Abstract

Background: Dental and oral health problems in primary school students are in the high category, this is because efforts to improve dental health behavior of school children are still not optimal. One effective prevention of these problems through the act of brushing your teeth diligently, thoroughly and regularly. Proper dental health education is given to primary school students in the form of media that is packaged by learning while playing. Media promotion explosion teeth box is expected to change the behavior of brushing your child's teeth. Objective: To produce a suitable and effective explosion teeth box promotion media model towards changing tooth brushing behavior among  primary school students. Methods: Research and Development (RD) and product/model trials (quasy experimental control group pretest and posttest design studies). The subjects of class III primary school students were divided into 2 groups: explosion teeth box as an intervention group and flashcard media as a control group and the duration of treatment for 10 days. The results of the model design were validated by experts. Data were tested using the interclass correlation coefficient test, shapiro-wilk, friedman, and post-hoc wilcoxon. Results: The average validation of explosion teeth box experts was 86.66 (very feasible) as a medium for the promotion of dental health in primary school students shown by the p-value (0.001). This model was effective in increasing the knowledge of brushing teeth (p=0.001) and decreasing the index debris score (p=0.001) compared to the control group. Conclusion: The application of explosion teeth box which was carried out for 10 days effectively improved the knowledge of brushing teeth in primary school students compared to the control group. Keywords: Primary school students, explosion teeth box, changing tooth brushing

Abstract

Intradialytic hypertension can reduce the quality of life in hemodialysis patients. Providing appropriate nursing interventions will reduce morbidity, and improve the quality of intradialytic hypertensive patients. Provision of “SEHAT” nursing intervention package in the form of providing support, education and empowering, holistically with attention to therapeutic sensitivity can be applied to overcome patients problems. The purpose of the study was to analyze the "SEHAT" nursing intervention package to improve the quality of life of intradialytic hypertensive patients. The research method was a randomized controlled trial on 40 samples of hemodialysis patients which were divided into 20 group samples and 20 control group samples. The research instrument uses the Indonesian version of the Kidney Disease Quality of Life (KDQOL-36). The intervention was carried out for 4 weeks using the SEHAT nursing intervention package. The results showed an increase in the quality of life scores of respondents in the intervention group after being given SEHAT nursing intervention (p=0.000). There was a significant difference in the quality of life scores between the intervention group and the control group after being given the intervention (p=0.000). The “SEHAT” nursing intervention package is effective for improving the quality of life of intradialytic hypertensive patients.

Child health policy mental retardation with all its limitations requires the participation of parents/ guardians. Brushing teeth behavior of parents in increasing motivation to brush children's teeth mentally retarded. Strategies for providing dental health education in accordance with the needs and abilities of children are needed. Behavior change therapy model in parents/ guardians is a learning model as a skill in brushing children's teeth mentally retarded. Puspose: The purpose of this study is to produce a behavior change therapy model that is able to improve the brushing behavior of parents/ guardians of children with mental retardation. Methods: Research and Development (R D) procedures there are 5 stages of gathering information, design models, expert validation and revision, test models, the final results of the model. The sample collected 32 parents / guardians. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Data on the model results were tested by paired different tests, intergroup difference tests, and proportion. Results: The results of this study, obtained about changes in significant in increasing knowledge knowledge (0.000), attitudes (0.000), skills (0.000) parents/ guardians. Conclusion The model of appropriate and effective behavior change therapy is effective in increasing the brushing of teeth of parents / guardians of children with mental retardation. Keywords: Behaviour change therapy models, tooth brushing behavior, parents/ guardians of children with mental retardation.

Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia in pregnancy is one of the dominant causes of maternal death in the world and will be seven times higher in developing countries. Anxiety is more common in pregnant women with preeclampsia than normal pregnant women and will aggravate that condition. Hypnotherapy can reduce anxiety and blood pressure, but not all pregnant women are easily suggested and show resistance to hypnotherapy. Objective: This study aims to prove the effect of hypnopressure on anxiety in pregnant women with preeclampsia. Methods: This study used queasy-experimental with pretest-postest design on two groups of study. Hypnopressure was a stimulation technique at yintang, neiguan and baihui points during hypnotherapy. It was applied one hour weekly for three weeks in intervention group, while the control group received integrated ANC as standard care and anti-hypertension. A consecutive sampling was conducted for 40 pregnant women with preeclampsia and divided into two groups or 20 women for each group. Instruments used to measure anxiety applied Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). Data analysis used paired and independent t-test. Results: After the intervention of hypnopressure, anxiety score decreased significantly from 44.90 to 33.75 with p-value <0.001. In the control group, anxiety score was reduced form 45.65 to 42.70 with p-value <0.001. Hypnopressure could reduce anxiety score greater than control group. Conclusion: Hypnopressure has the effect of reducing anxiety levels in pregnant women with preeclampsia.

Abstract

This research was Quasy Experiment with a pre-test-post-test with control group design. Sample this research was 30 pregnant women, that were divided into 2 groups : the intervention group who were given beet with Fe supplementation (n = 15) and the control group was given Fe tablets (n = 15). Supplementation of beetroot to a pregnant women with anemia who were recieived Fe supplementation could increase hemoglobin levels (p = 0,000), hematocrit levels (p = 0,000), number of erythrocytes (p = 0.001), so there were significant differences in mean delta hemoglobin levels, hematocrit, and erythrocyte counts. There were differences in hemoglobin and erythrocyte levels in the intervention and control groups before and after treatment. Supplementation of 8 gram beetroot powder for 14 days to pregnant mother with anemia who were receive Fe tablets could increase hemoglobin and hematocrit levels, and number of erythrocytes

Women with PCOS experience hormonal disorders and vitamin D deficiency. Levels of vitamin D have a negative correlation with hormonal factors of PCOS.Analyze the effect of vitamin D on hormonal factors in PCOS.Search for articles through the Science Direct, PubMed, and Pro Quest databases. Inclusion criteria were publication with a randomized controlled trial design, women with PCOS, vitamin D intervention. The results measured were levels of LH, LH / FSH, TT, FT, SHBG, and DHEAS.12 studies were analyzed. Vitamin D significantly affected LH levels (WMD, ̶ 2.16; 95% CI, ̶ 3.87 to ̶ 0.45, P = 0.01), and LH / FSH ratio (WMD, ̶ 0.28; 95% CI, ̶ 0.38 to ̶ 0.19, P <0.00001) but did not significantly affect the levels of TT, FT, SHBG, and DHEAS.Vitamin D affects the levels of LH and LH / FSH ratio in PCOS.

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in women childbearing age in Indonesia according to Riskesdas in 2013 has increased in each age group. Anemia ini berdampak pada produktivitas dan kesehatan. Research on cumin has been carried out in several experimental animals that can be used to increase hemoglobin levels. To prove that giving cumin has an effect on hemoglobin levels in experimental animals.Systematic literature review by searching 2015-2020 articles on the Science Direct and Google Scholar databases using the PRISMA method. The content of cumin per 100 grams includes iron 66.36 mg, vitamin C 1270 IU, folic acid 10 µg, and protein 44.24 mg. The content of iron as an ingredient in the formation of hemoglobin, vitamin C, folic acid and protein plays a role in supporting the absorption and formation of hemoglobin. Cumin can increase hemoglobin level.
