Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) determine the suitability location of TPS. 2) determine the scope of TPS services to the settlement. 3) determine the capacity of TPS. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. 1) Several parameters used in the model of Geographic Information System with scorring method to find out the suitable of TPS location. 2) Service area analyst method to find out the scope of TPS services. 3) Comparing between volume of refuse and TPS to find out the capacity of TPS, next used formulation of CP (Container Procurement) the number of containers that need to be added. The result of this research are 1) All TPS in Jambi were appropriate class. 2) The result service area analyst showed that scope of TPS services to the settlement in Jambi city not enough, where 57,27% of the population served optimally. 3) The capacity of TPS in Jambi city still need the number of containers, that were 30 unit.

Abstract

The research of aims are :1) know the influence of the BTS distance to the receiver of the signal, the height ot the place, and the direction of slope to strength of cell phone signal in the Kecamatan Mapat Tunggul Selatan. 2) know the suitability of BTS (Base Transceiver Station) towers in the Kecamatan Mapat Tunggul Selatan. This research is quantitative with a spatial approach by looking at the strength of the signal with the physical condition of the region and seeing the influence of signal strength with BTS specifications, namely the distance from BTS, the height of the place and the direction of the slope. Using linear regression analysis and overlays.The results of this research are: 1)The height of the place is significant value of 0,011 there is enough evidence to say that the height variable effects the signal strength, trust level of 0,05. Distance from BTS significant value of 0,000 enough evidence to state the variable distance from BTS has an effect on signal, trust level of 0,05. The direction of the slope is significant 0,258 not enough evidence that the direction of the slope variable influences the signal strength, trust level of 0,05. 2) The results of the overlay of the slope class map, settlement and the height of the place shows that building a BTS tower in Kenagarian Muaro Sungai Lolo is not suitable due to the distance of the population apart, to the number of adjacent population does not reach 1.000 families. Seen from the geographical situation the area is very difficult to build a BTS tower, so that the Kecamatan Mapat Tunggul Selatan can not build a BTS tower in 2019.

Abstract

This research of aims are; 1) determine the density of vegetation in Padang City. 2) know the surface temperature distribution in Padang City. 3) know the effect of vegetation density on the surface temperature of Padang City. This type of research is descriptive quantitative approach. In obtaining the value of vegetation density the researchers used the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index). Meanwhile, to get the surface temperature value using the LST (Land Surface Temperature). The result of NDVI analysis shows that over a period of 20 years the density of very dense vegetation decreased by 30741,86 Ha. LST analysis show that the surface temperature in 1999 was 14.03°C - 33.00°C, in 2009 the surface temperature was 14.03°C - 33.80°C and the surface temperature of 2019 was 13.64°C - 34.67°C. The results of linear regression analysis showed that vegetation density affects surface temperature. R Square obtained in 1999 is 0.95 with an affects level of 95%, in 2009 which is 0.97 with an affects level of 97% and in 2019 which is 0.99 with an affects level of 99%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the distribution of motorcycle repair shops in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Data collected through field surveys and interviews. Data analysis techniques using the application (software) ArcGIS Geographic Information System 10.3. The distribution patterns of motorcycle workshops in the Koto district are analyzed by analysis of the nearest neighbor (nearest neighbor analys). The results showed that the distribution pattern of motorcycle workshops in Koto Tangah Subdistrict was clustered with a total of 107 motorcycle workshop businesses. 101 motorcycle repair shop business status is free workshop, 6 motorcycle workshop business with dealer and representative workshop found in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. Turnover of sales sparepart and service of workshop businesses in the Koto Tangah Subdistrict of Padang City is Rp 500,000 - Rp.36,000,000 with turnover of sales sparepart of motorcycle Rp 500,000 - 5.500,000 with 84 workshops totaling 78%, turnover of sales service of motorcycle 1,000,000 - 6,000,000 with 4 7 workshops or 44%, out of 107 workshop businesses in the Koto Tangah District of Padang City.

