Abstract

This research is development research aimed to develop a learning product in the form of a Multimedia-based E-book on Digital Simulation Subjects which are feasible or valid and easy to use or practical. The test subjects in this research and development consisted of content experts, media experts and subject teachers of digital simulation and grade 10th students of SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. The ADDIE development model used in this study consisted of five stages, namely: (1) analysis stage, (2) design stage, (3) development stage, (4) implementation stage (5) evaluation stage. The development of  multimedia-based digital simulation e-book through the material expert validation stage with the score of 4.73 and media validation 4.60 shows that the material and design or media evaluation in the e-book is feasible or valid. Then, the teacher's response obtained a score of 4.71, the average score of individual student trials was 92.14, and the average score of the student group trial was 90, which means the e-book is easy to use by teachers and students. there were no students who acquired a low score from the test results after learning using the e-book which means it is effectively used.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Karies gigi paling banyak ditemukan pada anak usia sekolah. Pengetahuan anak yang kurang merupakan salah satu diantara faktor penyebab kerusakan gigi. Efek dari ini mengakibatkan kesadaran anak dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi menjadi kurang. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesehatan gigi yaitu dengan upaya promotive dengan promosi kesehatan melalui penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Pendidikan kesehatan gigi memerlukan media yang tepat. Diperlukan suatu inovasi untuk pengguanaan media yang terkini dan tepat untuk anak yaitu menggunakan inovasi media pillow book. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menguji media pillow book dalam meningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap kesehatan gigi anak sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimental dengan pre test and post test nonequivalent control group design. Tahapan penelitian yaitu pengukuran tingkat pengetahuan dan tindakan anak sebelum maupun sesudah penyuluhan menggunakan media pillow book pada kelompok intervensi sedangkan kelompok kontrol dengan flipchart.  Uji data normalitas dengan shapiro wilk, dilanjutkan dengan wilcoxon test dan mann-whitney test. Hasil uji efektivitas data berpasangan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap anak menunjukkan bahwa nilai p-value kelompok intervensi adalah 0,000 (p <0,05) artinya pillow book efektif. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol adalah 0,180 (p >0,05) artinya media flipchart tidak efektif. Kesimpulan bahwa untuk meningkatan pengetahuan maupun sikap anak sekolah dasar lebih efektif menggunakan media pillow book  daripada media flipchart. Kata Kunci : Anak sekolah dasar; pillow book; promosi kesehatan gigi   ABSTRACT Dental caries is most found in school-age children. Lack of knowledge of children is one of the factors causing tooth decay. The effect of this results in less awareness of children in maintaining dental health. One way to improve dental health is through promotive efforts with health promotion through dental and oral health education. Dental health education requires the right media. An innovation is needed for the use of the latest and most appropriate media for children, namely using the pillow book media innovation. The aim of the study was to test the pillow book media in increasing the dental health knowledge and attitudes of elementary school children. The research method used was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test nonequivalent control group design. The stages of the research were measuring the level of knowledge and actions of children before and after counseling using pillow book media in the intervention group while the control group used flipcharts. Test data for normality with Shapiro Wilk, followed by Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test. The results of the paired data effectiveness test in increasing children's knowledge and attitudes showed that the p-value of the intervention group was 0.000 (p <0.05) meaning that the pillow book was effective. Whereas in the control group it was 0.180 (p>0.05) meaning that flipchart media was not effective. The conclusion is that to increase the knowledge and attitudes of elementary school children it is more effective to use pillow book media than flipchart media. Keywords: Elementary school children; pillow book; dental health promotion

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore on strengthening character education through e-books for online or distance learning in the times of COVID-19. The present study employs a descriptive qualitative with the aim of being able to provide clear, objective, systematic, analytical descriptions and information, and critical aspect of Character Education-Based E-book for learning during the Covid 19 era in higher education. There were several steps such as collecting the required data, then classification and description were carried out. The sources of data in this study were government policies, books and articles concerning the implementation of distance learning during the covid 19 period and character education. The method used to collect research data is in the form of literary data that has been selected, searched, presented and analyzed. The application of Indonesian e-books based on character education is a solution that can be done to overcome the problems of character education during the COVID-19 era, especially regarding the use of diction and literature. In this e-book character values ​​can be inserted in the introduction, materials, and assignments to provide character education to students. Hence, the e-book was developed based on the curriculum and the values ​​of character education. E-books are provided in online learning and can be studied by students from their homes both online and offline. In order to draw students’ attention, the e-book must be designed to be visually attractive so that the material in it can be learned and easily understood by students.

Abstract

Gangguan pertumbuhan dalam waktu singkat sering terjadi pada perubahan berat badan sebagai akibat menurunnya napsu makan seperti diare dan infeksi saluran pernapasan atau karena kurang cukupnya makanan yang dikonsumsi. Karies  gigi  pada  anak  menunjukkan hubungan   yang   bermakna   dengan   status gizi.   Semakin   rendah   indeks   karies   gigi pada    anak,   maka    status    gizinya    akan semakin   baik.  Karies  gigi menyebabkan terganggunya fungsi pengunyahan (mastikasi) yang dapat mempengaruhi   asupan   makan   dan   status gizi. Karies gigi dapat dicegah dengan perilaku hidup sehat. Perilaku tersebut dapat terwujud jika pengetahuan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut sudah ada. Pengetahuan tersebut didapat dengan berbagai cara. Salah satunya dengan penyuluhan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut memiliki tujuan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat untuk mencapai tingkat kesehatan gigi yang lebih baik. Penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut bukan hanya menjadi tangung jawab pemerintah, tetapi juga semua pihak yang berkompetensi dalam bidang tersebut. Pelaksanaan Penyuluhan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut untuk Pencegahan Stunting di Desa Salampe, Kecamatan Ponre, Kabupaten Bone. Pokok-pokok materi yang disajikan antara lain Masalah Stunting, Hubungan Kesehatan Gigi terhadap Stunting dan cara menjaga Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut, Seluruh peserta sangat antusias terhadap kegiatan penyuluhan ini dengan aktif bertanya dan mencoba untuk memperagakan apa yang telah dijelaskan oleh narasumber. Kesehatan gigi dan mulut dapat membantu pencegahan stunting karena dengan gigi dan mulut yang bersih dan sehat makan proses pencenaan makanan akan lancar sehingga rasa dan gizi pada makanan dapat dinikmati dan diserap oleh tubuh dengan maksimal. Kata kunci: stunting, gizi, gigi, penyuluhan
