Abstract

This study aims to validate the essential antecedents of brand image enhancement in the digital era, based on a schematic theory. This study involved 400 respondents from four capital cities in Java, Indonesia, which comprise Surabaya, Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta, based on a quota sampling technique. The findings indicate that the quality of websites and social media sites may have no direct effects on brand image; any effects are transmitted through a serial mediation of brand awareness and E-WOM. Explicitly, the effect of a website’s quality on brand image is fully mediated, while social media’s quality effect on brand image is partially mediated through brand awareness and E-WOM. This study extends the current literature related to SMEs’ brand image. Also, this study offers practical recommendations for several stakeholders interested in empowering SMEs, including the government, entrepreneurship-based universities, and the SMEs themselves, who are all seeking strategies to enhance brand image while utilizing digital platforms such as social media and websites.

Abstract

This study examines four factors that are suspected to be causally influential on organizational commitment of Nahdlatul Ulama University employees, Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an influence of organizational culture, Islamic Leadership and Islamic Work Ethic on organizational commitment of the employees of Nahdlatul Ulama University, Surabaya. with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population of this study was all employees of the University of Nahdlatul Ulama, Surabaya, which consisted of 227 lecturers and 135 education staff and was determined to be the sample with the formula from green as many as 122 people. Data collection used a questionnaire consisting of 69 questions which were previously tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique in this study used Partial least squares (PLS). The results showed that organizational culture, Islamic Leadership, Islamic Work Ethic had a direct and significant positive effect on organizational commitment. organizational culture and Islamic Leadership have a direct and significant positive effect on job satisfaction as well. however, Islamic Works Ethic has an effect on job satisfaction but not significantly. Job satisfaction mediates the relationship between organizational culture and Islamic learning on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of the relationship between Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Background – How to satisfy and attract customer intention is very crucial for supporting business performance. Now days, not only the quality of foods and product benefits but also the technology online supporting are very important. Pizza Hut one of a big restaurant have implemented online applications for improve it’s services. So, it’s very important to examine the impact of their online service attributes on Consumer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intentions. Aim – This study aims to examine the effect of Electronic Service Quality, Food Quality, Perceived Benefits, Perceived of Easiness on Customer Satisfaction and Intention to Repurchase Pizza Hut product in Surabaya. Design / Methodology / Approach –Type of this research is quantitative with survey method by distributed questionnaires. 150 respondents involved in this research which selected by purposive sampling with criteria such as consumer often buy product by using online services and lives in Surabaya. Structural Equation Modelling Smart-PLS program was used for analyzing data. Findings – Electronic Service Quality, Food Quality, Perceived Benefits and Perceived Ease of Use effect significantly toward Customer Satisfaction. Electronic Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction effect significantly on Repurchase Intention. Food Quality, Perceived Benefits and Perceived Ease to Use have no significant effect on Repurchase Intention. Conclusion - 9 hypotheses were proposed to see the relationship between variables 3 of which were rejected, namely Food Quality, Perceived Benefits, Perceived Convenience had no significant effect on Repurchase Intentions Research implication – Customer satisfaction is paramount and it can be driven through keeping Electronic Service Quality, Food Quality, Perceived Benefits and Perceived Ease of Use Limitations – this research was not analyzed further this effect of attributes of online application implementation the consumers based on digital literacy

Abstract

Due to the decreasing of shariah financial business performance, wellbeing of employees come a big problem during pandemic. How to improve wellbeing from psychological perspective, especially from employee engagement, spirituality at work and job characteristics are important to be researched. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of workplace spirituality and job characteristics on employee engagement and their impact on the wellbeing of millennial employees in Islamic financial institutions. This research is applied research by survey design. Questionnaire was used for collecting data and distributed by Google Form. Data was analyzed by Partial Least Square. The results of this study indicate that workplace spirituality and job characteristics have a positive effect on employee engagement, and employee engagement has significant influence towards employee wellbeing

Abstract

This study was conducted to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of motivation, discipline, environment on employee performance and job satisfaction at the Surabaya City Social Service. This research uses a quantitative approach. This study uses purposive sampling technique which means sampling techniques for specific purposes oriented to the population and specific objectives. The sample in this study were employees of the Surabaya City Social Service. The data processing analysis tool method in this study uses SEM SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study are H1 rejected, H2 accepted, H3 accepted, H4 rejected, H5 rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the strength of brand image and store atmosphere in influencing consumer decision making and satisfaction. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The samples in this study were 105 customers at the Aiola Eatery Surabaya restaurant. Using the Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis technique, the results show that both brand image and store atmosphere are proven to influence decision making and consumer satisfaction. The implication is that it is important for restaurant management to develop a brand image and create a comfortable atmosphere that can influence consumers to make buying decisions and be satisfied with the services provided.

