Abstract

The social dynamics faced by the people of Jayapura City related to the Covid-19 outbreak, namely increasing anxiety and even fear of the sound of ambulance sirens carrying patients so that a negative stigma appears on residents exposed to the virus. The purpose of the research carried out is to describe and analyze student perceptions as part of the community regarding the knowledge, handling, and sound of the Covid-19 ambulance siren especially in Jayapura City, in July 2021. This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design, a sample totaling 63 Cenderawasih University students obtained from direct interviews as well as filling out questionnaires and google forms online. Data analysis used Chi-Square, univariate, bivariate, and multivariate with multiple logistic regression statistics. The univariate, bivariate, and multivariate values: (1) P=0.099, P=0.32, P=0.486, P=0.242, P=0.996, P=0.066, means that there is no relationship between age and gender with student perceptions of Covid-19; (2) P=0.000, P=0.005, there is a relationship between knowledge about Covid-19 and students’ perceptions of vaccines; (3) P=0.411, P=0.715, there is no relationship between gender and age with students’ perceptions of handling Covid-19; (4) P=0.593, P=0.000, there is no relationship between students’ perceptions of the ambulance siren sound. Based on the results of the discussion in this study, namely: (1) Respondents have good knowledge or understanding of the endemic Covid-19 virus; (2) Most of the respondents saw the handling of Covid-19 in the fairly good range of categories; and (3) Respondents generally have a bad perception of the sound of ambulance sirens passing by carrying Covid-19 patients. Knowledge of influencing student perceptions is needed to provide comprehensive and equitable information to all communities about handling, prevention, and all information regarding joint efforts in overcoming COVID-19 in Papua.

Abstract

Riset yang dilakukan memiliki tujuan utama yakni mengkaji kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan yang ada untuk menemukan strategi kebijakan pengembangan Danau Sentani sebagai destinasi wisata budaya dan olahraga yang bernilai jual. Pendekatan kearifan lokal, perencanaan pihak yang baik dari pengelola wisata dan dukungan pemerintah daerah menjadi sumber kebijakan utama. Jenis riset yang digunakan adalah desain deskripsi, adapun penatapan subyek riset dalam pencairan sumber informasi menggunakan cara non-probabilitas. Wawancara, angket ataupun kajian literasi menjadi sumber pengumpulan informasi riset, berkaitan analisa data yakni menggunakan teknik (S.W.O.T). Hasil dan pembahasan dalam riset in menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sentani sebagai destinasi budaya dan olahraga memberikan sumbangan dampak perekonomian bagi masyarakat lokal di Kabupaten Jayapura Papua; (2) Kebijakan yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik destinasi adalah menggunakan pendekatan vertical growh. Oleh sebab itu, sangat tepat apabila Pemerintah bersama masyakarat terus meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas destinasi Danau sentani sebagai tujuan wisata budaya dan olahraga.

