Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survey online menggunakan aplikasi SurveyHeart Forms-App. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pelaksanaan kuliah daring Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika (PSPF) di masa pandemic Covid-19. Survey dilakukan terhadap 14 mata kuliah keahlian PSPFyang tersebar di semester 1 3 dan 5. Responden adalah mahasiswa aktif di semester 1, 3 dan 5. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskripti. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh pelaksanaan kuliah daring semester ganjil 2020/2021 berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, dengan rincian kompetensi penguasan materi 82% (sangat baik), pelayanan akademik perkuliahan 77,46% (baik) dan kepuasan mahasiswa 79,33% (baik). Perlu dilakukan monitoring keterlaksanaan perkuliahan daring untuk memastikan terpenuhinya jumlah pertemuan kuliah sebanyak 16 kali. Tools yang paling banyak digunakan untuk pelaksanaan kuliah daring di PSPF adalah WhatsApp, Google Classroom, dan Zoom Cloud Meeting. Penugasan yang diberikan sudah memenuhi kriteria pembelajaran yang berpusat pada mahasiswa dan sesuai dengan karakteristik pemebelajaran perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Fisika Dasar 1 melalui Project Based Learning. Project yang diberikan berupa pembuatan poster fisika dan pemanfaatan alat sederhana yang ada dilingkungan untuk menjelaskan konsep-konsep fisika dasar 1 yang didokumentasikan dalam bentuk video. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket yang sudah valid dan reliable. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Fisika yang mangikuti mata kuliah Fisika Dasar 1 tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase untuk masing-masing indikator kreativitas : Kemampuan menginvestigasi ide 78%, kemampuan mengaktualisasikan ide dan konsep dalam desain media yang dikembangkan 84%, ketepatan dalam memilih media sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang muncul dalam investitasi ide 78%, keterbaruan media yang dikembangkan 60%, dan kemampuan mengelola alat dan bahan dalam mengembangkan media 78%. Rata-rata diperoleh 76% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Untuk penguasan konsep dari media/alat peraga yang dikembangka, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 78% termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service activity is to provide training to high school / vocational / MA physics and chemistry teachers on research management, including the preparation of proposals, conducting research, preparing scientific articles and how to publish articles in seminars and or journals. This training needs to be done because there is a gap between the assignment of teachers to write scientific papers with inadequate writing abilities and motivation so as to improve teacher professionalism and pedagogical competence. The teacher has the obligation to research and write scientific papers, but there are still limitations in implementing them. Training and practice in research management and preparation of scientific articles for teachers are still very much needed.Higher Education as a teacher-producing institution, as well as an institution that organizes research activities, has a moral obligation to conduct coaching. For this reason, community service programs to provide research management training and the preparation of scientific articles are the means adopted to overcome these problems.From the series of scientific article technical assistance activities it can be concluded as follows in general the development of professionalism of the teachers of SMA Negeri 2 Kejuruan Muda before conducting this activity still encountered some difficulties in writing scientific articles. During and after the mentoring activity, the teacher was very enthusiastic by opening the unsam e-journal website as examples of articles that had been published and following all the directions from the dedication team in conducting online journal submission techniques. Five scientific articles were produced that were suitable for publication in unsam e-journals and this was one of the final achievements of this dedication activity

