Abstract

This study discusses the Role of Public Relations of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat in Conveying Public Information. This study aims to determine how the role of public relations secretariat DPRD Palembang City in conveying public information, the function of public relations secretariat DPRD Palembang City in conveying public information, obstacles in conveying public information. The theory used in this research is the theory of public relations according to Dozier and Broom. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The sources of research informants in this study were the Head of Public Relations of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat, and the Public Relations staff of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat. Data collection techniques are using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that (1) the role of Public Relations of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat in Delivering Public Information Public Relations As a communication facilitator which means that public relations has a role to hear complaints from the public who are accommodated by public relations and then conveyed to leaders, both public relations as problem-solving facilitators which means public relations will seek solutions to the problems faced by the palembang city government, the three public relations as a communication technique so that public relations know whether there is reciprocity between the government and the community so that it is profitable for the government. to the media crew. (3) The obstacle to Public Relations of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat in conveying public information is the lack of Human Resources (HR) owned by the Public Relations of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat. because not all public relations staff have a scientific background majoring in communication science or related to journalism so that it becomes an obstacle when public relations deals with the media or journalists. In addition, there are internet network disturbances. When public relations perform their duties out of town, but there is sudden information. However, for this problem the Public Relations of the Palembang City DPRD Secretariat can overcome it.

Abstract

One of the marketing strategies used by companies today is digital marketing through Instagram social media, there are factors to influence reciprocal behavior towards marketing products, one of which is the presence of Korean culture that enters Indonesia. From this phenomenon, several companies in the industrial business field are competing to attract public attention by bringing Korean artists to carry out potential collaborations through product marketing. Lemonilo officially announced the form of his product collaboration with a boy band from South Korea, namely NCT ​​Dream as Lemonilo's brand ambassador. This study aims to find out (1) How is the "Mi Lemonilo" strategy using NCT Dream as a brand ambassador for product marketing? (2) Did the use of the Korean artist "NCT Dream" as a brand ambassador really attract the attention of the audience, especially via Instagram? The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with the analysis of the AISAS method. The data were taken in the form of observation and documentation interviews with 5 informants from NCT Dream fans in Palembang, and supported by data sources taken through journals and the internet. The results showed (1) the marketing strategy of Lemonilo X NCT Dream succeeded in increasing the company's image, and making fans interested in Lemonilo products. (2) The use of Korean artists as brand ambassadors can attract an audience on Instagram as a media marketing strategy by getting an increase in the number of followers, collaboration products that are displayed through Instagram posts can be sold quickly, share information about this collaboration between fans, and share their experiences through social media by NCT ​​Dream fans.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the da'wah communication strategy is implemented in the Kiai Marogan Islamic boarding school in the mass media. Next, to find out what factors that support and barricade the Da’wah program in Kiai Marogan Islamic boarding school. Therefore, the objectives of this study are first, to find out how the da'wah communication strategy is implemented in the Kiai Marogan Islamic boarding school in the mass media. Second, to find out the community's responses to the development of the Kiai Marogan Islamic boarding school. Third, this research can be a reference in making new policies for the development of da'wah programs. Whereas the benefits of this research first, theoretically, the results of this research can add to the repertoire of da'wah and the communication field. Second, practically, the results of this research are expected to give a positive contribution to da'wah activists, both individually, in groups, institutions, organizations, and the government in formulating the most appropriate strategy to overcome the problems in da'wah. This study uses a qualitative method, which aims to understand in depth the phenomenon in da'wah communication which occurs in Kiai Marogan Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Improving the community's economy aims to improve the standard of living of the community so that they can live prosperously, safely and prosperously. This is certainly very useful for the community so that they can always be in harmony and peace. Through the process of community empowerment, namely Community empowerment aims to empower people in the community to realize the full potential of their skills. The society in question is a society where no one is unproductive or unemployed. Unemployment is a situation where members of the labor force do not have a job and are not currently actively looking for it. Unemployment can be overcome, one of which can be done through community empowerment by developing a cricket livestock business. With cheap and easy costs, crickets are the right choice for people to improve their economy so they can always live safely and prosper.

