Abstract

The paddy chaff is a waste of paddy hulling, and it contains dominant silica which is as big as 93 % and almost has the same contain of silica that exist on micro-silica of factory brand. With its character, if it mixed into concrete mixture, it will fix the characteristic of concrete. In this research, the ash of paddy chaff is added into the mix of normal concrete, C- 225 Kg / Cm2, with the variation of the ashes chaff 0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, and 10%, heavy of percentage of the ashes, it was taken based of the weight of cement. The effect of this research is to know the pressing strong point of concrete, is reached from the chaff ash mixture paddy in concrete k 225 kg / cm.The design of concretes used the standard of SK.SNI.T-15-1990-03 that default in Indonesia. The object of the test, that is made for each one ash of percentage increase chaff is as much 3 samples, with cylinders printed of diameter is about 15 cm and tall is about 30 cm.

Abstract

Concrete mix designed to determine the composition of the concrete materials. Basically the concrete mix design is intended to produce a composition with a minimum use of materials with a fixed maximum force to consider the standard criteria of the quality of concrete and economical when viewed from the aspect of the overall cost. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of the design (theoretically) a mixture of concrete plans fc '22.5 MPa for 1 m3 using the Department of Environment (DoE) and the methods of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), of both methods is theoretically known to use materials optimal material (economic).Stages in the concrete mix design fc '22.5 MPa were: (1) sieving fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, (2) examination of specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, (3) examination of the contents of an aggregate weight and (4) examination mud content by using the same material that is aggregated from the Tanjung Belit quary Rokan Hulu regency.

Abstract

Project team is the one of the substance structures of construction industry to execute a project. Project team has had the unique characters. Project team’s structure organization is used in short time period of the project. Project team to consist of the men who have competent in their knowledge and work relationship. Effectively and efficiency of project teamwork are requirement of project’s success in the different environment. There are any factors would influence the performance of the project team. This research aims to identify influence factors of performance project team and to analyze correlation of those factors towards project’s succes. The instrument of this research was adopted from Bubshait and Farooq articles as to Team Building and Project Success. This study was explored by using quistionnaire through project managers, site managers, and project’s staff from contractors, consultants, and the owners in Pekanbaru, Pelalawan, and Pasir Pengaraian. The Coefficient of Concordance Kendall and the Pearson’s correlation are used to analyze this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the results of the design (theoretical) mix concrete plan fc' of 22.5 MPa for 1 m3 using the Department of Environment (DoE) and the method of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), of both methods will be known theoretically - use of materials optimal material (economical). Stages in the concrete mix design fc ' of 22.5 MPa are : (1) sieve analysis of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, (2) examination of specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, (3) a weight check aggregate content and (4) examination of sludge levels using the same material that is derived from the aggregate quary Tanjung district of Rokan Hulu. Berdasarkan complicated the analysis and discussion concluded that the concrete mix design method of ACI produces a mixture proportion of material that is relatively less when compared to using DoE methods. This means that in practice the design of concrete mix ACI method is more economical in terms of the use of materials on using DoE methods.
