Abstract

This Android Mobile Based Traffic Guide Application is an application that can help make it easier for the public to get information about knowledge and understanding of traffic signs and criminal provisions in traffic, which can be used anywhere, anytime, and is more practical. Apart from providing the public with an understanding of traffic signs and related criminal provisions, the public can also reduce the rate of accidents that cause fatalities. This application runs on the Android platform using SQLite as a database. Users only need to see how to use the application to run it. In this application system process, the Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram is used which refers to the waterfall model SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) system development life cycle. The results of everything that has been carried out will form an Android mobile application that will be used by all people who need it

Abstract

The concept of decision-making aids program is currently growing very rapidly. There are so many methods that used to assist in the decision-making process. There are two methods that can be used to solve the problem of Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM); TOPSIS and SAW method. This is because those methods are simple, easy to understand, computing efficient and has the ability to measure the relative performance of decision alternatives in a simple mathematical form. The problem of this study is to solve a particular MADM case which it may be difficult to determine which method is the most relevant between the SAW and TOPSIS methods. Therefore a sensitivity test was conducted to determine the most appropriate method between SAW and TOPSIS in the settlement of the case. In this problem solving the problem of Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) had done through Sensitivity Test process first, then by using the method between SAW or TOPSIS is aimed to assist everyone in decision-making based on best alternative value

Abstract

Sunday School is an activity to teach children the basics of Christianity by delivering material according to the contents of the Bible, including the introduction of Christian songs that are packaged in a simple manner so that they are easy to understand. However, in learning activities, the teacher's way of conveying messages in the Bible is by telling stories. The learning process is conventional and has limited teaching aids and takes a long time to convey the material. In this study, the method of collecting observation data, interviews, references, documentation and questionnaires was used, while the system development method used MDLC, and the design used UML. The final result of this research is interactive learning media for Sunday school children that can be used by children for Christian religious activities. Based on the results of the user response to interactive learning media for Sunday school children by 80.4%

Abstract

Community Service conducted by STMIK Palangkaraya, especially by the faculty, is an activity from one of the Three Pillars of Higher Education that must be carried out at least once a year. The service activity carried out in Bahu Palawa Village, which is one of the villages in Kahayan Tengah Subdistrict, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The implemented service is community empowerment in the form of training focused on Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel. This training was conducted to provide knowledge and skills for staff and village officials in processing data needed according to their respective job fields. The training was organized to help improve the abilities of the staff and village officials to perform tasks related to office administration. This activity has been carried out and has received a positive response from the staff and the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Penjualan Material Batu Pecah berbasis Office Automation System (OAS) di PT. Karsatama Aneka Bangun Jayapura. Saat ini, proses bisnis perusahaan masih mengandalkan pengelolaan data manual, yang dapat menyebabkan ketidakefisienan dan ketidakakuratan data. Dengan menerapkan sistem berbasis OAS, penelitian ini berhasil mengintegrasikan proses penjualan dengan memanfaatkan Visual Basic 6.0 dan Microsoft Office Access. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengkodean, dan pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox untuk memastikan fungsionalitas sistem yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi sistem informasi penjualan ini dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik, terintegrasi dengan kasir, dan berhasil melewati pengujian fungsionalitas.

Abstract

The mastery of constantly evolving technology is a difficult challenge for teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya. To overcome this, self-development through training is necessary, such as using ChatGPT to make learning more effective. ChatGPT helps find educational resources with clear commands and supports the preparation of study plans, performance objectives, and task completion. This training was held at the Digital Marketing Laboratory of SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya and included preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Initial evaluation showed that 65% of participants did not know about ChatGPT, 15% were somewhat knowledgeable, and 20% were knowledgeable. After the training, understanding significantly increased, with the average correct answers rising from 52% to 85%. Recommendations for sustainability include focusing on difficult material, evaluating and revising training materials, and using interactive teaching methods. Implementation of interactive teaching through approaches such as group discussions, simulations, and case studies as well as direct practice.

Abstract

Penilaian kinerja guru merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Namun, proses evaluasi kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya masih menghadapi kendala, seperti subjektivitas penilai dan kurangnya transparansi dalam penentuan hasil evaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) sebagai pendekatan yang objektif dan terukur dalam menilai kinerja guru. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta studi pustaka. Proses penilaian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel sebagai alat bantu untuk menghitung nilai preferensi berdasarkan sejumlah kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dengan kode ESPR memperoleh nilai preferensi tertinggi sebesar 0,8764, yang menunjukkan kinerja paling mendekati solusi ideal. Validasi hasil dilakukan dengan perhitungan manual dan menggunakan Excel, yang menghasilkan output yang sama, sehingga membuktikan keakuratan dan konsistensi metode TOPSIS. Dengan penerapan metode ini, proses penilaian kinerja guru menjadi lebih transparan, objektif, dan adil. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pemberian penghargaan, promosi, serta pembinaan dan pengembangan profesional guru di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, metode TOPSIS terbukti menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas sistem evaluasi kinerja guru di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemilihan putra putri kampus STMIK Palangkaraya bertujuan untuk menghimpun potensi dari mahasiswa STMIK agar menjadi mahasiswa yang aktif, berpengetahuan luas, mampu untuk mandiri, mengembangkan diri, dan meningkatkan intelektual mahasiswa. Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membuat sistem pendukung keputusan seleksi pemilihan putra putri kampus pada STMIK Palangkaraya. Sistem yang dibuat bertujuan sebagai alat bantu dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, dengan menggunakan metode Bayes dan implementasi sistem menggunakan bahasa pemograman Microsoft Visual Basic dan Microsoft Acces. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi metode pengumpulan data (observasi, wawancara, keperpustakaan) dan metode analisa sistem menggunakan analisis PIECES. Hasil dari sistem pendukung keputusan seleksi pemilihan putra putri kampus pada STMIK Palangkaraya, berdasarkan dari hasil responden didapatkan hasil yang memuaskan, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem seleksi pemilihan putra putri kampus layak untuk digunakan dan sistem dapat berkerja dengan baik, sebagai alat bantu atau alat pertimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pada saat ini semakin pesat dan canggih dalam bidang komputer maupun di bidang lainnya, sehingga mengharuskan manusia untuk menguasai ataupun mengerti cara kerja dan penggunaan teknologi tersebut dengan adanya teknologi maka dapat membuat manusia dapat mudah dan cepat dalam memperoleh informasi dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi maka diperlukan manajemen yang tepat.oleh karena itu aplikasi manajemen surat berbasis arsitektur client server ini dapat membantu pihak Dinas energi dan sumber daya mineral lebih baik kedepan.  Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi metode pengumpulan data (observasi, kepustakaan ,dokumentasi , dan wawancara) dan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak menggunakan metodologi pengembangan Prototype. Analisa sistem menggunakan metode analisis pieces. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi yaitu adalah Visual Studio Code. Dari hasil pengujian sistem menggunakan metode Black-Box didapatkan hasil yang sesuai.

Abstract

Watakham Studio, a music studio operating in Palangka Raya, currently manages rental data manually, which can lead to recording errors, service delays, and difficulties in data archiving. This research aims to design and develop a music studio rental information system using the Waterfall method. This method is chosen due to its systematic approach, consisting of the following phases: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The developed information system focuses on the digital management of rental schedules, customer data, and transaction reports. A case study was conducted directly at Watakham Studio to ensure the system meets the real needs of users. The implementation results show that the system can accelerate operational processes, reduce the risk of errors, and improve service efficiency. By applying the Waterfall method, the developed information system operates according to the initial design and has a positive impact on studio management.
