Abstract

This study aims to describe parenting styles applied by parents to children, to describe children's learning achievements, and to find out differences in learning achievement based on parenting styles. By understanding existing developments, it is hoped that parents as first and foremost teachers for children can improve parenting according to development, and see children's abilities in terms of learning. The research method in this scientific work uses the ex post facto research method. With an understanding that this research is conducted by examining an event that has occurred and then reviewing the factors that gave rise to the incident. Based on research through literature studies, it shows that children's learning achievement using democratic parenting is the most appropriate and very dominant so that there is an increase in learning according to their abilities, it can be concluded that appropriate parenting according to developments in this era of disruption is not something that hinders improving children's learning, but must be an opportunity to continue to guide and motivate children to learn to take advantage of the situation, and cultivate it according to the knowledge and knowledge they learn, because there are differences in children's learning achievement based on parenting styles that look like (authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting and permissive parenting). misif, very influential and expected achievements will be answered according to learning objectives. Abstract

Writing this study aims to determine the effect of the make a match learning model on student learning outcomes on heat transfer material for grade 5 SD Ki Ageng Giring. This research was conducted using a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design. The type of design chosen in this study is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used was grade 5 as many as 21 students as research subjects. Based on the data obtained, the results showed that there was an influence of the picture card-based learning model on student learning outcomes. This is supported by research data which shows a significance value of 0.00. Thus, based on the sig testing criteria <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected so that there’s a positive influence with the application of picture card-based make a match learning model on the learning outcomes of cognitive aspects of students in learning IPA heat transfer materials. This research is expected to be useful for all parties involved.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to gain a better understanding of how learning outcomes are influenced by the habit of memorizing multiplication in mathematics learning. The method used is quantitative experiment. School administrators, teachers and students at SD Negeri Mejing 2 were the focus of this research. The data collection technique for this research used written tests in classes IVA and IVB. This research used the Mann-Whitney statistic test with the average mathematics learning outcomes for class IVA obtained being greater than class IVB. So the habit of memorizing multiplication affects learning outsomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the characteristics of prospective elementary school teacher students who must be built to mentally prepare them, so that they become prospective elementary school teachers who have noble character and are in accordance with the demands of the ages. In this case the effort that must be made to build the character of students majoring in PGSD is by placing lectures on Professional and Educational Ethics so that they become a forum for providing character education for students majoring in PGSD. Professional teachers are also not only teachers who rely solely on material, but must also rely on their moral qualities and must also uphold the values ​​of the professional code of ethics. Abstract

Budaya sekolah merupakan suatu bentuk kesepakatan bersama yang digunakan dalam kehidupan bersama dan diterapkan untuk memecahkan kesulitan serta permasalahan yang dihadapi sekolah dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang cerdas dan berkarakter baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap karakter peserta didik di SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 2 Yogyakarta. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk deskripsi hasil wawancara, hasil observasi dan dokumentasi. Sasaran utama penelitian kualitatif adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan staf di SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 2 Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini adalah budaya sekolah yang terbangun dengan baik secara otomatis akan berpengaruh pada karakter peserta didik yang baik, begitu pula sebaliknya jika budaya yang dibangun tidak baik maka akan muncul karakter peserta didik yang kurang baik. Proses pendidikan merupakan proses pembudayaan dan proses pembudayaan merupakan proses pendidikan, begitu pula halnya dengan budaya sekolah yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pembentukan karakter pada peserta didik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observation of difficulties experienced by elementary school students in solving mathematical word problems, particularly concerning the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and the Least Common Multiple (LCM). The primary aim of this study is to understand in more depth the types of these difficulties and their contributing factors. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 5th-grade students at SD N Bibis. To collect data, we used several methods: diagnostic tests to observe student error patterns, semi-structured interviews to ascertain students' perspectives and the root causes of their difficulties, and document analysis of student work. The research findings indicate that students indeed experience difficulties in several important areas. These include: (1) a lack of understanding of the information present in word problems, (2) difficulty converting word problems into appropriate mathematical forms or sentences, (3) confusion in determining whether a problem should be solved with GCF or LCM, and (4) errors in performing basic mathematical calculations. Several factors that contribute to these difficulties are: insufficient understanding of the basic concepts of GCF and LCM, limited experience of students in working on various types of word problems, obstacles in understanding the language or terms used in the problems, and a lack of enthusiasm and interest in the subject matter. This research concludes that to overcome these difficulties, it is crucial to emphasize a more in-depth conceptual understanding, provide ample varied and contextual word problem practice, utilize engaging and interactive learning media, and regularly train students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Teachers act as role models and central figures for their students. Meanwhile, the wave of globalization is rapidly spreading, particularly among children. This study aims to explore how teacher competencies are implemented during the teaching and learning process in elementary schools. The research took place on Friday, June 14, 2024, at SD N Guwosari, located in Kembanggede, Guwosari, Pajangan, Bantul, DI Yogyakarta. The focus of this study is to highlight the essential role of teacher competence in classroom activities. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, with data analysis following the Miles and Huberman model, which includes: (1) data collection, (2) data display, (3) data reduction, and (4) verification or conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that teacher competence holds a significant influence on the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes in elementary schools.
