Abstract

The study entitled The Use of Plants as Foodstuffs, Flavour Enhancers and Food coloring in Meukek District, South Aceh District, was conducted in August Sd. September 2019. This study aims to determine: (1) plant species used for food, flavour enhancers and colorants (2) plant parts used as food ingredients, flavourenhancers and food coloring (3) how to use plants for food, flavour enhancer and food coloring. This type ofresearchis a descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach.This researchwasconducted in the District of Meukek, South Aceh Regency. This research uses the RRA (Rapid Rular Appraisal) method. Data analyzed directly. Basedontheresultof the study there were 95 species of plants from 41 families (which are used for food for 65 species, aroma enhancer 30 species and coloring 10 species), there are several species that are used more than one utilization group. The parts/organs of plants that are widely used as food are fruit organs (42%) and those with little interest (1%). For flavor enhancers, the most widely used organs are leaves (11%), and those with few stems (1%), skin (1%). As a coloring agent, the most widely used plant organs are fruit (4%), and small rhizomes (1%). The use plant that are usedas food is by cooking or directly consumed. The use plant as a scent and coloring enhancer that is by mixing into food or cooking ingredients. The conclusions of this study are plants that have the potential as food ingredients, flavour enhancers and food coloring in Meukek District are quite abundant and their availability in nature.Keywords:Foodstuffs, Flavour enhancers, Food coloring, Meukek District.Penelitian yang berjudul Penggunaan Tumbuhan Sebagai Bahan Pangan, Penambah Aroma dan Pewarna di Kecamatan Meukek Kabupaten Aceh Selatan telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus Sd. September 2019.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Spesies tumbuhan yang digunakan untuk bahan pangan, penambah aroma dan pewarna (2) Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai bahan pangan, penambah aroma dan pewarna (3) cara pemanfaatan dari tumbuhan untuk bahan pangan, penambah aroma dan pewarna. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Meukek Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Dengan menggunakan metode RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal). Data dianalisis secara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 95 spesies tumbuhan dari 41 familia (yang digunakan untuk bahan pangan 65 spesies, penambah aroma 30 spesies dan pewarna 10 spesies) terdapat beberapa spesies yang dimanfaatkan lebih dari satu kelompok pemanfaatan. Bagian tumbuhanyang banyak digunakan sebagai bahan pangan yaitu organ buah (42 %) dan yang sedikit bunga (1%). Untuk penambah aroma, organ yang banyak digunakan adalah daun (11%), dan yang sedikit batang (1%), kulit (1%). Sebagai pewarna, organ tumbuhan yang banyak digunakan adalah buah (4%), dan sedikitrimpang (1%). Penggunaan tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai bahan pangan yaitu dengan cara dimasak atau di konsumsi secara langsung. Pengunaan tumbuhan sebagai penambah aroma dan pewarna yaitu dengan cara di campurkan kedalam bahan makanan atau masakan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah tumbuhan yang berpotensi  sebagai bahan pangan, penambah aroma dan pewarna di Kecamatan Meukek cukup melimpah dan ketersediaanya di alam.Kata kunci: Bahan Pangan, Penambah Aroma, Pewarna, Kecamatan Meukek.

Abstract

Ascolichen is group of lichen composed by ascomycetes (the mycobiont) and algae (the photobiont) species which play ecological and industrial roles. The campus area of Syiah Kuala University Gayo Lues is a part of the Gayo Highland which has specific environmental characteristics. The research aim was to determine the ascolichen species, the type of talus and the substrate characteristics. This study used a qualitative approach with research type was an exploratory survey. Data collection was carried out at 2 stations, namely Station I (campus area) and Station 2 (outside campus area). Data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there were 28 species of ascolichen found in the location which belong 3 classis, 6 orders, 15 families, and 25 genera. Moreover, the thallus types of lichen species were crustose (16 species), foliose (8 species), and fruticose (4 species). The types of lichen substrate were tree trunks (22 species), dead woods (9 species) and rocks (4 species). The acidity of the substrates ranges 4-6 (acidic).