Abstract

This research to determine the morphology of the Bandung Basin and determine the characteristics of sedimentary rocks in the Cibogo River. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative descriptive analysis in this study starts from determining the process of taking sedimentary rocks and sedimentary rock descriptions by megaskopis. The results of this study show the Bandung Basin morphology, there are 11 landform units, namely Alluvial Fan, Floodplain, Volcanoes, Lava Flow, Anticline Ridge, Lava Flow, Alluvial Volcano Fan, Denudasional Hills, Mountains or Plato Hills and Footslope Slopes. Sedimentary rocks found in the Cibogo River can be classified into two, namely sandstone and clay stone. In observations in the field the sedimentary rocks are non kabonatan which when dripped with 0.1 N HCl liquid to the sedimentary rocks, does not show a reaction or is not bubbly, this shows the sedimentary rocks have low or no carbonate content.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi penggunaan lahan pada DAS Air Dingin bagian hulu di Kota Padang berdasarkan tingkat bahaya erosi dan arahan konservasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat bahaya erosi ditentukan berdasarkan rumus Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) dan arahan konservasi mengacu pada modifikasi dari Kumajas (1992). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahaya erosi sangat ringan yaitu 5.93 ton/ha/tahun dengan luas 58.61 ha, erosi ringan yaitu 43.9 ton/ha/tahun dengan luas 24.49 ha, erosi sedang yaitu 181.64 ton/ha/tahun dengan luas 3.91 ha, dan erosi berat yaitu 74.91 ton/ha/tahun dengan luas 4.33 ha. Sedangkan arahan konservasi pada erosi sangat ringan dibiarkan dalam keadaan alami, erosi ringan dilakukan dengan pembuatan teras bangku, erosi sedang dilakukan dengan rotasi tanaman dengan teras berdasarkan lebar (pemanfaatan mulsa), dan erosi berat dilakukan dengan teras bangku (penggarapan dengan tenaga manusia).Kata Kunci: Erosi, Konservasi, DAS, Air Dingin bagian hulu, Kota Padang Abstract This research was conducted to identify the land use on the upstream part of Air Dingin Watershed in Koto Tangah Sub-district, Padang City based on the level of erosion and conservation directives. The method used to determine the level of erosion is determined based on Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) formula and conservation directives refers to the modification by Kumajas(1992). The results showed very mild erosion is 5.93 tons/ha/year with an area of 58.61 ha, mild erosion is 43.9 tons/ha/year with an area of 24.49 ha, moderate erosion is 181.64 tons/ha/year with an area of 3.91 ha, and heavy erosion is 74.91 tons/ha/year with broad 4.33 ha. While conservation directives on very mild erosion were left in a natural state, mild erosion is performed with a bench terracing, moderate erosion is being done by crop rotation with a terrace based on a width (mulsa utilization), and heavy erosion is done with a bench porch (cultivating with human labour).Keywords: Erosion, Conservation, Watershed, Upstream Part of Air Dingin, Padang City

Abstract

Longsor merupakan salah satu jenis bencana yang seringkali terjadi pada DAS Tarusan kabupaten pesisir selatan, Sumatera Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memetakan persebaran zona rawan bencana longsor di DAS Tarusan Pesisir Selatan. Pemetaan zona rawan bencana longsor diklasifikasikan dalam 3 kategori, yaitu zona rawan longsor rendah, rawan longsor sedang dan rawan longsor tinggi. Analisis peta zona rawan longsor dilakukan dengan bantuan alat GIS (Geography Information System). Pemetaan bencana tanah longsor dibuat dengan software ArcGIS dengan metode skoring dan pembobotan, serta tumpang susun (overlay) antar parameter penyusunnya. Acuan parameter yang digunakan dalam analisis adalah Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 22/PRT/M/2007 tentang Pedoman Penataan Ruang Kawasan Rawan Bencana Longsor. Hasil zonasi rawan bencana longsor pada DAS Tarusan Pesisir Selatan kategori zona rawan longsor tinggi adalah seluas 2564,18 Ha. Kemudian luasan zona rawan longsor sedang adalah 16560,08 Ha. Serta luasan zona rawan longsor rendah adalah 8974,44 Ha.

