Abstract

Abstract— Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) is defined as the percentage ratio of the number of open unemployment to the total labor force. In 2018, for 5 provinces in Sumatra, those are the provinces of Riau Islands, Aceh, Riau, North Sumatra and West Sumatra, the OUR value was relatively high and exceeded the  OUR value in Indonesia, which was 5.34 percent. This study aims to look at the significant factors that influence OUR in Sumatra in 2018 at the best model obtained with research data in the form of secondary data obtained from the BPS-Statistics and analyzed using the Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) method. The best model obtained is the result of a combination of BF= 28, MI= 2, MO= 4 with the Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) value of 0,09413 as the minimum GCV value and the factors that influence the OUR, those are the independent variables X1, X2, X4, X6, and X7 with R2adj of 81.4 percent and factors that did not affect the independent variable were the number of households (X3) and the average expenditure per capita a month for food (X5). Keywords— open unemployment rate,  MARS,  GCV.

Abstract

Abstract – Value at Risk (VaR) is the one of statistical measurement tools that measures the maximum expected loss from an investment on the certain confidence level and certain time period on normal market condition. One of the method to determine VaR value is Monte Carlo Simulation Method. The purpose of this paper is forming the optimal portfolio with VaR value. The type of reseaech is applied research using secondary data that is daily closing price stock LQ-45 about 6 months. The steps are determine the parameters, simulating the return value randomly, and calculate VaR value average. Based the result generated the optimal portfolio at the rate of return specified and by the smallest VaR value.Keywords – Portfolio, Value at Risk (VaR), Monte Carlo Simulation, stock

Abstract

Abstract — The problem that the transportation model wants to solve is the determination of the distribution of goods which will minimize the total cost of distribution. Perum Bulog of the West Sumatra Regional Division as the executor of the prosperous rice program for several regions spent quite large funds for distribution activities, one of which was distribution in Padang Pariaman Regency. A transportation method is needed to find the best solution of the transportation problem (transportation), which are NWCM and SSM. NWCM as an initial method serves to determine the initial distribution allocation which will make all resource capacity allocated to all destinations, while SSM is an optimization test. The results of the calculation of the cost of distribution with NWCM are IDR27,967,340. Continued  by an SSM of IDR 25,227,010. While the total real cost is, So that the calculation of the cost of distributing prosperous rice delivery using SSM is the optimum cost, the company can save transportation costs by IDR 3,335,130 or by 12%. Keywords — NWCM, SSM, Distribution fees.

Abstract

Abstract–Decreasing water of systim water supplier factory represents difference the distribution value with consumption value. This case is used as a benchmark to the efficiency of the distribution system by the development of system water supplier factory. This cases can cause disadvantages to the systim water supplier factory. Therefore in the next few years, this case needs to be forecasting  that the systim water supplier factory  has plans  and appropriate action in order to the minimaze it. This research is to obtain  a forecasting model and predict decreasing water of system water supplier factory Padang Panjang city in2015 until 2019. The forecasting method used is triple exponential smoothing of brown type. The parameter α is used 0.128 which gives the value of Mean Square Error (MSE), that the smallest is 8.0892145076 ×1010. Forecasting of decreasing water system water supplier factory from 2015 to 2019 ranged from  1402382,354m3to1757709,053m3 . Keywords – Water decrease, Forecasting, Exponential Smoothing Triple Brown Type, Mean Square Error (MSE).

Abstract

Abstract — One study in matrix theory is determinant. Matrix determinants are widely used in solving matrix problems, such as: determining eigenvalues, systems solutions of linear and inverse equations. In determining a determinant of a square matrix is usually not easy especially with a large order matrix. The concept of determinant that has been known is generally true for square matrices. In this research, it will be studied about its development, which is about the determinant of non-square matrix (rectangular matrix). This research is a theoretical research through library research on determinant theories and programming theories. The purpose of this research is to determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix using C ++ language. The method used is the analysis of theories relevant to the problem of calculating rectangular matrix determinants using the C ++ language. The results of the study are produced programs that can determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix. Keywords — determinant, matrix, radic method, programming.

Abstract

Abstract–Cryptographic algorithms multiprime RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman)  is one of the public key cryptographic algorithms that are widely used, because the algorithm is easily applied and security is also guaranteed. But on the other hand this algorithm has drawbacks, namely the process of decryption a takes a relatively long time because using modular exponentiation. To address this, it will do modifications to the process of decrypting RSA Cryptographic algorithms multiprime by finding a method that can cut the number of modular exponentiation operation is great modular exponentiation operation into several smaller ones. This modification is only focused on the process of decryption is done by leveraging the next reminder: chinese theorem can be solved using Garner's algorithm. Abstract

Abstract – Insurance company in carrying out its duties requires a fee. It causes the values of premiums paid by the policy participants increase. Premiums which involve additional costs are named gross premiums. Most of the premiums paid are a premium reserves which should be provided by the insurance company as a liability if there is a claim in the future. In this research, the value of the reserves was calculated with  retrospective method which is modified with Zillmer method for life term  insurance product case joint life, where two people just pay one insurance policy. In the calculation of Zillmer reserve, gross premiums used as the basis of calculation. Furthermore, interest rates also affect the value of  reserves and the value of premium that must be paid by the participants. Abstract

Abstract – Finding maximal clique is a problem to get a clique with the maximum number of points on a graph, where the selected points are the points that are connected to each other. Finding maximal clique in a graph would be easier if using an algorithm. One of algorithms that can be used to determine the maximal clique is clique algorithm. However, the clique algorithm still has a weakness that the process is a relatively long process because it has two procedures. Therefore, in this study a modification to this algorithm. An algorithm not only must be correct, but also must be efficient. The efficiency of an algorithm is measured from the execution time of the algorithm and the space of memory that is required to run it. After modification is done to clique algoritma, the time of complexity asymptotic algorithm gained is .

Abstract

Abstract–Tourism sector is one sector that can be developed so that can bring benefits to the surrounding area. The development of tourism has economic impact as expanding businesses and opportunities for employment. One of the attractions in West Sumatra is Air Manis Beach. The purpose of this research is to find out how the combination of attribute from the level of visitor preferences with Air Manis Beach. The type of research used is survey research. Population in this research was visitors Air Manis Beach and used sample as much 100 visitors. The sampling is accidental sampling method. Instrument in this research is questionnaire. Data analysis used is conjoint analysis. Research result from the most popular combination of visitors is beach, amiable and attractive, and mosque. Combinations that less liked by visitors are food and beverages, broadminded and ATV(All Terrain Vehicle).Keywords–Conjoint Analysis, Attributes, Preferences, Tourism.

Abstract

The Yellow virus is a virus that causes tomato plants to die. The insect vector Bemisia tabaci spreads this virus. The goal of this study is to identify the shape of a mathematical model of the influence of yellow virus on tomato plants via the insect Bemisia tabaci and the fungus Verticilliun lecanii, as well as to interpret the results of the mathematical model analysis. This is referred to as basic research. This study employs a descriptive method in which theories are analysed in relation to the topics to be discussed, and these theories are based on a literature review. Stability analysis is carried out using Routh-Hurwitz criteria. It indicates that the disease-free equilibrium point is asymptotically stable when Λt=μtN and the endemic equilibrium point is asymptotically stable for d1>e1, d2>e2 and a1>(a1)2+(a3)2a0)/(a3a2 ). The model simulation shows that if the efficacy of Verticillium lecanii is high, the population of infected tomato plants, as well as the population of Bemisia tabaci, will go extinct.
