. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi bergantung pada kesiapan guru, infrastruktur teknologi, dan dukungan kebijakan sekolah. Dengan demikian, integrasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan media digital berpotensi menciptakan inovasi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan tantangan abad ke-21.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the process of making learning media using Blooket media for vocabulary learning and to describe the results of making learning media using Blooket for vocabulary learning. This research is a compilation study. This research uses the Richey and Klein model. There are three steps in this research, which are divided into three steps: (1) planning, (2) production, and (3) evaluation. The research results show that learning materials on the topic of family history were created using data collected from existing data sources during the research. Blooket's media about family history is packaged well, practical, interesting and effective so that students can easily understand the material and use it as a learning tool.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a video animation as a learning medium using Animaker on the topic “Professions and Jobs” for the listening subject at the A1 level. This study applies a descriptive-qualitative research method. The development process follows the ADDIE model, which consists of five phases: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The data in this study consist of vocabulary, simple sentences, and short dialogues designed in the form of video animations based on the topic “Professions and Jobs”. The thematic orientation is based on the textbook Netzwerk neu A1, however, all content, including dialogues and exercises, was independently developed by the author. The research was conducted in German language classes in two twelfth-grade classes, namely 12 MIPA 10 and 12 MIPA 8. The result of this study is a series of five video animations in MP4 format aimed at enhancing listening comprehension skills at the A1 level. The developed media were validated by a teacher of German as a foreign language (as a subject matter expert) and a media expert. The evaluations were 92.86 and 95 points respectively, categorized as “Very Good”, indicating that the media is considered suitable for use in school education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the alignment between the Merdeka Curriculum and the National Education Goals as stipulated in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied through document analysis techniques, focusing on official sources such as the Merdeka Curriculum framework, the Pancasila Student Profile, and the formulation of national education objectives. The findings indicate that, conceptually, the Merdeka Curriculum has successfully integrated the core values of national education, including fostering students’ faith, independence, creativity, and their role as responsible and democratic citizens. The curriculum emphasizes student-centered learning with contextual and adaptive approaches to meet diverse educational needs. However, the achievement of these objectives largely depends on the effectiveness of implementation, particularly in relation to teacher preparedness, educational infrastructure, and consistent policy support. This study concludes that the Merdeka Curriculum holds great potential to realize Indonesia’s national education goals, yet its success requires sustainable collaboration among all educational stakeholders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari informasi dan dampak dari kepemimpinan Menteri Pendidikan dalam mengubah kurikulum yang ada di sistem pendidikan Indonesia. Hal ini bertujuan agak khalayak mengerti dan memahami pengaruh-pengaruh apa yang diciptakan oleh perubahan kebijakan dari Menteri Pendidikan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu mengobservasi dan menacari informasi yang akurat terkait pengaruh kepemimpinan menteri pendidikan terhadap reformasi kurikulum di Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga mampu menunjukkan bagaimana sistem pendidikan dan kurikulum berjalan yang memberikan dampak yang besar bagi anak-anak bangsa Indonesia.