Abstract

Technology is present in human life with the intention of facilitating all kinds of activities that can be accessed by the community. As a result, technology is considered to have a fairly high efficiency value. Along with the development of the technological era, the government has managed to take advantage of this to carry out activities related to public services that have a clear legal basis for implementation, but there are still people in Jayapura Regency who do not know about the website, due to different constraints in each sub-district. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the Jayapura Regency Regional Government Website has been operating properly, as well as to identify the challenges faced and possible solutions. Alvaro Roscha's theory is used in this qualitative descriptive research method on the Jayapura Regency Government website. The method used to collect data includes observation and interviews. Research Results The Jayapura Regency Regional Government website is considered to function well, although the complaint system is still problematic and has not been able to provide a satisfactory response to the public. In addition, the Jayapura Regency Communication and Informatics Office has succeeded in effectively managing the Jayapura Regency Government website, although it still encounters obstacles such as pages that cannot be accessed, complaints that have not been handled, and the appearance of the website which is still simple to improve quality. Jayapura Regency Government, in this case the Ministry of Communication and Informatics can provide website technology training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pomolisian masyarakat di Kampung Wilayah Polsek Kurulu Polres Jayawijaya 2) menganalisis model implementasi kebijakan pomolisian masyarakat di Kampung Wilayah Polsek Kurulu Polres Jayawijaya. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber informasi dari beberapa informan internal personil anggota polsek Kurulu dan eksternal tokoh masyarakat di Kampung Binaan Wilayah Polsek Kurulu Polres Jayawijaya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pendekatam teori yang digunakan adalah model implementasi Van Metter dan Van Horn, yaitu; 1) Standard dan tujuan kebijkan 2) Sumber daya 3) Karakteristik organisasi pelaksana, 4) Sikap para pelaksana, 5) Komunikasi antar organisasi pelkasana, 6) Lingkungan sosial, ekonomi dan politik di Wilayah Polsek Kurulu Polres Jayawijaya. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pertama Standard dan tujuan kebijkan di Kampung Wilayah Polsek Kurulu sudah berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapakan, kedua sumber daya personil ditemukan masih sangat terbatas, ketiga karatreistik organisasi cukup baik karena tercipta keakraban antara pimpinan dan bawahan dengan baik, keempat komunikasi dalam bentuk sosialisasi terlihat berjalan dengan baik dan ke lima kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan politik cukup mendukung terhadap implementasi Polmas yaitu kerukunan, gotong royong, dan totong menolong antar warga masyarakat di wilayah Polsek Kerulu berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu tercipta partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan pemolisian masyarakat sangat baik.

Abstract

Gaya komunikasi guru merupakan salah satu cara penting dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dikelas. Komunikasi merupakan salah satu proses penyampaian informasi berupa pesan melalui komunikator kepada khalayak banyak, baik penyampaiannya berupa bentuk simbol, lambang, atau yang lainnya dengan tujuan dan harapan agar para peserta (siswa) dapat memahaminya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang peran dan fungsi guru, meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang kompetensi guru dan meningkatkan kemampuan guru. Berdasarkan hasil mengikuti pelaksanaan ini, terdapat enam jenis komunikasi guru yang sangat baik dan efektif dalam membantu siswa menguasai pelajaran dan mencapai keberhasilan yang optimal. Dan keenam tipe tersebut yakni: Ramah, singkat, penuh perhatian, hidup dan animatif, relaks, serta dramatic yang mana, masing-masing tipe tersebut memiliki ciri-ciri yang saling berkaitan antara satu dengan lainnya. Juga, bagi seorang guru harus melihat bahwa terdapat faktor-faktor luar dalam proses pengajaran komunikatif yang telah dipilihnya. Diantaranya yaitu 1) Guru sebagai pesan, 2) Isi/Materi/Pesan, 3) Metode mengajar, 4) Murid/Penerima pesan, 5) Evaluasi/ umpan tarik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the clarity of objectives, achievement strategies, planning, and preparation, as well as facilities and infrastructure prepared to support the community empowerment program in managing the sago commodity in Obaa District, Mappi Regency which is to be achieved. This type of research is qualitative research. Data analysis in this research used the N-vivo software tool. The results of research, programs, and strategies for community empowerment through sago processing aim to eradicate poverty, empowerment planning is an action to meet food needs and planning actions to increase community and regional income, preparation of a community empowerment program in managing sago commodities in Obaa District, Mappi Regency is a program design sago as food for the Mappi community and sago as a source of income for the Mappi community and area, the facilities and infrastructure provided are 7 units of sago production house, 1 unit of packing warehouse, 5 units of sago dewatering machines, 6 dismal machines (floating machines), 6 press machines sago, 9 units of chain saw machines, 1 unit of 3-wheeled vehicle, 2 units of Viber 15 PK boats, 5 units of permanent sago grating machines while there are 13 units of potable ones. Conclusions, objectives, achievement strategies, planning, preparation, as well as facilities and infrastructure prepared to support the community empowerment program in managing the sago commodity in the Obaa District, Mappi Regency, which are to be achieved have been well planned.
