Abstract

The purposes this study to find the implications of distributed leadership on the role of principal qualitative research approach with the type of phenomenology used in this study. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Key informant is the principal. Research respondents were deputy principals, homeroom teachers, and administrative staff. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models. Data validity is done through credibility, dependability, transferability, and confirmability. The results of the study found that the distributed leadership implications of the role of the principal are: delegators, democrats, participators, facilitators, team leaders, do not show the greatest, not as heroes, collaborators, coordinators, communicators, evaluators, priority scales, empowerers and counselors

Abstract

The importance of optimizing leadership in educational institutions has now become an absolute necessity to achieve maximum results. This study highlights the implementation of leadership as a means to leverage various resources, explore opportunities, solve challenges and lead organizations to successfully achieve goals. In particular, this case study research has the aim of reviewing and implementing the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurial leadership of school principals in creating a learning environment. Thirty vocational high school teachers and two vocational high school principals acted as informants in this study. Through the use of Miles and Huberman's interactive qualitative analysis model, the results of his research indicate that the principal in implementing entrepreneurial leadership uses two ways. First, the principal manages organizational growth by optimizing, communicating, motivating, monitoring, controlling, exemplary and empowering. Second, the principal creates innovation through several improvements: vision building, staff development and restructuring. The implication is that it can create a positive learning environment for school members, encouraging them to innovate in academic and non-academic fields. It is necessary to help principals create a positive learning environment. In addition, the findings of this study can be a reference for applying entrepreneurial leadership to support teachers and students in making some innovations.

Abstract

The research aims to know the factors that influence optimizing vocational high school facilities and infrastructure. By optimizing vocational high school facilities and infrastructure, it becomes strategic enough to contributeto the administrative performance, quality of learning, and quality of graduates. The research used a quantitative approach using questioners as the instruments of data collection with several 124 respondents.The analysis technique used a multiple regression test with one dependent variable and four independent variables. The results of the research conclude that the factors of student need (ρ = 0,016) and motivation (ρ = 0,024) significantly influence while the factor of rule (ρ = 0,169) and partnership (ρ = 0,108) do not significantly influence the optimization of facilities and infrastructures in Vocational High School.The four factors have a significant effect on ρ = 0,000.

Abstract

This study examines leadership values ​​that inspire in building superior vocational high schools, including creative, innovative, proactive, risk taking, communicative, motivational, personal, and strategy. This type of research is a case study where data is collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, document analysis, and observation of audio visual material. The analysis was carried out by making transcriptions of data, notes, video recordings, and documents; generate ideas, codify data, design themes and interpret data. The results show that entrepreneurial leadership has a positive effect on the performance of leaders. This article is expected to be a guide for school principals in obtaining and practicing inspiring entrepreneurial leadership values ​​to increase the effectiveness of their schools and to facilitate the process of a quality school. Regarding the results, this study implies that inspiring leadership serves as one of the key factors for building excellent vocational high schools. However, due to the limitations of this study, further research is needed.