Abstract

Salah satu perusahaan asuransi swasta di jawa timur saat ini disebut sedang mengalami guncangan akibat persaingan dalam industry yang mengalami perubahan. Untuk itu, penguatan Sumber Daya Manusia Perusahaan Asuransi perlu untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji “Pengaruh Spiritualitas Dan Iklim Organisasi Terhadap Keterikatan Karyawan Dan Dampaknya Pada Kesejahteraan Karyawan Di Perusahaan Swasta Di Jawa Timur. Sampel penelitian saat ini adalah 50 karyawan yang berstatus aktif bekerja di perusahaan swasta di Jawa Timur dengan menggunakan teknik judgment sampling. Analisa data menggunakan Structural Equation Model dengan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) Spiritualitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keterikatan Karyawan perusahaan Di Jawa Timur. Semakin tinggi Spiritualitas maka semakin tinggi pula Keterikatan Karyawan perusahaan di Surabaya. 2) Iklim Organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keterikatan Karyawan perusahaan Di Jawa Timur. Semakin tinggi Iklim Organisasi maka semakin tinggi pula Keterikatan Karyawan perusahaan di Jawa Timur. 3) Keterikatan Karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kesejahateraan Karyawan perusahaan Di Jawa Timur. Semakin tinggi Keterikatan Karyawan maka semakin tinggi pula Kesejahteraan Karyawan perusahaan di Jawa Timur.

Abstract

Perilaku Kewargaan Organisasi (PKO) adalah perilaku positif yang dapat membantu perusahaan mencapai kinerja bisnis yang stabil atau jangka Panjang. Perusahaan harus meningkatkan PKO dengan membuat lingkungan yang mendukung. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis hubunganantara spiritualitas dan lingkungan kerja padaketerikatan karyawan dan dampaknya pada perilaku kewargaan organisasipada karyawan Lembaga keuangan syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan survey untuk mengumpulkan data. Penelitian melibatkan 70 responden dari lembaga keuangan syariah di jawa timur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa spiritualitas dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan karyawan. Di samping itu keterikatan karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi pada Karyawan Lembaga keuangan syariah.

Abstract

Many research focus on the effect of recruitment and placement on employee performance, but less of them focus for examining the role of organizational culture as mediator for stimulating employee performance. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of recruitment, placement, and organizational culture on employee performance at the Daily newspaper Bhirawa Surabaya Company. In this research also examine the role of organizational cultue as the mediator in that relationship on both variables on employee performance. The research was conducted by using a survey design with sensus for collecting data. Questionnaires which is designed by Likert scale were used to collect data. Data was analyzed with Partial Least Square. The results of this study indicate that recruitment has no positive effect on employee performance, placement has no positive effect on employee performance, organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance and organizational culture mediates the effect of recruitment on the employee’s performance of daily newspaper Bhirawa Surabaya. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan terhadap kreativitas dan peran psychological security sebagai intervening ethical leadership pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Berdasarkan metode pengumpulan data, penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode survei karena penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Variabel yang dipilih untuk diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah Tanggung Jawab Sosial, Kreativitas, Keamanan Psikologis, Kepemimpinan yang Beretika. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi penelitian adalah pegawai di Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya yang terdiri dari 70 responden. Sehingga teknik pengambilan sampel ini adalah sensus. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan menggunakan program software Warp PLS. kesimpulan pada penelitian Corporate Social Responsibility berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keamanan Psikologis Pegawai dan Corporate Social Responsibility berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kreativitas Pegawai namun Keamanan Psikologis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kreativitas Pegawai serta Kepemimpinan Etis memediasi pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility terhadap Keamanan Psikologis pada pegawai.