Abstract

Abstract The flash flood that occurred in November 2017 in Nagari Guguak Sarai, Sungai Lasi District, Solok Regency caused damage to settlements and agricultural land. The cause of flash flood is landslides in the upstream of the river due to high rainfall. To find out the areas that are potentially dangerous due to the flow of flash flood and the damage affected, it is necessary to map the flash flood hazard index using the mix method. As a result, the total area of ​​the flash flood hazard area reaches 373.347 ha and the area of ​​physical vulnerability reaches 12.33 ha with an estimated loss of more than 200 million rupiah for house damage and an estimated loss of more than 400 million rupiah for damage to public facilities. The flash flood hazard index map is used as a reference to determine areas that have the potential for flash flood overflows and the physical vulnerability map is used as a measurement of physical damage losses due to flash floods in Nagari Guguak Sarai. Abstract

This study aims to: 1). To find out the preparedness of the people of Nagari Talang Babungo in dealing with floods in terms of disaster knowledge. 2). To find out the preparedness of household policies in Nagari Talang Babungo. 3). To know the preparedness of disaster emergency response in Nagari Talng Babungo. 4). To find out the preparedness of disaster early warning in Nagari Talang Babungo. 5). To find out the preparedness of community resources in dealing with disasters in Nagari Talang Babungo This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The technique of collecting data by conducting interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Sources of data from this study using primary data obtained and collected by researchers directly in the field and using secondary data obtained from journals and related agencies. The results of this study: 1). The knowledge preparedness of the people of Nagari Talang Babungo is in the high category with an average of 67%. 2). The preparedness of community policies in dealing with disasters in Nagari Talang Babungo is in the less prepared category with an average disaster hazard index of 54%. 3). Emergency response preparedness in dealing with disasters in Nagari Talang Babungo is categorized as not yet ready with an average disaster hazard index of 19%. 4). Disaster early warning preparedness in Nagari Talang Babugo is in the almost ready category with a disaster hazard index of 56%. 5). The preparedness of community resources in dealing with disasters is classified as not ready with an average of 15%. 6). The community preparedness index in dealing with flood disasters in Nagari Talang Babungo is classified as less prepared.

Abstract

Pariwisata adalah berbagai macam kegiatan wisata dan didukung berbagai fasilitas dan layanan yang disediakan oleh masyarakat, pengusaha, Pemerintah, dan Pemerintah daerah. Potensi wisata adalah semua obyek (alam, budaya, buatan) yang memerlukan banyak penanganan agar dapat memberikan nilai daya tarik bagi wisatawan. Agar daya tarik wisata meningkat, diperlukan strategi promosi yang cocok. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah Masalah yang dihadapi mitra yaitu (1) Keterbatasan pengetahuan mitra dalam mempromosikan Kawasan Seribu Rumah Gadang ke Level Lokal dan Nasional, (2) Belum Tersedianya Informasi Penunjuk Lokasi Kawasan Rumah Gadang (3) Kesulitan Promosi Wisata Terdigitalisasi di di Kawasan Saribu Rumah Gadang. Dengan aplikasi ini memberikan informasi secara detail dan interaktif akan akomodasi pariwisata dalam bentuk mobile application dengan nama Aplikasi Geowisata Smart SRG untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisata di Kawasan Saribu Rumah Gadang, meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat sekitar dengan pengembangan lokasi wisata berbasis kearifan lokal dan mempromosikan Kawasan Saribu Rumah Gadang sebagai upaya melestarikan kearifan lokal.
