Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: a) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan full day school dalam pembentukan dan penguatan karakter religius siswa Sekolah Dasar Swasta (SDS) di Medan, b) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan full day school dalam pembentukan dan penguatan karakter religius siswa SDS di Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April s.d Agustus 2018 di SDS Medan yaitu SDS IT Siti Hajar, SDS IT Nur Ihsan, dan SDS Nurul ‘Azizi. Teknik pengumpulan data: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) kegiatan keagamaan dilaksanakan secara terjadwal yaitu ada kegiatan harian, kegiatan mingguan, dan kegiatan tahunan, setiap harinya siswa melaksanakan ibadah di sekolah yaitu membaca asmaul husna, baca Al-Quran dan hafal surat Al-Quran, sholat dhuha, sholat dzuhur, dan sholat ashar serta di awal pembelajaran selalu diawali dengan membaca doa dan diakhiri baca hamdalah, dan adanya kegiatan setiap jumat yaitu infaq serta dihari sabtu ada BINKAS (Bimbingan Anak Sholeh), setiap tahun melaksanakan peringatan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, isra mi’raj, pesantren kilat pada bulan ramadhan, pembagian takjil dan sedekah dan kegiatan qurban 2) faktor pendukung pelaksanaan full day school dalam pembentukan dan penguatan karakter religius yaitu SDM yaitu kemampuan guru dalam menjelaskan dan mengajak siswa untuk beribadah serta mampu menjadi teladan dan model dalam berpakaian sesuai dengan syariat Islam, dan adanya sarana dan prasarana ibadah yaitu tempat berwudhu dan masjid serta daftar cek sholat siswa serta orang tua yang selalu mendukung program dari sekolah dalam hal bidang keagamaan. Jadi faktor penghambatnya hampir bisa dikatakan tidak ada. Dapat dinyatakan bahwa melalui pelaksanaan full day school, siswa SDS di Medan memiliki karakter religius. Abstract

This research is motivated by the mathematics learning process. Educators sometimes do not use varied learning models, so students experience boredom in the learning process. Apart from that, teachers still use conventional learning methods which direct the learning process more from the teacher to the students. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the student facilitator and explaining learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group. The population studied in this research were all students from class I to class VI, totaling 142 people. The sample in this study used a non-probability technique with purposive sampling, namely a technique for determining samples selected based on certain criteria. The sample consisted of two classes V-A and V-B at SD Al-Ittihadiyah consisting of 38 students. The data collection techniques used by researchers are documentation and tests, namely giving pre-tests and post-tests. The research results, as determined by an independent t-test, showed that the average value for the experimental class was 76.86 with a standard deviation of 9.372. The average value for the control class is 67.82 with a standard deviation of 9.926. This shows that the average score for students in the experimental class who participated in the student facilitator and explaining learning model showed a higher level of improvement in their academic performance compared to students in the control class, who received conventional teaching. The sig (2-tailed) value of 0.007 is smaller than 0.005, which indicates that there is a statistically significant impact of the student facilitator and explaining learning model on students' academic achievement in mathematics at Al-Ittihadiyah Elementary School

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media wordwall terhadap hasil belajar pemjumlahan dua angka siswa kelas II madrsah ibtidaiyah.Studi ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan pendekatatan quasi eksperimen.Populasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 154 siswa.Sedangkan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas II A dan II D dengan jumlah 47 siswa.Data dikumpulkan menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan wordwall dengan hasil belajar berdasarkan rata-rata nilai posttest untuk kelas ekperimen sebesar 82,77dan kelas kontrol sebesar 46,00. Adapun hasil uji hipotesis terdapat hasil Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 nilai Sig (2-tailed) ini <α (0,05). Hal ini berarti menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai posttest yang signifikan antara kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol.Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi penjumlahan dua angka siswa kelas II madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

The research that has been carried out is entitled “Development of tangram media with flat material to increase interest in learning for class II MIS Ikhwanul Muslimin” and is based on the learning phenomenon which still revolves around the teacher, the unavailability of learning media, and low interest in learning which makes the class atmosphere less fun and finally sleepy. Tangram media is an educational game that can increase interest in learning about flat shapes. This research aims to develop tangram media to increase interest in learning mathematics. The teaching material presented in this development is class II flat figures. The subjects in this research were students in class II-A MIS Ikhwanul Muslimin. Tangram media development procedures in this research refer to research and development with the ADDIE development code, which goes through the stages : analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, questionnaire contents. Data collection techniques use validation, questionnaires and tests. All instruments used have gone through the validation stage by experts. The results of this research show that the validity of the material expert obtained a score of 75% in the valid category, then the validation expert obtained a score of 98% in the very valid category, the two scores were averaged to obtain the final validation score, so the final result of the validation was 86,5% in the very valid category. Based on the results of the practicality of tangram media obtained from the responses of 26 students 98% were in the very practical category, then the teachers response obtained a score of 96% in the very practical category, so that the average score obtained from the two practical respondents was 97% in the very practical category. Whilw the level of effectiveness using the N-Gain formula and obtaining an average N-Gain score reached a score of 0,88 which is a percentage of 88% in the high category. Thus, the development of tangram media is very effective in increasing interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan dilatarbelakangi bahwa rendahnya pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika khususnya materi pecahan dan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berlangsung dikelas masih monoton tnnpa menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi pelajaran sehingga siswa tidak aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 04 Koto Balingka. Dengan jumlah sampel yaitu kelas (III-A) berjumlah 16 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, (III-B) berjumlah 16 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol didalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulanyya datanya yaitu dengan tes. Berdasarkan pada temuan penelitian di dengan penggunaan media puzzle pecahan pada mata pelajaran Matematika khususnya materi Pecahan, layak digunakan oleh guru sebagai satu solusi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Pecahan.

