Abstract

At this time, High school 12 Surabaya is one of the favorite High School in West Surabaya area with a level of accreditation with the value of accreditation is 87. With the value of accreditation 87, is still not considered to be maximum by the principal of High school 12 Surabaya because the value of accreditation is still not safe for value accreditation in High school, High school school 12 Surabaya determined to improve the value of academic performance to fit the 8 components of accreditation.To support the plan, needed a system that can give information about the condition of academic performance that occurs this time appropriate with the supporting component in the accreditation assessment. One alternative to solve this problem is build a system that can give the right information in the academic performance to fit 8 components of accreditation. The information displayed in the form of the dashboard, with a variety of formats such as graphs, gauges, charts and indicators which can allow a user to analyze important information

Abstract

STIKES Yayasan Rumah Sakit Dr. Soetomo Surabaya adalah perguruan tinggi swasta bidang kesehatan yang terletak di Jl. Karangmenjangan No. 12 Surabaya. Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi adalah masalah pembelajaran. Saat ini proses diskusi dalam kelas yang terjadi hanya menghasilkan 20%-25% mahasiswa yang aktif. Dosen dalam menyebarkan bahan ajar masih berjalan secara estafet, sehingga tidak ada dokumentasi. Pengukuran aktifan dosen hanya berdasarkan presensi sehingga hasil penilaian kinerja yang dilakukan tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.Beberapa permasalahan di atas dapat diselesaikan dengan suatu aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis web yang memiliki fungsi (1) forum komunikasi antara mahasiswa dan dosen, (2) hasil evaluasi proses belajar mengajar untuk mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa, (3) penyimpan materi dari dosen sebagai dokumentasi proses penyebaran bahan ajar, (4) laporan aktifitas dosen, serta (5) laporan nilai mahasiswa.Aplikasi yang dibuat mampu menangani permasalahan yang terjadi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Berdasarkan uji coba yang dilakukan aplikasi telah berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan yaitu menyimpan dan mendokumentasikan bahan ajar, menyatukan mahasiswa dan dosen melalui forum diskusi, menilai aktifitas mahasiswa dalam berkomentar di forum dan menjawab pertanyaan evaluasi, menghasilkan rekap laporan aktifitas dosen dalam belajar mengajar, menghasilkan laporan detail nilai forum dan evaluasi mahasiswa per pelajaran.Kata Kunci : Aplikasi, Pembelajaran, Aplikasi Pembelajaran

Abstract

Students competing in the world of work need soft skills. Soft skills can be improved through an organizational process. Dinamika University has a Culture and Character Building (Cutting) program to help students improve their soft skills. The program is widely available for thousands of students and is organized by UKM. Even though it has many programs, there are obstacles to be faced. Based on the survey results, 25 students didn’t participate in UKM and 32 students made the wrong choice of UKM. This is because students don’t know what their talent interests are. In knowing someone's talent interest there is a model called RIASEC. Then in determining the best alternative, there is an appropriate method to use, namely Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Based on the description, an application of the RIASEC and SAW methods is needed in the design of the best UKM field selection application. The results showed that the RIASEC and SAW methods were successfully applied to the best UKM field selection applications. A total of 97.3% of students recognized their talents from the RIASEC test results and 94.6% of students agreed that the UKMKU application was able to provide recommendations for the best selection of UKM.

Abstract

Currently Stikom Surabaya has a marketplace in the form of a web that can accommodate the work of students and lecturers, this web marketplace already has the main features needed to be able to carry out buying and selling transactions. This type of Surabaya Stikom marketplace is global, a marketplace that sells various types of products that have no connection with other products. Based on the explanation above, it can be seen that the problem that occurs is that a platform is needed that can expand the market share of the Marketplace Surabaya Stikom and make it easier for users to access the Marketplace Surabaya Stikom. Statistical data The global Operation System (OS) market share from 2009-2018 concluded that by the second quarter of 2018 as much as 88% of the global OS market share was dominated by Android while 11.9% was IOS and the remaining 0.1% was the other OS. So that the new platform developed for the Marketplace Surabaya Stikom will use the Android Operation System. Based on the existing problems, research will be conducted to design and build an application for the Android-based Marketplace Stikom Surabaya. The conclusion that can be drawn based on the results of the implementation and evaluation of making an Android-based Surabaya Marketplace Stikom application is to produce an application that can be used as a container for making sales and purchase transactions. This application can also help sellers and buyers to monitor and process ongoing transactions.

Abstract

PAMURBAYA area is expected to be a place or means of learning for the community and also as a mangrove conservation activity so that the community can know the importance of conserving mangrove forests for the city of Surabaya. There are several ways of the process of delivering information about the importance of mangroves for the city which is currently run by the manager of PAMURBAYA wiasata areas such as the existence of information space in the PAMURBAYA area, there is also a learning application "SMART Mangrove" based on Computer aided Instruction (CAI) using Interactive CD. However, from a number of ways the delivery of information is still less effective and efficient because the delivery of information is still not fully accessible to the people of Surabaya. Based on the above problems, a media was made that could provide information to the public in a broad and quickly accessible manner so that the public could know the importance of preserving mangroves. Therefore, an interactive mangrove website was created in the PAMURBAYA area. The results of this application are providing information about the importance of preserving mangroves, loading the types of flora and fauna that exist in the PAMURBAYA Surabaya area, providing information about activities and news in the PAMURBAYA Surabaya area, providing information about the damage that occurred in the PAMURBAYA Surabaya area, the public can also propose activities and references about mangroves as well as providing quizzes that can be played by users of this website.