Abstract

The study titled is using human reproduction system E-learning module to improve student's interest in optimizing the potential of multiple intelligence to increasing student interest in optimizing the potential of multiple intelligences in studying human reproductive system concept by using E learning module. This research was conducted on March 10 until March 25, 2015. The method used is experimental and descriptive with a sample size of 60 students consisting of 30 students class XI-IPA 2 and 30 students class XI-IPA 3. Data analysis used to know the difference of improvement of cognitive learning result is t test at significant level 0,05. Result of t test of student interest increase obtained t scor 16,3 ≥ t table (1,98). The conclusion of this research is the use of human reproduction system module through e learning can increase student interest in maximizing the potential of multiple intelligences.

Abstract

Etnobotani merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari tentang tumbuhan yang digunakan manusia untuk keperluan sehari-hari dan pola pemikiran masyarakat terhadap sumber daya nabati yang ada di sekitar tempat tinggalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui jenis, kategori konservasi dan upaya konservasi tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan upacara adat masyarakat di Kecamatan Blangkejeren Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian despriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan survei ekploratif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahawa terdapat 23 spesies tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan upacara adat. Kategori konservasi tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai bahan upacara adat adalah resiko rendah (75%). Masyarakat melakukan kegiatan penanaman tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai bahan upacara adat di perkarangan rumah dan kebun sebagai upaya konservasi

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul analisis kesesuaian tipe kecerdasan majemuk dengan gaya belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah evolusi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan persentase kesesuaian tipe kecerdasan majemuk dengan gaya belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah evolusi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 September sampai dengan 10 November 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel 50 mahasiswa yang mengikuti kelas evolusi. Data yang dieperoleh dari hasil tes tipe kecerdasan majemuk dan tes penentuan gaya belajar mahasiswa dihitung persentase tingkat kesesuaian kedua hal tersebut. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa 70 % mahasiswa memiliki tipe kecerdasan majemuk yang sama persih dengan gaya belajarnya, 22% mahasiswa yang memiliki tipe kecerdasan majemuk yang hampir sama persis dengan gaya belajarnya,  dan terdapat 8% mahasiswa yang tidak memiliki tipe kecerdasan majemuk yang sama dengan gaya belajarnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah secara umum terdapat kesesuian anatara tipe kecerdasan majemuk dengan gaya belajar yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran mata kuliah evolusi.

Abstract

Vegetation is a number of plant groups of several types that interact with each other in one place. Vegetation analysis is a way to study the structural arrangement of each type of plant. This research has been carried out from October to November 2020. The purpose of this study was to identify the composition of the vegetation in the White Sand Beach and Lhokseudu Coastal Coast, Aceh Besar District. The method in this study used a survey method with purposive sampling, namely the method used to determine the plot.. Data were analyzed quantitatively and descriptively. The results obtained 31 species of plants with 22 families consisting of 10 species of trees, 13 species of shrubs and 8 types of herbs. The species that has the highest NP value in tree habitus is Dyckia frigida Hook. (43.1%). In bush habitus, the species with the highest NP was Chromolaena odorata L. (26.8%), and in herbaceous habitus Lantana camara L. (36.4%). Keywords: Vegetation Analysis, Habitus, Beach.

Abstract

Inventory of postpartum care plants is a collection of types of plants used by the community in healing postpartum care. This study aims to find out the types, parts, and ways of processing plants used in postpartum care as well as conservation efforts made to plants that have the potential as postpartum care in Singkil District, Aceh Singkil Regency. The research was conducted in July until August 2020, and data collected using a qualitative descriptive method with structural observations and interviews. The data source taken was 50 respondents consisting of 10 physicians, 10 midwives, and 30 mothers who had given birth. Data analysis is done descriptively using a qualitative approach. The results of the study obtained 31 species of plants used for postpartum care, parts of plants used to consist of fruit, seeds, stems, flowers, leaves, tubers, and rhizomes, the processing was carried out by boiling and grinding.

