Abstract

The research aimed to measure the rate of cooperative members’ satisfaction on the cooperative service, to determine the rate of members’ participation in the annual member meeting, payment of obligatory savings, and the use of business service as well as to analyze the factors influencing the member participation in the annual member meeting and the use of business service. The research method was a survey. The data were analysed through method of CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), descriptive quantitative analysis, and logistic regression. The number of samples was 53 cooperative members. The research found that the rate of cooperative members’ satisfaction fell into very satisfied category, the rate of participation in the annual member meeting was categorized into low category, the rate of participation in paying the obligatory savings was categorized into high category, the rate of participation in utilizing the business service was categorized into low category. The factors influencing the rate of cooperative members’ participation in the annual member meeting and utilizing the business service were the family members and non-formal education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the service attributes of the Kentucky fried chicken (KFC) fast food restaurant in Pringsewu Regency that need to be retained and upgraded their performance.  This study used a survey method and was conducted by interviewing 22 types of attributes and 60 consumers using a questionnaire.  Determination of the sample is done by probabilistic sampling technique and the analytical method uses questionnaire analysis using Validity Test, Reliability Test, and data analysis using Important Performance Analysis (IPA).  Each attribute is assessed by the level of importance and performance of consumers using a Likert scale of 1-7.  The results of the importance and performance scores of each attribute are then processed and entered into a Cartesian diagram which is divided into four quadrants.  This study shows that of the 22 attributes studied, 13 types of attributes are considered essential and 9 attributes are considered to have satisfactory performance.  The types of performance attributes that need to be retained are the taste of food, speed of service, cleanliness of the premises, employee friendliness, security, employee understanding of the product, the comfort of the premises, availability of parking spaces, and availability of seats.  The attributes that must be upgraded in-service performance are price, toilet cleanliness, availability of a prayer room, and availability of air conditioning.   Keywords: Attributes, performance, important performance analysis (IPA)

Abstract

Coffee consumption has now become a lifestyle, especially among the younger generation. This can be seen from the number of coffee shop businesses. More and more coffee shopbusinesses make competition tougher. There are many ways that can be done to maintain theexistence of coffee shops, one of which is by improving the quality of service. This researchaims to identify service attributes that are considered important and satisfy consumers andservice attributes need to be maintained and improved by coffee shops. Samples were takenfrom the population of coffee shop visitors who were selected in stages by drawing tablenumbers. The number of samples as many as 70 respondents spread over the two coffee shops.Data collection was carried out from August to September 2020. Questionnaire scores wereanalyzed using validity and reliability tests.The analytical method used is ImportancePerformance Analysis (IPA). The results showed that the service attributes consideredimportant by Dijou Coffeebar consumers were 17 attributes, Café Kiyo 18 attributes.Attributes whose performance was considered satisfactory by Dijou Coffeebar consumerswere 12 attributes, Café Kiyo 16 attributes. Attributes whose performance quality must bemaintained Dijou Coffeebar and Café Kiyo have several similarities, taste, price, tasteconsistency, accuracy in recording menus, security, product guarantees, cleanliness,employee courtesy, ease of payment, convenience of place and availability of tables & chairs.A different attribute at Dijou Coffeebar is the availability of parking spaces. At Café Kiyo,menu variations, speed of service, concern for customers, responsiveness to criticism &suggestions and the availability of parking spaces. Attributes whose performance qualityneeds to be improved at Dijou Coffeebar are speed of service, concern for customers,responsiveness to criticism and suggestions, availability of toilets and wifi. At Café Kiyo,availability of wifi and parking spaces.

Abstract

Kabupaten Pesawaran sebagai salah satu daerah yang melakukan pembangunan dalam upaya meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan UMKM. Pelaku UMKM Kabupaten Pesawaran saat ini masih belum mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi sebagai salah satu sarana penjualan produk. Hal ini perlu diantisipasi agar pelaku UMKM mampu bersaing. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat pelaku UMKM dalam penggunaan teknologi adalah dengan melaksanakan pelatihan digital. Pelaksanaan pelatihan yang akan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pelaku UMKM handycraft di Kabupaten Pesawaran memiliki beberapa tahapan antara lain sosialisasi, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa 83% peserta pelatihan merasa kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan sangat bermanfaat sedangkan 17% lainnya berpendapat bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat, sehingga tidak ada peserta pelatihan yang tidak merasakan kebermanfaatan kegiatan yang dilakukan. Sebanyak 75% peserta pelatihan memiliki pengetahuan yang sedikit sebelum adanya pelatihan, sedangkan 25% lainnya dikategorikan cukup berpengetahuan. Setelah adanya kegiatan pelatihan, pengetahuan peserta yang tergolong sangat tinggi yaitu 50% sedangkan 50% lainnya dikategorikan cukup berpengetahuan.