Abstract

The student cooperative (Kopma) is a business entity managed by students that offers entrepreneurial experience to students. Kopma has many activities including purchasing, sales, consignation, maintenance scheduling, Business Profit Calculation (SHU). Problems faced by Kopma include the process of scheduling guarding, selling, purchasing, purchasing, and consignment transactions carried out manually so that when calculating the contribution of members often experience problems, because waiting for the recap of each district that resulted in the calculation of SHU for Rapat Anggota Tahunan (RAT) often experience recording errors reporting. Of the problems faced by Kopma, the solution provided is the design and analysis of Kopma information systems. Where the analysis and analysis of this information system produces a Kopma information system that can integrate reports from each Kopma operational activity. The results of the analysis and design of the Kopma information system as a reference for the implementation of the system so that the workmanship is in accordance with the analysis and design documents of the Kopma information system. The results of these documents are in accordance with user requirements based on the results of usability testing conducted to AKMS representatives where 5 testers can easily use the Kopma information system design prototype. the advice given for the next development of the Kopma information system prototype can be continued until the system implementation stage.

Abstract

One indicator of a good education system is the system used to measure the quality of its output. The method used by universities to obtain feedback from graduates is a tracer study. Tracer studies are aimed at graduates and graduate/company users. Dinamika University has been conducting a tracer study since 2016 using an online system. However, the system is only used for filling out graduate questionnaires, while filling out graduate user questionnaires is still using the conventional system. Also, in the online tracer study system, the list of questions made is still in a static form so that it cannot be changed at any time according to instructions from the Higher Education. Based on these problems, a graduate tracking system is needed that can be used to fill out questionnaires for graduates and graduate users, and can add and change questions as needed. The tracer study method is used as a reference in carrying out the graduate tracing process to obtain graduate data which allows Dinamika University to obtain information on the education and learning process and becomes the basis for curriculum planning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based learning application as a form of learning revolution. The form of learning revolution includes the provision of unlimited teaching materials, real time class organization, and is not limited by time or place. The implementation of this application is in the form of hybrid learning by using Google Apps for Education (GAfE), called Brilian. Steps being taken in the study are: (1) requirements analysis, (2) interface design, (3) construction performance, and (4) testing and implementation. The subjects of this study were students of class 2014 and course lecturers for the student of class 2014. After the system testing that was conducted in the second semester of 2014, the collected data suggest that out of 1153 students who used this application, 79% of them were comfortable in using it. As for the lecturers, the data was obtained from 70 lecturers, 82% of them stated that this application helped their teaching process. From the evaluation results, it requires universities to further improve the network infrastructure, and applications must be developed to be more user friendly, including access to mobile learning.

Abstract

The research aimed at examining the effect of instructional strategy (web-based STAD and text-based STAD) and achiever motivation toward student learning outcomes. The research implied quasi-experimental design with nonequivalen control group factorial version. The subjects were undergraduated students of Information Systems of academic year 2014/2015 at STIKOM Surabaya. Two groups were involved in the investigation with which amounts to 67 students, comprised of 34 students for the experimental class and 33 students for grade control. The collected data were statistically processed using analysis of variance techniques (ANOVA) two paths using a significance level of 0,05. The results of this research indicate that there is a difference in outcome study of Organization Behavior courses is significant between groups of students who studied with a web-based STAD type cooperative instrutional strategies and textual STAD type cooperative strategies. Based on the findings of this research, researchers suggest implementing STAD tipe cooperative of instructional strategy, with simultaneously (complementary) between the web-based and text-based in the form of blended learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to examine the effect of the instructional learning strategy (webbased STAD-type cooperative and text-based STAD-type cooperative learning strategies) and learning styles towards student learning achievement. This quasi-experimental study used a non-equivalent control group version of the factorial design. The subjects were the first-semester undergraduate students of Information Systems at STIKOM Surabaya. Sixty-nine (69) students were involved, 34 of whom were the subjects of the experimental group and 35 were the subjects of the control group. The collected data were statistically analyzed by using the two-way analysis of variance technique (ANOVA) with the significance level of 0.05. The findings of this research indicate that there was a significant difference in learning achievement, for the General Management course, between groups of students taught with the web-based STAD-type cooperative learning strategies and those taught with the text-based STAD-type cooperative learning strategies. Based on the findings, the researcher suggests lecturers to implement the STAD-type cooperative learning strategies, and use the web-based and text-based strategies simultaneously (complementarily) in the form of blended learning. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan desain faktorial versi nonequivalen control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Sistem Informasi semester I di STIKOM Surabaya yang berjumlah 69 mahasiswa, terdiri dari 34 mahasiswa untuk kelas eksperimen dan 35 mahasiswa untuk kelas kontrol. Data yang terkumpul diolah secara statistik dengan menggunakan teknik analisis varian dua jalur dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mata kuliah Manajemen Umum yang signifikan antara kelompok mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis web dan strategi kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis teks. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disarankan untuk menerapkan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan menggunakannya secara bersamaan (saling melengkapi) antara yang berbasis web dengan yang berbasis teks dalam bentuk blended learning.