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini memanfaatkan air limbah tahu yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap larutan garam, soda kue dan cuka sebagai larutan elektrolit. Dengan menggunakan alat yaitu multimeter, penjepit buaya, kap ukuran 200 ml, pengaduk, paku beton, kawat tembaga, dan gelas ukur. Sedangkan bahan utama yang di gunakan yaitu air limbah tahu, cuka,garam, baking powder dan air. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu ketika air limbah tahu dicampurkan dengan cuka dengan banyak air limbah tahu 120 ml dan cuka 80 ml arus yang diperoleh yaitu 0,50 dengan tegangan 0 volt, kemudian ketika air limbah tahu di campur dengan baking powder dengan perbandingan 120 ml air limbah tahu dan 80 ml larutan baking powder arus yang diperoleh yaitu 0,09 dengan tegangan 0 volt begitu juga dengan larutan garam yang ditambahkan dengan air limbah tahu 120 ml air limbah tahu dan 80 ml larutan garam menghasilkan arus sebesar 0,78. Sedangkan untuk nyala lampu pada cuka memerlukan 8 kap dengan rangkaian seri dan paralel arus yang diperoleh 0,56 dengan tegangan 6 volt. Untuk larutan garam memerlukan 8 kap dengan arus 0,74 dengan tegangan 6 volt. Sedangkan pada larutan baking powder memerlukan 10 kap lebih untuk menghidupkan lampu dengan terang sedangkan 10 kap lampu yang hidup hanya redup arus yang di peroleh dalam 10 kap yaitu 0,07 dengan tegangan 6 Volt. Kemudian untuk air limbah tahu saja memerlukan lampu 10 kap untuk menghidupkan lampu led dengan keadaan terang arus yang diperoleh yaitu 0,38 dengan tegangan 6 Volt. Membuktikan abhwa limbah tahu berpengaruh terhadap nyala lampu, arus dan tegangan pada masing-masing jenis cairan yang di uji coba dan di teliti. Abstract

This study aims to determine the miniature of the conversion of motion energy can be used as a medium for contextual physics learning. This type of research is development research using the R & D (Research and Development) method which adopts the development of Gravermaijer and Cobb. The population in this study were all class X in SMA Negeri 4 Langsa and the sample in this study was class X MIPA 1 with a total of 22 students. The results of this study are miniatures of the conversion of motion energy into electrical energy. The value of media validation gained 99% and material validation was 82.5%. Based on the validation values, the developed media is declared suitable for use as a contextual physics learning media for energy conversion material. The results of student responses also showed that learning physics using miniature energy conversion was "very interesting" for students with an average response rate of 85.4%. Suggestions in this research are Miniature energy conversion which is developed is the conversion of motion energy into electricity. for further development it is recommended to be able to develop other types of energy conversion. Abstract

Electrolyte solution is a solution that can conduct electricity and NaCl solution is an example of a strong electrolyte solution. NaCl is a chemical compound of salt. On the market can be found many types of salt. In this research, the ratio of current and voltage of electrolyte solution obtained from various types of salt was obtained. This research was conducted by an experimental method using a simple electrical circuit. The purpose of this study is to find out how much current and voltage are produced in each salt, To find out if a salt water solution can turn on the lights. The results showed that the electric current which has the highest value is that of sea salt with the respective water volume 240 mL in 20, 40, 60, gr salt, wherein the current is obtained for 20 gr of current obtained 0.81 A, for 40 gr of current obtained 1.09 A, for 60grn of current obtained 1.16 A and the resulting voltage is the same as 001 volts where the higher the water content salt the salt water voltage is also higher. Then the electric current which has the lowest value is the dalfino salt and elephant salt with their respective volumes of water 240 mL of dalfino salt in 20 gr, 40 gr, 60 gr. For 20 grams of Dalfino and elephant salt a current of 0.33 A is obtained, for 40 grams obtained 0.44 A, for 60 grams obtained 0.65 A, and in the current elephant salt obtained in 20 gr, 40 gr, 60 gr, that is, for 20 grains a current of 0.24 A is obtained, for 40 grams a current of 0.52 A is obtained, for 60 grams a current is obtained currents 0.72 A. So, sea salt can produce high currents because sea salt contains sodium chloride, contains various minerals such as potassium, iron and zinc.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the number of blades and the angle of inclination on rotation speed on a simple fan and to find out the effect of the number of blades and the angle of inclination to the noise produced by a simple fan. The research method was carried out by the experimental method using a simple fan design. The results of this study, namely the angle of the propeller angles greatly affect the value of the rotation speed of a simple fan blades, the rotation speed at an angle of 0° to the number of blades obtained the highest value, namely the propeller (2) with the measurement results, namely 9559 rpm; measurement of rotation speed at an angle of 15° to the number of blades obtained the highest value, namely the propeller (3) with the measurement results, which is 14353 rpm; measurement of rotation speed at an angle of 30° to the number of blades obtained the highest value, namely the propeller (3) with the measurement results, namely 4473.67 rpm. The number of blades and the angle of the slope affects the noise level produced by a simple fan the lowest noise level at angle 0° to the number of blades (4) with the measurement results, which is 57.4 dB; the lowest noise level at an angle of 15° to the number of blades (3) with the measurement results, which is 65.6 dB; the lowest noise level at an angle of 30° to the number of blades (4) with the measurement results, which is 60.5 dB. The highest rotation speed of the three propellers (2, 3, 4) with angular tilt (0°, 15°, 30°) is the number of propellers (3) at 15° angle tilt with the measurement results, which is 14353 rpm. The lowest noise level is produced from the three propellers (2, 3, 4) with the angle slope (0°, 15°, 30°) is the number of propellers (4) at the angle of 0° with the measurement results, which is 57.4 dB.

