Abstract

Mutun Beach is one of the many tourist destinations in Lampung Province.  In order for this tourist destination to be able to compete with other tourist destinations, Mutun Beach needs to show the performance of its tourism attributes.  The main objective of this study was to analyze the tourism attributes that need to be maintained and improved their performance in Mutun Beach.  This research was conducted for four weeks in August and September 2020.  Samples were taken in stages from the Mutun Beach’s visitors.  Each week, interviews were conducted three to four times, namely on one working day and two days on weekends. Prior to the interview, the samples were randomly selected.  The number of samples was 40 respondents.  The main data collected were the importance and performance scores of the 17 tourism attributes.  Data were analyzed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).  The results showed that of the 17 attributes studied, there were 11 attributes had to be maintained, namely the number of parking lots, lodgings, communication skills of officers, ability of officers to provide information, courtesy and friendliness of officers, service speed  of officers, willingness of officers to help tourists, security and convenience of traveling, as well as the officer’s understanding and sensitivity to the needs of tourists.  The results showed that there are four attributes that need to be improved, namely cleanliness of toilets, trash bins, worship facilities and cleanliness of beach areas.Key words: attributes, importance, performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Upsus program on those three variables. The sample of this study were chosen by the simple random sampling method. The total respondents were 66 farmers of soybean from two districts in three villages for each district. They were interviewed for their farm budget in dry season2014 for non-upsus and dry season 2018 for Upsus. Therefore, the total observations were 132. There are three dependent variables, i.e. yield, production standard cost (HPP), and profit. The independent variables were Upsus and location as a control variable. Data were analyzed by the multiple linear regression model. The results of this study revealed that the Upsus program had statiscally significant (α= 1%) impact on increasing the yield, decreasing the production standard cost, and increasing the profit of the soybean farming. Its yield increased 16%, i.e. from 1.35 ton/ha to 1.57 ton/ha. Its production standard cost decreased 19%, i.e. from IDR4.690/kg to IDR3,820/kg.  Its profit increased 57%, i.e. from IDR3.21 million/ha to IDR5.05 million/ha.Key words: cost, production, profit, soybean, yield

Abstract

Population and economic growth in Bandar Lampung has been increasing the demand of restaurants. Consequently, competition among restaurants in Bandar Lampung has been increasing in order to get their customers. The main goal of this research is to find out the difference between the customers’ expectation and the restaurant’s performance. Data were obtained form questioning respondents from two restaurants in the business area of Way Halim Permai, Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). It is revealed that both Restaurant A and Restaurant B were under performed in two atributes, i.e. restaurant comfort and hospitality. Abstract

UMKM masih memiliki keterbatasan penggunaan teknologi yang disebabkan banyak usaha UMKM tidak mampu bersaing dengan pelaku usaha lain baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan peningkatan pengatahuan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk memperluas pasar UMKM.  UMKM yang efisien dan efektif harus terhimpun   dalam 1 wadah yaitu “Creative Hub”. Creative Hub menjadi wadah bagi pengembangan kreatifitas, pertukaran informasi, promosi dan perluasan akses pasar bagi pelaku industry kreatif di Negeri Katon Pesawaran. Pelatihan perlu dilakukan agar pengetahuan dan kemampuan UMKM meningkat terutama perluasan pasar melalui digitalisasi bisnis dengan dimanfaatkan media sosial dan market place.   Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian masyarakat terhadap Produk Kerajinan UMKM Tapis Negeri Katon Pesawaran, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) pengabdian masyarakat menyampaikan pemahaman kepada mitra tentang pemasaran melalui e-commerce; (2) mitra bisa membuat toko online dan promosi melalui sosial media secara mandiri; (3) produk mitra dipasarkan dibeberapa market place dan sosial media; dan (4) hasil penilaian konsumen dinyatakan  bahwa pemasaran produk mitra melalui e-commerce memiliki nilai informatif, persuasif (meyakinkan), dan intention (memiliki daya tarik) yang tinggi.

Abstract

Pangan  merupakan  kebutuhan  pokok  manusia  yang    ketersediaan,  distribusi  dan tingkat harganya berpengaruh kepada strabilitas ekonomi nasional. Ketersediaan pangan yang rendah, tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat akan menimbulkan ketidakstabilan ekonomi. Salah satu pangan pokok masyarakat Indonesia adalah beras. Upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan beras ditempuh melalu berbagai upaya antara lain peningkatan intensifikasi padi sawah, dan pemanfaatan sumberdaya lahan  dengan pertanaman padi yang cukup besar tersedia di Indonesia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman anggota kelompok tani dan aparat desa tentang intensifikasi padi, analisis usahatani, manfaat limbah tanaman padi dan limbah sayuran untuk dibuat eco-enzyme di Desa Kalirejo Kabupaten Pesawaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi, ceramah, diskusi/tanya jawab, dan kunjungan lapang serta pendampingan. Hasil akhir yang diharapkan setelah kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan adalah agar anggota kelompok tani  memiliki kemampuan dalam melaksanakan budidaya padi sawah dengan benar, mampu melakukan analisis usahatani, mengerti dan memanfaatkan limbah padi dengan benar dan membuat eco-enzyme dari sisa-sisa buah dan sayuran

