Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari program pengabdian pada masyarakat di wilayah Madiundengan subjek penelitian tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) untuk dijadikan ramuan herbal.Pelaksanaan program IPTEK bagi Masyarakat (IbM) ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberipelatihan tentang cara pengelolaan produksi ramuan herbal yang lebih higienis danmenarik dengan teknik CPOTB; (2) memberi pelatihan penggunaan teknologi tepat gunaimpulse sealer dalam pengemasan produk; dan (3) memberi pelatihan manajemen usaharamuan herbal.Program ini dilaksanakan dengan sasaran ibu-ibu PKK di wilayah RT58 danRT59 RW 14 Kelurahan Mojorejo,Kecamatan Taman, Kota Madiun.Program ini sudahberjalan sesuai dengan rencana (70%) mulai dari proses observasi, sosialisasi, pelatihandan pendampingan secara terus menerus. Beberapa produk telah dihasilkan dari programini. Namun demikianh hasilnya masih belum sempurna karena terkendala oleh waktu danperlengkapan yang belum didapatkan.Katakunci: CPOTB, TOGA, ramuan herbal

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the error and its causes made by fifth grade students of SDN Bangunrejo Kidul 1 Kedunggalar, Ngawi on descriptive and narratives writing in Indonesian language lessons. The research method was descriptive qualitative to results of descriptive and narratives writing of fifth grade students of SDN Bangunrejo Kidul 1, Kedunggalar, Ngawi on Indonesian language lessons. Data obtained by using observation, interview and documentation technique. Data analyzed through reduction, presentation, and draw conclusions. Research reveals that fifth grade students still have error on descriptive and narrative writing in capital letter, punctuation, and prepositions or passive verb di-. Class V students' error on descriptive and narrative writing are caused by the lack of language rules, accuracy and haste of students in descriptive and narrative writing of Indonesian language.

Abstract

This research attempts to find out kind of racism and the method used to explore racism in Zootopia Movie. This research is conducted in order to answer the research questions, “How does Zootopia Movie exploring racism?”, and to analyze the method of exploring racism in Zootopia Movie. The subject of this research movie entitled Zootopia (2016) produced by Disney, directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore. The researcher using qualitative method for the research.  The data are collected from the movie Zootopia as a primary data and related journals as a secondary data by using Documentation technique. The researcher using sampling technique and content analysis technique to analyze data. The result of analysis the data confirmed that Disney use transportation imagery model, representation, theory of mind, and reception to explore racism in Zootopia Movie that are applied from the beginning of the movie to the middle of the movie, Zootopia Movie manages to convey the message quite well, this is proven by the response from the Zootopia Movie audience who understands the content of the message.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze Heroine of Encanto who breaks the stereotype of Latino culture. The theory of culture is “The Seven Element of Culture” to find out the element of culture that shows stereotypes of Latino. The methods used in this article is qualitative methods with data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The result shows two aspect culture, there are social organization and custom and traditions, which give evidences of breaking the stereotype of Latino culture. Two of them confirm the female character and the new world view as young generation change the old tradition as the stereotype.

Abstract

The integration of local wisdom through folklore into learning can strengthen students' character education in a contextual manner. This study aims to identify the character education values contained in the folk story "Ki Ageng Mangir" from Bantul Regency and analyze its potential as a teaching material for character education in elementary schools. This qualitative research uses content analysis and value analysis methods. Data were collected through document studies of the folk story text, interviews with cultural experts and elementary school teachers in Bantul, and analysis of relevant learning documents. Data were analyzed using an interactive model through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the story of Ki Ageng Mangir contains strong character values, including nationalism (love for the homeland, courage in defending sovereignty), integrity (consistency of principles, responsibility), religious values, social care, and critical thinking skills in responding to conflicts and moral dilemmas. This folklore has great potential as character education material because it is geographically and culturally close to students, contains dramatic conflicts that are interesting for children, and presents complex character dilemmas that can trigger moral reasoning. This study concludes that the folklore of Ki Ageng Mangir can be effectively integrated into elementary school learning through various approaches, including storytelling, role-playing, and value analysis, to strengthen students' character education.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of speech activities as a form of public speaking practice that plays a crucial role in improving students’ communication skills. Through speech extracurricular activities, students are trained to build self-confidence, improve pronunciation and intonation, and enrich their vocabulary and grammatical competence, all of which contribute to the development of linguistic intelligence. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of speech extracurricular activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah An-Najihah Babussalam, explain their role in fostering students’ linguistic intelligence, and identify the aspects of linguistic intelligence developed through these activities. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through persistence and triangulation. The results show that speech activities are implemented through structured stages, including role division, speech text preparation, rehearsal, and performance. These activities effectively enhance students’ reading comprehension, vocabulary mastery, writing ability, critical thinking, effective communication, public speaking skills, and attentive listening.
