Abstract

It is imperative to identify stunting in toddlers at an earlier stage in order to facilitate further treatment related to the health of toddlers, with the ultimate goal of improving the health status of toddlers. Stunting problems are not only related to health problems. The purpose of this study is to design and build DSS intelligence applications for the purpose of identifying stunting and determining stunting status in toddlers using Promethee models. It is anticipated that the DSS application will facilitate the early detection of stunting in toddlers and assist the Lhokseumawe City Health Office in determining the status of stunting in toddlers. The research methodology comprises a series of stages, commencing with a literature review and data collection, followed by the identification of the requirements for DSS applications, the design of the DSS application, the coding of the DSS application and the testing of the DSS applications. In this study, 27 test data (alternatives) were selected, each of which met six criteria. These criteria were age, weight, height, head circumference, speech style and behaviour. The results of the DSS system testing indicated that eight toddlers were identified as stunted, with net flow values between 0.54691588785047 and 0.65308411214953. Conversely, 19 children under five were classified as non-stunted, with net flow values below 0.5.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how Indonesian Islamic commercial banks' profitability, measured by Return on Assets (ROA), is affected by Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). Panel data regression analysis was used as a quantitative approach in this study. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample, which comprised Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Five Islamic commercial banks with a total of 80 observations throughout the 2021–2023 period were selected based on the specified criteria. Secondary data from Islamic Banking Statistics, quarterly financial statements, and other relevant literature was used. EViews software was used to analyze data using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show that the profitability of Indonesia's Islamic commercial banks is significantly impacted concurrently by NPF, CAR, and FDR. ROA is significantly impacted negatively by NPF and CAR and positively by FDR. The research model appears to adequately account for variations in the profitability of Islamic banks, as indicated by the Adjusted R-squared value of 96.7%. These findings imply that controlling financing risk, guaranteeing capital sufficiency, and monitoring liquidity are essential components for improving the financial performance of Indonesia's Islamic commercial banks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and leadership on the performance of educational staff with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic. The approach used was quantitative with a survey method through questionnaires. A total of 85 educational staff members were selected proportionally and randomly from a total population of 155 employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS software. The results showed that compensation and leadership had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. However, compensation and leadership did not directly affect the performance of educational staff. Meanwhile, job satisfaction was found to have a positive and significant effect on performance. The mediation test proved that job satisfaction fully mediated the relationship between compensation and leadership on performance. These findings emphasize the strategic role of job satisfaction in encouraging the improvement of educational staff performance within vocational higher education institutions.