Abstract

Pekon Bulurejo merupakan salah satu desa penghasil beras yang berada di Kecamatan Gadingrejo, Kabupaten Pringsewu. Masyarakat di Pekon Bulurejo 90 persen berusaha tani padi dengan luas pekon sebesar 416 ha, saat ini lahan yang ditanami padi hampir setengah dari keseluruhan luas pekon. Pekon Bulurejo berpotensi sebagai penghasil limbah jerami terbesar di Kecamatan Gadingrejo. Selama ini limbah jerami belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik, setelah panen limbah jerami dibakar atau dibiarkan di tepi lahan sehingga mengurangi luas tanam lahan dan menjadi tempat berkembangbiaknya tikus serta hama penyakit lainnya. Pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan menambah wawasan petani dalam pembuatan kompos jerami. Tahap dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat meliputi survei, persiapan serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan bahwa secara rata-rata kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pendampingan di Pekon Bulurejo, Kecamatan Gadingrejo, Kabupaten Pringsewu mengalami peningkatan dari 48,8 menjadi 86,5. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan berhasil dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan petani dalam memanfaatkan limbah padi sebesar 77,25 %.

Abstract

Corn is a strategic commodity in the Indonesian economy because corn is for either food or feed. As an important agricultural commodity, the corn production is highly targeted by the Indonesian government, i.e. 24.70 million tons in 2019 or 125% of the 2015 corn production. This target is better stochastically forecasted that its result is an interval in a certain probability level. Therefore, the goal of this research is to stochastically forecast the corn production. The data are time series and obtained from the FAO and the Indonesian Central Bureau Statistics. The data is analyzed by econometrics. The result showed that the corn production would be 18.93 million tons in 2019 with its 95% confidence interval between 17.09 million tons and 20.76 million tons.Key words: corn, forecast, production, stochastic

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the attributes that consumers value most at Mbok.Jum Way Halim Restaurant, Bandar Lampung City. There are various attributes that can be held in a restaurant. Each attribute that is held certainly costs money, if all the attributes are considered, then the restaurant will spend a lot of money. The restaurant must know what attributes are prioritized that are adjusted to what is considered important by consumers. Therefore, this research was done to determine what attributes buyers deem crucial and what attributes need to be preserved to enhance performance. This study employed a survey methodology and involved questionnaire interviews with 60 participants. Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) has been employed as the analytical technique. The study's findings demonstrated that, of the 20 attributes considered, 13 attributes are regarded as being crucial and 7 attributes that perform satisfactory. Attributes that must be preserved in their performance are the taste of the food, the size per serving, the friendliness and courtesy of the waiters, the accuracy of the presentation, the cleanliness of the tableware, the availability of parking space and the available alternatives for seating. The performance attributes that require improvement include price, the readiness of waiters to respond to consumers’ complaints, service speed, facility cleanliness, availability of water in the sink, and cleanliness of the toilet.  Key words: Attributes, important performance analysis (IPA), performance, restaurant

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of Indonesian people. In 2014, its production was less than its need including its losses. Therefore, during 2015-2020, in order to increase the production through increasing its yield and its cropping intensity, the Ministry of Agriculture had been implementing the program of Upaya Khusus, called Upsus. The Upsus could be success if the farmers who participated in this program spent less the rice standard cost and obtained bigger profit. The question was whether the Upsus could increase yield, decrease standard cost and increase profit. Accordingly, the objective of this study was to answer this question. There were 30 respondents chosen by the simple random sampling method from six villages of three subdistricts. Each respondent was interviewed his farming budget in four seasons, i.e. rainy season 2014/2015, dry season 2015, rainy season 2017/2018, and dry season 2018. Consequently, the number of observation was 120. The data farming budget were used for getting the three following variables, i.e. yield (ton/ha), production standard cost (Rp/kg), and profit (Rp million/ha). The data were analyzed by using three multiple regression models. This study revealed that the Upsus was statistically significant on increasing its yield, decreasing its standard cost and increasing its profit. By implementing the Upsus, the increment in yield and profit of rice farming were 3 percent and 30 percent, respectively. The decrease in standard cost was 6 percent. The average yield, the standard cost and the profit of rice farming in Upsus were as follows 5,20 ton/ha, Rp4.154,-/kg and Rp6,82 million/haKeywords: profit, standard cost, upsus, yield

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze the revenue and the standard cost of the rice farm in Way Seputih Watershed, the Province of Lampung. The respondents were randomly chosen. The data of the rice farm were collected by interviewing rice farmers respondents in the Rainy Season (RS) 2016/2017 and the Dry Season (DS) 2017. Data were analyzed by using the economic and financial analysis. The average productivities were 5.90 ton/ha in RS 2016/2017 and 5.93 ton/ha in DS 2017. The average net revenues over the cash cost were IDR18.63 million/ha in RS 2016/2017 and IDR18.64 million/ha in DS 2017. The average net revenues over the total cost were IDR12.05 million/ha in RS 2016/2017 and IDR12.54 million/ha in DS 2017. The average standard cost for producing rice was IDR4,970/kg and its 95% confidence interval was IDR3,821/kg – IDR6,119/kg paddy.Key words: confidence interval, revenue, rice farm, standard cost

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze the business, the added-value, and employment of the tempeh agroindustry in Bandar Lampung. This study is in conducted in three production centers, i.e. Gunung Sulah, Sawah Brebes, and Kedamaian. Respondents were 60 randomly chosen tempeh home industry owners. The data were analyzed using financial analysis and the added-value analysis. The average net revenue over its cash cost was Rp9.45 million/month. The average net revenue over its total cost was Rp5.62 million/month. The average standard cost was Rp8,452/kg tempeh. The average added-value was Rp4,117/kg soybeans and its 95 percent confidence interval was Rp3,001-5,233/kg soybeans. In the three tempeh production centers, the number of people employed was 186.Key words : agroindustry tempeh, added value,business analysis, employment.
