Abstract

Bullying is an act of hurting another person physically, verbally, relationally and cyber bullying that is carried out repeatedly and harms the victim. The purpose of this study was to determine (i) a description of bullying behavior and (ii) a description of bullying behavior based on gender by students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Aceh Besar. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The study population was 40 students who met the criteria for bullying perpetrators, while the research sample consisted of 40 students with a saturated sample, i.e., the entire population was the sample. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire and data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results showed that (i) the description of bullying behavior carried out by students at school was in the low category with an average of 42.28 or with a percentage of 70% (33 students) (ii) a description of bullying behavior based on gender as a whole on average are male students are 53.58 or with a percentage of 53% (10) of the total sample of 19 students and female students are 48.14 are in the low category with a percentage of 86% (18).Keywords: Bullying, Behavior, Students.

Abstract

The factors in choosing a major for higher education for grade-11 students of Senior High School is the first step in preparing their future career. Before student continuing education to higher education students have to determine the right major for his/herself. The factors that influence student in choosing the major in higher education is personality factor, friend of the same age factor, and parent guidance factor. The purpose of this research is to determine the dominant factor that influence 11th grade State Senior High School 5 of Banda Aceh students in election process for major in advanced education. This research used descriptive qualitative as research approach. The total sample of this research is 138 students. The simple random sampling techniques is used in obtaining the sample of this research. The data collection in this research is using scale questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis using the percentage of descriptive analysis, this research results indicate that there are two dominant factors affecting students in election process for major in advanced education which is personality factor with percentage of 92% and parents factor with percentage of 76%, meanwhile friend of the same age factor gives students insignificant influence in the election process for major in advanced education with percentage of 33%. The conclusion in this research is the student of 11th grade choose majors because the influence of personality factor and friend of the same age factor.

Abstract

One of the roles of the homeroom teacher is as a guide. At elementary school, the teacher has complex responsibilities in addition to teaching as well as guiding students so that they can achieve developmental tasks optimally. This research destination is to know the role of homeroom teacher as a guide for elementary students in Banda Aceh by using a quantitative descriptive approach. The subject of the research total was 101 homeroom teachers in 9 elementary schools Banda Aceh. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. The results of the descriptive data analysis show that the role of homeroom teacher as a guide in elementary schools Banda Aceh is were 95 homeroom teachers on very high category (94%), in the high category 5 homeroom teacher (5%), then in the moderate category 1 homeroom teacher (1%). The condusion that the homeroom teachers in elementry school at Banda Aceh have been as a guide on students which doing guidance there are (1) identification the needed of students, (2) the formulate of destinations in study and steer students about the destinations of study, (3) ) giving the notice to students in according with the needed and the trouble and responsible in their life, (4) giving briefing or orientation which efective in study, (5) guide relationship beetwen individu and their social, (6) make a students as an individu how have self esteem, opennes, responsible and freedom, (7) cooperate with counselors and the other teachers in giving aid which the students needed. The implication of this research is that homeroom teachers can upgrade their performance as a guide to students in elementary school at banda aceh, so the students can grow and developing in optimal.   Keywords: Roles; Homeroom Teacher; Guide; Elementary School Student ABSTRAK Salah satu peranan Guru Kelas adalah sebagai pembimbing. Pada tingkat SD Guru memiliki tanggung jawab kompleks selain mengajar juga membimbing agar siswa dapat mencapai tugas-tugas perkembangan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Guru Kelas sebagai pembimbing pada siswa SD Kota Banda Aceh dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 101 orang Guru Kelas dari 9 SD di Kota Banda Aceh. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa Angket. Hasil analisis deskriptif data menunjukkan bahwa Guru Kelas yang berperan sebagai pembimbing di SD Kota Banda Aceh ialah 95 orang Guru Kelas berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (94%), pada kategori tinggi 5 orang Guru Kelas (5%), kemudian pada kategori sedang 1 orang Guru Kelas (1%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Guru Kelas di SD Kota Banda Aceh sudah bertanggung jawab penuh dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai pembimbing pada siswa dengan melakukan kegiatan bimbingan yaitu: (1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan peserta didik, (2) merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran dan mengarahkan siswa sesuai tujuan pembelajaran, (3) memberikan nasihat kepada siswa sesuai kebutuhan dan kesulitan yang dialaminya serta bertangung jawab dalam kehidupan, (4) memberikan pengarahan atau orientasi dalam rangka belajar yang efektif, (5) membina hubungan yang baik antar pribadi dan sosialnya, (6) memperlakukan siswa sebagai individu yang mempunyai harga diri, keterbukaan, tanggap dan kebebasan, (7) bekerja sama dengan konselor dan tenaga pendidik lainnya dalam memberikan bantuan yang dibutuhkan siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini Guru Kelas senantiasa dapat meningkatkan kinerja sebagai pembimbing pada siswa SD Kota Banda Aceh, sehingga siswa dapat tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal.

Abstract

: Regulasi diri dalam belajar merupakan kemampuan siswa untuk mengatur cara berpikir dan tindakan mereka selama proses pembelajaran. Faktor utama yang mendukung regulasi diri adalah motivasi, keyakinan, dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki siswa, yang semuanya berperan penting dalam mencapai prestasi belajar yang optimal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat regulasi diri siswa dalam belajar dan mengeksplorasi implikasinya terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 364 siswa dari lima Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Banda Aceh, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Skala regulasi diri dalam belajar diukur dengan instrumen yang terdiri dari 44 item pernyataan, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya melalui expert judgment. Dalam studi ini, ditemukan bahwa lebih dari setengah siswa (lebih dari 50%) berada pada kategori tinggi dalam hal regulasi diri, yang artinya mereka sudah cukup mampu mengelola aspek-aspek tersebut dalam belajar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki keterampilan yang baik dalam mengatur dan mengelola proses pembelajaran mereka, meskipun ada kemungkinan masih ada beberapa siswa yang membutuhkan dukungan lebih dalam mengembangkan kemampuan ini.