Abstract

Computational chemistry is a branch of chemistry which is the theoretical translated into computer programs to calculate the properties of molecules and their changes. This study analyzes the need of computational-based chemistry practicum in the Basic Chemistry course at the Chemistry Education Study Program at Samudra University. This study was done by survey technique. Aspects analyzed in this study include: module analysis through a review of the Basic Chemistry practicum module used by the Chemistry Education study program, needs analysis through students' perceptions that has been carried out, and literatures analysis through computational studies for Basic Chemistry that have been developed. Basic Chemistry practicum implemented in Chemistry Education is a verification practicum (conventional), and it is necessary to implement a practicum that gives more freedom to students in exploring. Basic chemistry practicum in Chemistry Education is also not based on computational, so it is necessary to develop basic chemistry practicum activities that provide computational problem solving

Abstract

Understanding in physics concept is needed to solve the problem in life. the aim of this research was to analyze the students’ level of conceptual understanding level and students’ model of understanding. It will help educators in selecting the suitable teaching approaches and strategies to gain conceptual understanding. This research design used a quantitative-descriptive model. The design aims to describe the conceptual understanding level of pre service teacher on Newton’s Laws concept. The subjects were 40 students of Physics Education Department UNSAM who credited Fundamental of Physics course. Analysis conceptual understanding level and understanding model of pre-service physics teacher used instrument test which developed by Saglam. This research show that the students’ level of understanding (pre-service physics teacher, UNSAM) was vary about Newton’s law concepts but show the insignificant numbers among levels. Generally, students’ achievement has no fallen progressively. It explains, students reach different success in the questions about conceptual understanding. While students’ understanding models, they most appear in theoretical model (TM) and inappropriate model (IM). This result support the improvement of pre-service physics teachers’ conceptual understanding

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prinsip kerja, hasil dan hubungan energi panas dengan Alat Konverter Energi. Alat Konverter merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk memudahkan seseorang untuk memahami suatu konsep perubahan energi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen. Hasil dari percobaan yaitu 4 kali percobaan dengan 2 perlakuan yaitu menggunakan Es Batu dan tanpa Es Batu dimana besar kecilnya perubahan suhu memiliki hubungan terhadap nilai Tegangan dan Daya listrik yaitu jika nilai perubahan suhunya besar maka Tegangan dan Daya listrik besar, sebaliknya jika nilai perubahan suhu nya kecil maka Tegangan dan Daya listrik akan kecil. Dapat dilihat dari nilai korelasi yang didapat yaitu  hubungan perubahan suhu dengan tegangan memiliki hubungan yang cukup yang nilai korelasi sebesar 0,4868 atau 0,49%. Untuk hubungan perubahan suhu  terhadap daya listrik memiliki hubungan sangat kuat dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,5231 atau 0,52%.
