Abstract

Samudra Indah Beach is one of the developing tourism areas. The development of marine tourism areas has to balance the economic needs and the effective use of resources. This study aims to analyze the suitability level of Samudra Indah Beach as a beach tourism object based on some parameters of the suitability of the tourist area and to analyze its carrying capacity. This study is descriptive using the Index of Tourism Suitability and Carrying Capacity which results in the values of suitability and carriying capacity of the tourism area. The parameters observed include depth, beach type, base substrate type, beach width, beach slope, current velocity, water brightness, land cover, hazardous biota, and freshwater availability calculating the maximum number of visitors accommodated in the area at a certain time without causing disturbance to nature and humans. The results showed that the Samudra Indah Beach area was included in the category of highly appropriate (S1) particularly for beach recreation and swimming. This beach can accommodate around 8,333 visitors/day.

Abstract

By stock assessment, data on the current status of fish resource utilization in nature are obtained, which are used for optimum utilization of fish resources and prevent overuse of fish resources, so that fish resources can be used sustainably. This research was conducted to assess the stocks of mondol stingray stock which included the frequency distribution width, the relationship between width and weight, growth and mortality and the rate of exploitation. This study uses a census method by observing the stingray caught by fishermen. Stingray samples were taken weekly for four months, at the fish landing sites. The data obtained were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and FISAT II software by FAO-ICLARM. The number of mondol rays obtained during the study was 238, consisting of 118 males and 120 females. The wide range of mondol rays obtained was 170-640 mm (male) and 180-810 mm (female), and the weight range was 170-8,405 g (male) and 195-16,877 g (female). The relationship between the width-weight of male and female mondol showed a negative allometric growth pattern. Analysis of the growth of mondol stingrays shows the growth coefficient of male stingrays is 0.38 per year and females 0.40 per year. The mortality of mondol rays was caused more by fishing mortality than natural mortality. The calculation of the exploitation rate of mondol stingray shows the occurrence of overfishing. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui scale up produksi biogas dari limbah peternakan ayam dengan penambahan eceng gondok pada perombakan anaerob sistem kontinyu. Kotoran ayam digunakan sebagai sumber inokulum dalam digester anaerob (5 L) dengan substrat campuran limbah peternakan ayam dan eceng gondok dengan pengenceran berbanding 1 : 1, dan 1:3, dan scale up dalam volume kerja digester anaerob 1600 L sistem kontinyu. Pada biodigester anaerob sistem kontinyu dan agitasi 8 kali perhari diukur produksi biogas setiap hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perombakan anaerob limbah peternakan ayam dan eceng  gondok terbaik adalah pengenceran 1:1 dan  scale up produksi biogas secara kontinyu sebesar 490 L/hari  Kata kunci : digester anaerob sistem kontinyu, kapasitas 2 m3, rasio C/N. biogas

Abstract

Serantangan lake has an area of ± 258 Ha, the condition of this lake is horrible because there had been from unlicensed gold mining activities in the area, causing many changes ranging from the color of the waters, depth to the number of fish caught. This study was conducted to determine the composition, uniformity, and diversity of fish and plankton species as well as the dominant fish species in Serantangan Lake. This research was conducted for 3 months at Lake Serantang using a purposive sampling method, namely by going directly to the waters of Serantangan Lake to install fishing gear (1.5-inch trawlers, traps and scoops) from station 1 to station 5. Based on the results of the study fish caught during the study were included in 12 species and 7 families. Diversity index is 2,74; the uniformity index value is 0.96; the dominance index value is 0.07.

Abstract

STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS DAN KOMPOSISI HUTAN MANGROVE DI DESA BAKAU BESAR LAUT KECAMATAN SUNGAI PINYUH KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH Robiatul Adawiyah(1), Inpurwanto(2), Ahmad Mulyadi(2) (1)Mahasiswa Prodi Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan Fakultas Pertaniandan(2)Staf Pengajar Fakultas PertanianUniversitas Tanjungpura  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur dan komposisi seta keanekaragaman jenis hutan mangrove yang terdapat di Desa Bakau Besar Laut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September 2018 - Januari 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adala metode purposive sampling dan transek. Data vegetasi mangrove diambil dari tiap transek, dengan menggunakan transek kudrat berukuran 10 m x 10 m (tingkat pohon), 5 m x 5 m (tingkat pancang) dan 2 m x 2 m (tingkat semai). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 9 (sembilan) spesies mangrove yang termasuk kedalam 5 (lima) familia yaitu Rhizopora mucronata dan Rhizopora stillosa (Rhizoporaceae), Avicennia officinalis, Avicennia marina dan Avicennia lannata (Avicenniaceae), Bruguiera cylindrica dan Bruguiera gymnoriza (Bruguieraceae) dan Nypa fruticans, Exoecaria agallocha (Exoecariaceae). Nilai INP (Indek Nilai Penting) tergolong tinggi pada jenis Bruguiera cylindrica. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman tergolong rendah, nilai keseragaman jenis tergolong rendah dan nilai indeks dominansi tergolong sedang. Kata Kunci : Struktur dan Komposisi Vegetasi Mangrove, Keanekaragaman Jenis, Keseragaman Jenis, Indek Dominanasi, Desa Bakau Besar Laut