Abstract

The research that has been carried out is entitled "Development of Media Counting Box to Improve the Ability to Count Integers of Grade 1 Students of SDIT Syifaurrahmah" which is based on the background that students' ability to count numbers in addition and subtraction materials is still lacking, as well as the lack of use of teaching aids from teachers so that students get bored easily so that their understanding of addition and subtraction materials has not been achieved. The research methodology uses research and development methods or often called Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Then the data analysis technique of this study uses qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The validity of the Counting Box learning media by media expert validators was 97%, by material expert validators was 98% with a very valid category. The results of practicality by the teacher's response were 94% and the students' response was 97% and the results of the analysis of the two respondents received an average score of 96% in the practical category. The students' learning outcomes were an average score of 82% obtained through pretest and posttest questions which showed that the Counting Box media was effective to use.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to develop animated video learning media to improve the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VI students. This research is based on several problems, namely students who do not understand the discussion of learning material because mathematics is considered boring and it is difficult to memorize formulas. This made students unable to solve problems in the learning process. This research used research method and development using 4D research model. The sample of this research consisted of 25 students, with the first step not using animated videos and the second step using animated videos. The research instruments used in this research were tests (essays) and questionnaires. The research results showed that the feasibility level was 92% in the "very valid" category, the practicality level was 92% in the "very practical" category, and the effectiveness level was 88.52% in the "effective" category. These results can also be seen from the pretest with an average value of 34 and posttest with an average value of 92, so the average N-Gain Score was 88.52%. So, it can be concluded that the development of animated video learning media can improve the Mathematical problem solving abilities of 6th Grade of Elementary School students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the numeracy ability of grade I students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Based on Cognitive Level. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population used by all students of MIN 4 Medan. Sampling from the population used the Issac Michael technique which obtained a result of 249 from the entire population. Furthermore, samples were taken using cluster sampling which was specifically for classes I, A and I B, a total of 56. The test instrument is in the form of an objective description of the "filling" and the results are in the form of scores. The data analysis in this study is a descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results showed the numeracy ability of students in class I MIN 4 Medan, namely: 1) the level of remembering for the "high" category was 37 students or 75.51%; for the "medium" category: there are 4 students or 8.16%; and the "low" category there are 8 students or 16.32%. 2) the level of understanding for the "high" category was 28 students or 57.41%; the "medium" category has 16 students or 32.65%; and the "low" category there are 5 students or 10.20%. 3) the application rate for the "high" category was 18 students or 36.73%; the "medium" category has 29 students or 59.18%; and the "low" category has 2 students or 4.08%. The implication in this study is to increase the practice of contextual questions and carry out game-based learning.

Abstract

This study, entitled "The Effect of Flat Shape Comic Media on Students’ Cognitive Abilities in Mathematics Learning in Elementary Schools 136539 Tanjungbalai," aimed to determine the effect of using comics in learning flat shapes on the cognitive abilities of second-grade students at SD Negeri 136539, Tanjungbalai. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of the two-group pretest-posttest type. The research subjects consisted of 20 students divided into two groups, namely the experimental group using comic media and the control group using conventional methods, each consisting of 10 students. The instrument used was a multiple-choice question that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The independent t-test showed a significant influence between the experimental and control groups with a significance value. The average learning outcomes of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. This indicates that comics have a positive effect on improving students' cognitive abilities. Comics present material in a visual, engaging, and contextual manner, making it easier to understand. Therefore, comics can be an effective alternative learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan berjudul “Pengaruh Media Geoboard Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa Kelas  IV SDN 112294  Kanopan  Ulu” yang dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil pre-test dengan diperoleh nya nilai rata-rata sebesar 56,80. Rendahnya kemampuan berhitung diduga karena penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan terbilang monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berhitung perkalian peserta didik sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media kincir pintar serta untuk mengetahui apakah media geoboard dapat berpengaruh pada kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas IV SDN 112294 Kanopan Ulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian adalah Quasi  Eksperiment  (eksperimen  semu).  Desain  yang  digunakan  dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment. Dalam desain ini sampel dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, sampel yang digunakan adalah peserta didik kelas IV A dengan kelas IV B berjumlah 18 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen  dan  kelas  II  A berjumlah  14  siswa  sebagai  kelas  kontrol.  Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Simple T-Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat rata- rata nilai pre-test sebesar 56,80 dan nilai post-test sebesar 77,20. Kemudian pada hasil uji Paired Simple T-Test bahwa terdapat nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 dengan begitu maka data dikatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang dimana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada media geoboard terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa.
