Abstract

This research is entitled: "The Influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes on Environmental Pollution Material at SMPN 1 Samadua Aceh Selatan", this research aims to find out how the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model influence the results. Student Learning on Environmental Pollution Material at SMPN 1 Samadua. The data collection technique uses learning outcomes tests and questionnaires. Learning outcomes data are processed using t-test statistics, while student emotional intelligence questionnaires were processed using percentage formulas. The learning outcomes of students in class VII-2 experimental were higher than those in control class VII-1, as a result of data analysis carried out by the author, it was found that the comparison between the t-count values was greater than t-table, namely 10.5 1.68.  This shows that the use of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model in environmental pollution material can influence student learning outcomes at SMPN 1 Samadua, South Aceh.

Abstract

Learning media in the form of videos is one option that can be presented for the learning process. The aim of this research is to produce a learning media that uses and applies various AI that are familiar to students' ages and lives. This research uses a project based learning model, where a media is produced as a final assessment in a program. The subjects in this research were 8 prospective teacher students in their 7th semester. The existence of this project is one solution to increase the number of learning media that can be used when students start to participate directly in practical field experience activities. Learning media assessment includes concepts, context and virtual appearance. The types of AI used by students consist of Canva, Capcut, Kinemaster, inshot, alight amation, picsart, and Beat.Ly. In the process of making learning videos, students will combine the use of AI because learning videos must have audio explanations, not just visual ones. The application of media with color and language, and also equipped with contemporary background songs, makes students who see the media more interested so that the learning process and the process of transferring material concepts becomes easier.

Abstract

It is appropriate to instill IMTAQ values in science, especially biology, so that students not only understand scientific facts, but also the divine meanings in them. This research aims to determine the feasibility of a biology module integrating IMTAQ values with a problem based learning approach to the environmental pollution sub-material. This module development research refers to the EDDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations). The subjects of this research were 30 students of the Biology Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Aceh. The data collection instrument used an IMTAQ-based biology learning module feasibility questionnaire. From the research results, the percentage of module validation by material experts was 78,13% (quite valid). Meanwhile, the percentage of material validation in the area of integration of IMTAQ values was 83.5% (very valid)., and the percentage of modules by media experts was 77,17% (quite valid). The student assessment of the module obtained a percentage of 81,40% which means that the module is suitable for use as teaching material. The average N-Gain score was 0,86  which means in the high category.

Abstract

This study explores the utilization of digital media in science education through a systematic literature review approach. The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices, particularly in the teaching and learning of science. By analyzing relevant empirical studies published over the last decade, this research aims to identify trends, benefits, challenges, and the effectiveness of various digital media tools in supporting science learning. A total of [insert number, if available] articles were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria and analyzed using thematic content analysis. The findings reveal that digital media enhances student engagement, supports conceptual understanding, and promotes interactive learning environments. However, the successful integration of digital media depends on factors such as teacher competence, infrastructure availability, and pedagogical alignment. This review provides insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers to optimize digital media use in science education and encourages further investigation into context-specific applications. Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of project-based learning with the theme "Synergy of Ecosystems and Alternative Energy" in improving 21st century skills and conceptual understanding of class X students of MAS Insan Qur'ani. The problems raised are low student engagement and lack of development of 21st century skills in conventional learning. The study was conducted in February 2025 with 136 students as subjects through total sampling techniques. Data were collected using student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and work exhibition assessments. The analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively using percentage techniques. The results showed that students were active, creative, able to work together, understand concepts, and show high responsibility, with an average activity score of 85.2%. Student responses were also very positive, with the highest score in the aspect of exhibition benefits (91%). Project exhibitions such as terrariums, dioramas, and solar panels became an authentic means of displaying understanding and innovation, with terrariums getting the highest score (average 89.6). In conclusion, project-based learning is effective in improving students' engagement, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, and creativity in a meaningful and contextual manner

Abstract

The creativity of students in Indonesia is still low compared to other countries. The low of biological creativity is caused by the use of less constructivist learning methods or models. This research was conducted to determine and describe the effect of project based learning on student creativity on environmental pollution material at MAN Model, Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a quasi-experimental design through a one shot case study design. The population in this study were all students of class X MAN Model Banda Aceh with samples taken were students of class X IPA 2. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique. Moreover, the collecting data in this study used a creativity assessment observation sheet. Meanwhile, data processing applied a one-sample t-test statistic (one sample t-test). Based on the results of the t test, it is found that tcount = 50.08 and ttable = 2.04, so tcount (50.08) ttable (2.04). This shows that if tcount ttable, then Ha = accepted, whereas if tcount ttable, then H0 = accepted. Significant levels are ? = 0.05 and dk (n-1). Therefore, because tcount ttable, then Ha is accepted. In conclusion, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which states that Project Based Learning affects students creativity in environmental pollution material is accepted.