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mangrove forests in Mendalok Village have an area of 6 ha and ± 500 m2 which have been managed by BUMDes as mangrove tourism, which is named Polaria Tanjungpagar. This study aims to determine the potential of mangrove ecotourism seen from the perceptions, motivations of the society and visitors, knowing the density of the type of mangrove forest vegetation and knowing the suitability of mangrove ecotourism. This research was conducted from July-December 2018 in the mangrove forest area of Mendalok Village, Sungai Kunyit Subdistrict, Mempawah Regency, using survey, literature study and interview methods. The analysis of the data used in this research was the percentage of perception, motivations of society and visitors, tourist suitability analysis, analysis of attractions of ecotourism activities, analysis of regional carrying capacity and density analysis of mangrove vegetation. The results of the research on mangrove forests in Mendalok Village have ecotourism potential in the form of a high level of community participation for ecotourism activities of 83.33%, having the potential of mangrove resources for ecotourism development in the form of 12 species of mangroves that make the area suitable for ecotourism. The level of mangrove density in trees is classified as medium with a value of 1011.12 ind / ha, the level of saplings and seedlings is classified as a value of 12755.56 ind / ha and 38257.78 ind / ha which means that it has good regenersion and is suitable for ecotourism. Ecotourism suitability index in the area of organic waste flow with a very suitable category (SS), ecotourism areas have a very suitable category (SS) and unmanaged areas have conditional appropriate categories then the carrying capacity of Tanjungpagar Polaria mangrove area can only accommodate 40 tourists person / day. Based on the research findings of mangrove forests in Mendalok Village, it has the potential to be used as ecotourism. Keywords: Ecotourism, Potency, Mangrove

Abstract

Lake Sayok has been utilized by the community for fishing. Its close location to oil palm plantations affects the quality of the waters. This study aims to identify the fish community structure in Lake Sayok, Telabang Hilir Hamlet, Subah Village, Tayan Hilir Sub-district, Sanggau District including Relative Abundance (KR%), Species Diversity (H'), Domination (C), and Uniformity (E), as well as supporting physical, chemical and biological parameters in aquatic environments. The research used a purposive sampling method in which the determination of station points was divided into 4 points to represent the area of the lake. The result showed that the number of fish species reached 985 species individuals consisting of 9 families and 20 species. The highest relative abundance value was Kumpang fish (Belontia hasselti) with a value of 12.18% and the lowest abundance was Lais species (Belodontichthys dinema) with a value of 0.91%. The Diversity Index value was 2.70 included in the medium category. The Dominance Index value was 0.08 included in the low category. The Uniformity Index value reaches 0.90 indicating the high uniformity of the type at the station with even distribution or the number of individuals of each species is relatively the same.

Abstract

This research focuses on the bioecology of Asian Redtail Catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) in the downstream of the Kapuas River, Radak Village, Terentang Sub-district, Kubu Raya District. It was conducted from June to September 2020. It aims to identify the relationship between biological aspects including distribution and food habits with the habitats of catfish in the downstream of Kapuas River. It used a purposive random sampling method by selecting the research location based on differences in the environmental setting. The research area was divided into three stations consisting of Station I, which is far from residential areas and bordering secondary forest. Station II is the meeting point of Kapuas River and the Creek of Radak River. Then, station III is close to residential areas. The distribution of catfish could be found in all three stations at a certain time with the highest abundance at station II. The food habit of catfish was considered carnivorous with a length of RGL <1 with the main food of shrimps with an IP percentage of 41.55%, followed by fish and insects as complementary foods with an IP percentage of 27.45% and 19.6% respectively. The ISC value of catfish ranged from 0.8-1.9%. The water condition in the downstream of the Kapuas River is still balanced for the life of catfish.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) dengan dekomposer Trichoderma harzianumyang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri pada tanahaluvial.Penelitian dimulai sejak tanam sampai panen dari tanggal 6 februarisampai tanggal 26 Maret 2015. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak.Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen lapangan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan, 4 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdapat 4 sampel tanaman, jumlah keseluruhan tanaman sebanyak 96 tanaman. Perlakuan sebagai berikut: (t0)pemberian 0,00 g kompos TKKS,(t1)pemberian 30,25 g kompos TKKS/polibag setara dengan 10% bahan organik, (t2) pemberian 257,12 g kompos TKKS/polibag setara dengan 13% bahan organik, (t3)pemberian483,99 g kompos TKKS/polibag setara dengan 16% bahan organik, (t4)pemberian 710,87g kompos TKKS/polibagsetara dengan 19% bahan organik, dan(t5) pemberian937,74 g kompos TKKS/polibag setara dengan 22% bahan organik. Variabel pengamatan : tinggitanaman (cm), jumlahdaun (helai), volume akar (cm3), beratsegartanaman (g), beratkeringtanaman(g), klorofildaun (Spad Unit), danJumlahAnakan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kompos  TKKS dengan dekomposer Trichoderma harzianummemberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang baikterhadap pertumbuhantanaman seledripada tanah aluvial. Semakin bertambah dosiskompos TKKS dengan dekomposer Trichoderma harzianummakapertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri juga semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh POC                         (Pupuk Organik Cair) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kailan hidroponik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan dan masing – masing ulangan terdiri dari 3 sampel tanaman.        Total dari seluruh sampel penelitian adalah 72 tanaman. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah p0 (10 ml/ liter air larutan nutrisi AB Mix), p1 (200 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p2 (250 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p3 (300 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p4 (350 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), dan p5 (400 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam). Variabel pengamatan yaitu volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, jumlah daun dan berat segar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC kotoran ayam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel, yaitu volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, jumlah daun dan berat segar tanaman.                                                                                          Kata Kunci : hidroponik, kailan, POC kotoran ayam
