Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and transformational leadership on teacher performance through motivation as an intervening variable at the Al Baitul Amien Education Institute, Jember. The population in this study were all teachers at the Al Baitul Amien educational institution, while the sample was taken by proportional sampling. The analytical method used is path analysis (Path Analysis) and also the Sobel test to see the role of the motivational variable as an intervening variable. The results of the study show that there is a direct effect of compensation and transformational leadership on teacher work motivation and performance. Work motivation affects performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Islamic work ethics and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior both directly and through organizational commitment. The research was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. This type of research is included in the type of quantitative research. The sample used was 4 4 respondents with a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis method used is the Partial Least Square (PLS) Data Analysis method. The research results show that there is an influence between Islamic Work Ethics on Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. There is also an influence between Job Satisfaction on both Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Organizational Commitment is not able to act as a mediation linking Islamic Work Ethics to Organizational Citizenship Behavior, but it can act as a mediation linking the influence of Job Satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Organizational Commitment influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

UKM Satwa Sehat Karimata, di jalan Karimata Jember berdiri sejak tahun 2021. Usaha yang oleh Drh. Agung Triraharja ini mulai berkembang cukup baik. Praktek Dokter hewan telah berlangsung melewati tantangan dan peluang, dan kemauan untuk survive dan berkelanjutan, Program pendampingan praktis menjadi suatu hal yang diperlukan sebagai bentuk kolaborasi antara praktisi usaha dengan akademisi. Belum terselenggaranya pengelolaan usaha mandiri yang profitable dan bebas riba, serta taat pajak. Pendampingan melalui kolaborasi prktis dg akademisi. Gerai yang ada sebagai lokasi petshop merupakan lahan yang disewa per 2 tahunan meskipun dapat diperbaharui secara berkala. Manajemen usaha petshop masih memerlukan peningkatan pelayanan dan memperbaiki/membantu fasilitas layanan melalui penyiapan SDM. Rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan agar trampil dan jujur, Membangun perilaku disiplin dan ramah, Kompensasi (reward) yang memadai, punishment masih perlu dibenahi lebih lanjut, penataan ulang Lay out/ tata letak, perlu renovasi atau pengadaan Display, dan rak barang dagangan, Stok barang dagangan relative terbatas menyesuaikan dengan trend permintaan dan kebutuhan. Kandang opsional belum cukup proposional, meja dan kursi terbatas.

Abstract

Kasiyan Timur Village, Puger District, is one of the villages that is very close to the center of the fish auction. In Kasiyan Timur Village, there is a group of housewives who make besek fish who share their problems with us. Their four problems. 1. The number of production results that do not meet expectations, in quantity cannot meet the daily target 2. Product quality is fragile and not precise. 3. Stagnant from scientific development, especially from the production side. 4. Want broader marketing reach. The solution we provide for this problem is in the form of training in marketing management and production management with the following main topics: increasing productivity with modern production tools towards production quantities that meet expectations. Utilization of modern production tools to produce quality products. Utilizing technology to increase knowledge towards intelligent human resources. Personal selling by implementing pick-up balls and utilizing social media as a marketing tool. Results of community service activities: 1. Able to read marketing opportunities via Facebook and Instagram. 2. Be more open with various knowledge in producing a product, the point is that they are currently very much utilizing YouTube and Google and social media in order to gain knowledge to facilitate their business, especially the science of producing. Already know and have bought a bamboo splitter at Tokopedia. It has been able to increase the quantity of production and maintain its quality, of course, because it has implemented production tools that are quite modern and make it very easy

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze employee competency and how to improve employee competency at the Banyuwangi Regency Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises and Trade Department. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach where data will be analyzed descriptively originating from interviews, notes and the author's observations. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The data analysis approach in this research uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of this research includes data credibility, dependability and confirmability. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the competency of employees at the Banyuwangi Regency Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises and Trade Service is good according to their expertise. This can be seen from the suitability of work areas to competencies, proof of competency, support for increasing competency, and overall, the human resource management system in this service is effective in creating good employee performance, contributing to increasing organizational effectiveness. The way to improve employee competency at the Banyuwangi Regency Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises and Trade Department is by providing coaching, evaluating and assessing performance, as well as giving rewards to employees who excel. This holistic approach which includes coaching, evaluation and providing rewards will increase employee competency effectively and efficiently, support human resource development and strengthen the overall performance of the organization.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas karyawan Satwa Sehat Pet Shop dalam menggunakan aplikasi manajemen kesehatan hewan, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas pelayanan kepada pelanggan. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pembelajaran teori dalam kelas serta praktek langsung (on-the-job training) untuk memastikan pemahaman dan penerapan aplikasi secara efektif di lapangan. Data evaluasi dikumpulkan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dan observasi kinerja karyawan selama dan setelah pelatihan. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan dalam penggunaan aplikasi, terutama dalam fitur dasar terkait pengelolaan data kesehatan hewan dan transaksi pelanggan. Namun, beberapa karyawan masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai fitur aplikasi yang lebih kompleks, yang menunjukkan perlunya pelatihan lanjutan. Program pelatihan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan efisiensi operasional Satwa Sehat Pet Shop dan kepuasan pelanggan. Untuk hasil yang lebih optimal, disarankan agar pelatihan tambahan yang lebih mendalam dilakukan serta pendampingan teknis berkelanjutan diberikan untuk mengatasi tantangan penggunaan fitur lanjutan aplikasi.

Abstract

Pendampingan manajemen usaha praktis dan adaptif pada PKM Satwa Sehat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja Satwa Sehat Petshop Karimata di Jember, Jawa Timur, melalui pendekatan kolaboratif antara praktisi usaha dan akademisi. Analisis situasi menunjukkan adanya potensi pasar yang besar di Kota Jember, dengan tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap hewan peliharaan. Namun, mitra usaha menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, termasuk pengelolaan persediaan, manajemen keuangan, dan pemasaran yang belum optimal. Tim pengabdian Institut Teknologi dan Sains Mandala melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan mitra untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan merumuskan solusi. Program pendampingan yang dirancang meliputi pengelolaan persediaan berbasis aplikasi, pelatihan manajemen keuangan, dan penguatan sumber daya manusia. Selain itu, pendekatan pemasaran digital juga diterapkan untuk meningkatkan brand awareness. Diharapkan, dengan implementasi solusi tersebut, Satwa Sehat Petshop Karimata dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, memperkuat posisi pasar, dan mencapai keberlanjutan usaha yang lebih baik, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kesejahteraan hewan peliharaan di masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedisiplinan, minat, motivasi, dan dukungan orang tua terhadap kompetensi peserta pelatihan di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Balai Latihan Kerja (UPT BLK) Situbondo. Kompetensi dimaknai sebagai kombinasi pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap kerja peserta pelatihan sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi sekaligus sampel berjumlah 64 peserta pelatihan yang mengikuti program pada Mei–Juni 2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kedisiplinan, minat, motivasi, dan dukungan orang tua masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi peserta pelatihan. Secara simultan, keempat variabel bebas tersebut juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi peserta. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya membangun lingkungan pelatihan yang mendukung, dengan memperhatikan faktor internal peserta serta peran keluarga. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan kebijakan pelatihan kerja serta rujukan akademik untuk studi-studi lanjutan terkait kompetensi di lembaga pelatihan nonformal
