Abstract

Background: Soybean contain antioxidants which have hepatoprotective effect; one of them is isoflavone. Soybean powder has the highest isoflavone among soybean products. This research aims to prove that the use of soybean powder can prevent damage of the histological structure of the mices liver cells induced by used cooking oil. Methods: This study was an experimental laboratory with a post-test only control group design. Twenty eight Swiss Webster male mice were divided into 4 groups. Negative control group (KN) was given distilled water, the positive control (KP) was given 0.06 ml/ 20 g BW used cooking oil, dose 1 (KD1) was given soybean powder 5.6 mg/ 20 g BW and used cooking oil, and dose 2 (KD2) was given soybean powder 11.2 mg/ 20 g BW and used cooking oil. Soybean powder was given for 14 days, while the used cooking oil was given orally on 8th-14th day. On the 15th day, mice were sacrificed, taken their liver, and made ??preparations with HE staining. Liver cell damage was observed by counting the number of cells with pyknosis, karyorheksis, and karyolysis of 100 cells in liver centrolobular zone. Data were analyzed by statistical tests One-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variant) (? = 0.05). Results: The highest number of liver cells damage is on KP, followed by KD1, KD2, and at least on KN. Results of One-way ANOVA test showed significant differences among the four groups with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Results of Post Hoc Test of Multiple Comparasions using LSD test also showed significant differences between KN-KP, KN-KD1, KD2-KN, KP-KD1, KD2-KP, KD1-KD2 with respectively p = 0.000 (p < 0, 05). Conclusion: Soybean powder can prevent damage of the histological structure of the mices liver cells induced by used cooking oil. Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease due to decreased insulin production in pancreatic cells, or the body experiences insulin ineffectiveness. Based on data from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), in 2013 – 2017 there was an increase in the number of people with DM from 10.3 million to 16.7 million in 2045. This type of research is an observational analytic with a cross sectional method using a total sampling of 30 patient samples. Type 2 DM that meets the inclusion criteria. Data collection begins in February 2022 until it is completed. The data used are primary data in the form of direct examination. Data were evaluated by chi square test. The research sample was 30 patients with type 2 diabetes with an HbA1c value of 7%, namely 23 patients (76.3%), for an HbA1c value <7%, as many as 7 patients (23.3%) and total cholesterol levels 200mg/dl. namely as many as 20 patients (66.7%), for total cholesterol levels <200mg/dl as many as 10 patients (33.3%). The results of the chi square correlation obtained a value of p = 0.033, because the value of p = 0.033 <0.05 so it can be stated that Ha is accepted and Ho is declared rejected or there is a significant correlation, with p = 0.033 it can be interpreted that the strength of the correlation is positive between the HbA1c value and cholesterol levels. total in patients with type 2 diabetes. There was a significant correlation between the value of HbA1c and total cholesterol levels in patients with type 2 diabetes with p-value = 0.033.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menceritakan kembali pada siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran audio visual. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah dasar kecamatan Cimahi Utara Kota Cimahi. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dari Taggart tahun 1980 dengan empat siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan menceritakan kembali setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran audio visual. Implementasi teknik ini memberikan siswa pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan menyenangkan, serta membantu mereka dalam kemampuan menyimak teks cerita pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menceritakan kembali pada siswa kelas 4 dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.
