Abstract

Pembelajaran daring memberikan tantangan baru untuk mahasiswa maupun dosen. Adaptasi pembelajaran lama ke pembelajaran dengan gaya baru cenderung masih memakai teknik pengajaran konvensional yang didigitalisasi. Pada saat yang sama segala aspek pembelajaran seperti kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor dalam melaksanakan maupun menilai perlu dikonversi dengan gaya baru sesuai dengan perkembangan masa. Teknik pengajaran lama pembelajaran pra pandemi dinilai membosankan, kurang menarik, dan kesulitan fokus dalam ruang maya. Hal tersebut terjadi juga di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia IKIP Siliwangi. Mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan dalam survei bahwa pembelajaran dirasa membosankan, sementara mata kuliah tersebut perlu praktik untuk bekal di lapangan sehingga peneliti mencari alternatif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan, minat belajar, dan insight baru dalam pembelajaran pada mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode game based learning berbantuan platform Gather Town. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data mengalami peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus dengan menunjukan hasil akhir rata-rata 90 dalam kategori sangat baik. Data menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap keaktifan mahasiswa yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode game based learning berbantuan gather town efektif meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa memirsa

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran menulis, banyak siswa yang merasa kesulitan dalam menyusun kalimat, menggunakan tanda baca dan menggunakan (EYD) pada penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia ke dalam tulisannya. Selain itu, guru masih menggunakan metode tradisional sehingga pembelajaran kurang efektif, kurang kondusif dan kurang menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menerapkan model concept sentence dalam pembelajaran menulis teks persuasi. Penelitian berikut bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai kemampuan siswa terhadap menulis teks persuasi menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence. Penelitian berikut menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yakni menggambarkan hasil analisis mendalam dari seorang peneliti. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel dari 30 siswa kelas VIII B dan 30 siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Margahayu. Hasil kemampuan siswa kelas VIII B terhadap menulis teks persuasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 100% dari 30 siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi dan masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik sedangkan sampel dari siswa kelas VIII C terhadap menulis teks persuasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 100% dari 30 siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi dan masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Kemampuan siswa kelas VIII B meraih skor dengan rata-rata 88 dan dikategorikan sangat baik sedangkan kemampuan siswa kelas VIII C meraih skor rata-rata 91 dan dikategorikan sangat baik. Maka, model pembelajaran concept sentence efektif dan cocok digunakan pada proses pembelajaran menulis teks persuasi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties experienced by students in writing descriptive texts. Meanwhile, the State of Indonesia was exposed to the coronavirus, which affected all sectors and one of them was Education. So learning is required online to prevent the transmission of the virus. Google Classroom is a free web service from Google to provide online learning. Google Classroom can be used for teachers and students using mobile phones or laptops wherever they are. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The sample that the writer examines is class VIII with a total of 22 students. According to the data obtained, learning to write descriptive text online with the help of Google Classroom can motivate students, can reduce the time to understand the material and they dare to express opinions.

Abstract

The idea of ​​this research was initiated by the fact that there are still many students who have difficulty determining ideas and ideas in producing a review text by selecting the structure and language of the text. The Project-Based Learning learning model is an alternative solution to the learner-centred learning model, namely a learning model that uses projects or activities as a learning tool to achieve attitude, knowledge and skill competencies. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the learning process and the impact of the student's ability to write review texts. The purpose of the research is to determine the ability to write a review text of students using the Project-Based Learning learning model assisted by Wattpad. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which only has one cycle of processing, data collection and data processing. The results showed that nineteen students got a high score, six students got an adequate score, and one student got a low score. The results of the study can be said that using the Project-Based Learning model can positively affect the learning process and improve students' skills in writing review texts.

Abstract

News text learning is studied at the junior high school education level which conveys news and its delivery. However, news text learning activities are still carried out conventionally so innovation is needed in learning activities. One of them is by using audio-visual based teaching materials in news text writing activities. Audio visual media is an intermediary or display used by teachers in teaching and learning activities where the material is absorbed through sight (images) and hearing (sound). With audio-visual learning media on news text writing skills, it can make students more interested and enthusiastic in learning. News is a report of events published or broadcast in the mass media in the form of facts or ideas, consisting of the 5W+1H elements, and containing news values ​​or journalistic values. The aim of this research is to determine students' responses to the application of audio-visual based teaching materials in news text writing activities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known from the results of the questionnaire that the average obtained is 80.33% in the good category. This means that it can be concluded that students respond well to the use of audio-visual teaching materials in news text writing skills.

Abstract

The background this research is based on fun learning that will be seen from students during the learning process. It is supported by the use of learning methods that can make students active in learning. This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe analyze the response of students to the use of brainstorming method in learning drama text. The method in this study uses descriptive qualitative. The instrument used is a questionnaire containing 20 statement items. There are five indicators with ten positive statements and ten negative statements. The sample in this study was obtained from class VIII students at Bhakti Mulya Junior High School totaling 30 people. The results of the research on the indicator of the ease of students in understanding the material obtained an average percentage of 72.64%, the indicator of student learning methods obtained an average percentage of 78.43%, the indicator of learning methods making students active in learning obtained an average percentage of 74.63%, the indicator of students writing skills obtained an average percentage of 73%, the indicator of the usefulness felt by students obtained an average percentage of 77.37%. Based on these five indicators, an average score of 75.2% was obtained, indicating that students responses to the use of brainstorming methods in text learning were categorized as strong in each indicator. Students feel the benefits of using the brainstorming method in learning drama texts so that it makes it easier for students to understand the material, motivates students, students are active in the learning process and skilled in writing.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has not yet ended, has an impact on the implementation of learning, which still applies the learning process from home for several areas that are still at level 3. Therefore, teachers must continue to improve their abilities and creativity in managing an interesting learning process. Integrating technological advances by utilizing them in learning, especially for teachers in designing teaching materials or learning media that are multimedia and interactive is urgently needed. Many platforms or applications that can be utilized. One such application is Assembelr Edu. The results of initial observations show that not all teachers use the application in the learning process. This is due to limited information. Thus, a training is needed for teachers to be better prepared in carrying out distance learning. This PKM activity is in collaboration with partners, in this case SMP Kartika XIX-1 Bandung in the form of training and guidance on making interactive multimedia with the help of the Assemblr Edu application. This training activity was carried out by providing first, socialization and delivery of material. Second, direct training through mentoring and instructor guidance in making interactive multimedia with the help of the Assemblr Edu application. Third, the teacher simulates the multimedia that has been made in front of the other participants. In addition, feedback and follow-up plans will be carried out to find out the students' responses to the multimedia.
