Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the peer teaching model on improving basic basketball skills among tenth-grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Cikampek. The main problem addressed in this research is the low level of students’ basic basketball skills due to teacher-centered learning methods. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 60 students, divided into experimental and control groups using the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a basic basketball skills test (dribbling, passing, and shooting) that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test with the help of SPSS version 26 at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a t-value of 6.12 > t-table 2.00 and p = 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the implementation of the peer teaching model has a significant effect on improving students’ basic basketball skills. The experimental group demonstrated a higher average score improvement than the control group. In conclusion, the peer teaching model is effective in enhancing students’ basic basketball skills through collaborative learning among peers. Practically, these findings can serve as a reference for physical education teachers to apply teaching methods that foster active participation, cooperation, and student responsibility. Theoretically, this study strengthens the relevance of social learning theory in the context of physical education in vocational schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study, among others, is to determine the effect of the problem based learning on the mastery of the front kick movement in learning pencak silat at SMA Negeri 2 Karawang. This study uses an experimental quantitative approach. This study was made using a pre-experimental form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The place of this research is in SMA Negeri 2 Karawang. This research was conducted in July – August 2022 with 8 meetings. The population in this study was class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Karawang. Sampling using the technique of "purposive sampling". The author took samples based on certain criteria so that the sample in this study amounted to 33 people. This research instrument uses a test instrument to collect research data. based on the results of the calculation data that has been carried out, it is obtained that the pretest has an average calculation result of 27.27 and the posttest with an average of 36.06 indicate that the pretest has a smaller calculation result than the resultscalculation posttest. The data analysis technique in this study uses statistical , including: normality test, it is known that the statistical test value in the pretest is 0.933 and the posttest 0.941. The homogeneity test of the pretest-posttest obtained a significance value of 0.567 because the sig value of 0.567> of 0.05. The t-test table paired sample test output are known to have the Sig value. (two tilled) of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference between pretest and posttest and means that there is an effect of the problem based learning on the mastery of front kicks in learning pencak silat at SMA Negeri 2 Karawang.

Abstract

This study aims to design an artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted library service model to empower marginalized communities through a social inclusion approach. The research is grounded in the context of information access gaps and low digital literacy faced by disadvantaged groups, highlighting the need for library service innovations that are relevant to technological developments and community needs. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through literature review, observation, and interviews with librarians and representatives of marginalized communities. The data were analyzed using a thematic approach and verified through triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that integrating AI technologies—such as Canva for graphic design, CapCut for video production, and DeepL Translate for language translation—significantly enhances the capabilities and active participation of communities in accessing, processing, and producing information. The implementation of these services not only ensures equitable access to digital resources but also equips users with practical skills applicable to economic development, education, and social advocacy. The proposed service model is based on the core principles of social inclusion: equitable access, active participation, information empowerment, and recognition of diversity. This study concludes that AI-assisted library services designed under social inclusion principles can be an effective strategy to reduce the information gap and strengthen the role of libraries as agents of social change. The implications of this research are expected to serve as a reference for developing more inclusive library policies and practices in the digital era.