Abstract

AbstractTyphoid fever or often known as typhus is an infectious disease that attacks the digestive system, namely the intestines, this disease is caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. Symptoms of typhoid fever or typhoid are in the form of fever for a week or more, this is usually followed by disturbances in the digestive tract. This study aims to determine the species of medicinal plants, plant organs used, processing methods and how to use them by the community to cure typhoid/typhoid fever in Tangse District, Pidie Regency. The research was conducted in October-November 2021. The method applied in this study was Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) by conducting observations and structured interviews. The parameters measured include the name of the species/scientific name of the plant, the organ of the plant used, the method of processing and the method of its use as a medicinal plant. Descriptive data analysis. The results showed that 11 species of medicinal plants were included in 9 Familia, these species were el root/pasak bumi, pomegranate, pear, meniran, gotu kola, cumin, carrot, white pumpkin, coconut, orange and leaves of the tree. The plant organs used are roots, leaves, fruit, seeds and tubers. There are various ways of processing medicinal plants, some are boiled, ground, crushed, grated, dredged and some are used directly without being processed first. Its use is done by eating, drinking or applied to parts of the body such as dressing. AbstrakDemam tifoid atau yang sering dikenal tipes merupakan penyakit yang menyerang sistem pencernaan yaitu usus, penyakit ini disebabkan oleh bakteri Salmonella typhi. Gejala penyakit demam tifoid atau tipes adalah berupa demam satu minggu atau lebih, hal ini biasanya diikuti dengan gangguan pada saluran pencernaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesies tumbuhan obat, organ tumbuhan yang digunakan, cara pengolahan dan cara penggunaannya oleh masyarakat untuk menyembuhkan demam tifoid/tipes di Kecamatan Tangse Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian telah dilangsungkan pada bulan Oktober-November 2021. Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) dengan cara melakukan observasi dan wawancara terstruktur. Parameter yang diukur mencakup nama spesies/ nama ilmiah tumbuhan, organ tanaman yang digunakan, cara pengolahan serta cara pegunaannya sebagai tumbuhan obat. Analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 11 spesies tumbuhan obat yang termasuk ke dalam 9 Familia, spesies tersebut yaitu akar el/pasak bumi, delima, pir, meniran, pegagan, jintan putih, wortel, labu putih, kelapa, jeruk dan daun bangun-bangun. Organ tanaman yang digunakan adalah akar, daun, buah, biji serta umbi. Cara pengolahan tumbuhan obat yang dilakukan bervariasi, ada yang direbus, digiling, ditumbuk, diparut, dikeruk dan ada yang langsung digunakan tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu. Penggunaannya dilakukan dengan dimakan, diminum atau diaplikasikan ke bagian tubuh seperti dibalur.

Abstract

 ABSTRAK            Penelitian tentang spesies yang digunakan sebagai penambah aroma, pewarna       dan pengawet alami di Kecamatan Ingin Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar telah dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan, bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan dan cara pengolahan tumbuhan yang digunakan untuk penambah aroma, pewarna, dan pengawet alami. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Ingin Jaya dari Bulan Oktober sampai dengan November 2021. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan survey. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal). Analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 90 spesies yang tumbuhan yang tergolong ke dalam 56 familia yang terdiri dari spesies penambah aroma sebanyak 44 spesies, pewarna (43 spesies), dan pengawet (20 spesies). Terdapat beberapa spesies yang sama dengan manfaat yang berbeda. Bagian/organ tumbuhan yang banyak digunakan sebagai penambah aroma adalah bagian daun (26 %), sebagai pewarna adalah buah (20%),  sedangkan sebagai pengawet adalah buah (9%). Cara pengolahan/penggunaan yang paling sering dilakukan oleh masyarakat adalah dengan cara dihaluskan (62,22%).Kata Kunci : Penambah Aroma, Pewarna, Pengawet, Ingin Jaya ABSTRACT            Research on species used as fragrance enhancers , dyes, and natural presertives in Ingin Jaya District of Aceh Besar has been conducted. The purpose of the study is to find out the type of plant, the parts of the plant used and way of processing the plant used for fragrance enhancers, dyes, and natural presertives.This research was conducted in Ingin Jaya District from October to November 2021.  This approach and type of research is qualitative ans survey. The results showed that there are 90 species of plants belonging to 56 families consisting of fragrance enhancers (44), dyes (43 species) and preservatives (20 species). There are several similar species with different use. The part of the plant that is widely used as a  fragrance enhancers is part leaf (26%). As a dye is fruit (20%), while as a preservative is fruit (9%). The most common way of processing by the community is by smoothing (62,22%).Keywords: Fragrance enhancers, dyes, natural presertives, Ingin Jaya