Abstract

Consumers tend to experience changes in attitudes and satisfaction towards purchasing broiler chicken meat in the new normal era. This research was conducted using a survey method which aims to determine consumer attitudes and levels of satisfaction by paying attention to what attributes consumers consider before buying broiler chicken meat in the new normal era. The number of samples in this study was 116 respondents. Research data was analyzed conjointly which describes consumer attitudes based on evaluation of various product attributes and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to measure attributes that influence consumer satisfaction with purchasing broiler chicken meat. Based on conjoint analysis, it shows that consumer attitudes towards broiler chicken meat in the new normal era are in a very good direction with the attributes most liked by household consumers in Bandar Lampung, namely halal labels, meat texture, type of purchase, price of chicken, aroma and skin color. . The combination of broiler chicken attributes that Bandar Lampung household consumers like is cheap price, not rancid aroma, shiny yellowish red skin color, chewy texture, halal label, and online purchase type. The level of consumer satisfaction based on the consumer satisfaction index for broiler chicken meat is 91.39 percent which is in the very satisfied category. The level of consumer satisfaction with the performance attributes of texture, type of purchase, halal and color of broiler chicken meat is in the range of 4.18-4.28, falling into the very satisfied category. Meanwhile, consumer satisfaction with the performance attributes of price and aroma of broiler chicken meat is in the range of 4.07 and 4.06, which is in the satisfied category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences between lunch and dinner buyers in assessing importance and performance attributes, differences in importance and performance levels between lunch buyers and dinner buyers, and analyze the attributes that need to be improved and maintained. The method used in this study was a survey method by conducting interviews with 35 lunch buyer respondents and 35 dinner buyer respondents. The samples were determined using a probability sampling technique to randomize table numbers and the analytical method used was the Mann-Whitney Test and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Interest and performance attribute ratings by buyers used a Likert scale with a range of 1 to 5. This study showed that there was no significant difference in importance and performance ratings between lunch and dinner buyers' ratings. There are 4 different attributes of the importance and performance of dinner and lunch. There is 1 attribute whose performance needs to be improved and 8 attributes whose performance needs to be maintained. Keywords: attributes, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), importance and performance, lunch buyers and dinner buyers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyse the differences between family visitors and non-family visitors in assessing the importance of the attributes of hilly area tourism and to rank the importance of these attributes. Additionally, it seeks to analyse which performance-related qualities should be preserved and which require improvement. 35 family visitors and 35 non-family visitors were interviewed for 16 qualities as part of this study's survey methodology. Probability sampling was used to choose the sample. Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and the Mann-Whitney test were used for data analysis. When evaluating the value of traits, family visitors and non-family visitors differ in six ways, according to the results of the Mann-Whitney test. Meanwhile, the five attributes with the highest importance rankings in the assessment based on family visitors were comfort while traveling, scenery, air quality, safety while traveling, and food courts. In contrast, the assessment of non-family visitors highlights the five attributes with the highest importance rankings as air quality, scenery, comfort while traveling, tranquillity while traveling, and price. Furthermore, the combined results of the IPA analysis on family visitors and non-family visitors concluded that there were five attributes that need to be improved and nine attributes that need to maintain their performance. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the differences between weekday and weekend visitors to assess and rank the importance attributes of the Kampoeng Vietnam tourist attraction, as well as to identify attributes that need to be improved, and attributes that need maintenance to increase performance. This research used a survey method by interviewing 35 visitors of Kampoeng Vietnam in a weekday, and 35 visitors in the weekend   There are 16 attributes included in the questionnaire. The sample selection was conducted by using probability sampling methods. Data analysis used was Mann-Whitney test and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the Mann-Whitney test indicate that there is a significant difference between the assessments of weekday visitors and weekend visitors regarding the importance level of the attributes of amusement rides, accommodations, and the tranquility of tourists. The ranking assessments of weekday visitor indicate that the attributes of photo spots, scenery, and air quality are in the highest rate; while the weekend visitor rank assessments show that the attributes of price, photo spots, and play attractions are received the highest rankings. Meanwhile, the result of IPA indicated that there are six attributes with different levels of importance and performance between weekday visitors and weekend visitors. Furthermore, the combined results of the IPA analysis for weekday visitors and the IPA for weekend visitors conclude that there are five attributes that need improvement and eight attributes that should maintain their performance. Keywords: attribute, IPA, weekday, weekend