Abstract

Online product marketing uses Instagram and Shopee as media or means of product promotion. Gulo Puan small and medium enterprises sell traditional food products in Rambutan Village which are made from swamp buffalo milk and granulated sugar called Gulo Puan. This business was founded on June 15 2020 by a housewife named Dwi Pratiwi. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing communication strategies used by small and medium business owners who market their products through the online media Instagram and Shopee so that these products can be recognized by many consumers. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques carried out by researchers through observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data sources in this study were Dwi Pratiwi who is the owner of a small and medium gulo lady business, Mrs. Dawisa who is a gulo lady maker, and Muhajirin, who is a swamp buffalo breeder in the village of Rambutan. Secondary data sources were obtained through sales documents for Gulo Puan products on online media, Instagram and Shopee owned by Gulo Puan small and medium enterprises. Based on the results of research on marketing communication strategies carried out by small and medium business owners, Gulo Puan in online shopping media is carried out using the marketing mix theory. The researcher concludes that the marketing communication strategy used by Gulo Puan small and medium business owners in online media is to use the marketing mix theory, using the 4p, namely product, price, place, and promotion (promotion).

Abstract

This study discusses the values ​​of da'wah in niha'ie activities at the Nurul-Qomar Islamic Boarding School, Palembang. The aims of this research are to find out (1) What are the essential values ​​of da'wah in niha'ie activities at the Integrated Modern Islamic Boarding School Nurul - Qomar Palembang. (2) find out what are the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors in the Implementation of Niha'ie Activities at the Integrated Modern Islamic Boarding School Nurul - Qomar Palembang. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and recording. Data analysis used in this study is through data reduction, presentation and inference. This is shown from the results of this study, 1) The role in the formation of Islamic boarding school morale representing Ustad and Ustazza with students is going well. This includes activities such as: Prayers in Congregation of Imamah, Kitoba, Lectures, Amalia Tadris, Caring for Dead Body, Book Review, Autobiography, P2K (Public Service Practice), Nephew Nihaye's Final Examination. All male and female students of the Nurul Komal Islamic Boarding School participated in the activity. 2) Based on research conducted by researchers, researchers can conclude that: The role of Islamic boarding schools in building the spirit of students is good, and the activities of Ustaz and Ustaza have a positive impact on the spirit of students. can be improved from before. Even if there is support and disincentives for its implementation, there are supporting factors in student morale, namely the availability of proper facilities and infrastructure to facilitate activities and activities at Pompes, parents and their surroundings. Community support, and passion and enthusiasm is important. The cooperation between Ustaz and Ustaza in building good student enthusiasm can be reduced, but the inhibiting factor is the weather factor, which sometimes makes students lazy to go there, and students still lack confidence and stability in participating. This creates a certain feeling of laziness among students. students participating in activities at Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Effectiveness of Da'wah Through the Cawisan Method in Increasing Religious Understanding (Study of the Soponyono Mushola Congregation, 12 Ulu Village, Su II District, Palembang City)". The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of da'wah through the cawisan method in increasing religious understanding. This type of research is field research (field research) through a quantitative approach. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires and documentation. The theory used in this study is related to effectiveness according to Sutrisno with the indicators used to measure the effectiveness of da'wah through the cawisan method in increasing religious understanding, namely understanding the program content of the cawisan that is conveyed, right on target where the method used is right in changing the morals of the congregation, on time before changes occur in the congregation later, so that the goals desired by the congregation for life are achieved, and which makes real changes in the congregation's daily life. The results of this study found that the results of data processing with the SPSS version 25 program, which obtained a tcount > ttable value of (3.435 > 2.004) and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, it can be said that there is an effectiveness of da'wah through the cawisan method in increasing religious understanding, this is also a sufficiently large coefficient of determination or Rsquare of 0.174 which indicates that the effectiveness of da'wah through the cawisan method in increasing religious understanding is 17.4%, while the remaining 82.6% is influenced by other variables outside the variables studied. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of preaching through the cawisan method in increasing religious understanding in the Soponyono Mushola congregation can be said to be quite effective.

ABSTRACT: This thesis is entitled “Hajj and Umrah Travel Management Strategy in Recruiting Umrah Pilgrims at PT. Bina Insani Madinah City of Palembang” This research is focused on the implementation of marketing strategies at PT. Bina Insani Madinah in marketing Umrah worship packages. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing strategy as well as the challenges and opportunities in implementing the recruitment strategy for the Umrah congregation of PT. Human Development Medina. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. There are two data sources used, namely primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Miles and Huberman's data analysis technique with three stages, namely Data reduction, Data display, Conclusion drawing/verification. Furthermore, using marketing management theory (marketing mix) Edmund Jerome McCarthy. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the management strategy for recruiting Umrah pilgrims from PT. Bina Insani Madinah is in line with the marketing mix strategy which has four components, namely first, the product strategy creates various Umrah package programs that vary according to market demand and prioritizes quality. Second, the pricing strategy by setting appropriate and competitive prices. Third, the location strategy by determining the location of the head office and branches that are strategic and have the potential to distribute products. Fourth, a promotion strategy that is more effective in recruiting Umrah pilgrims is priority partners and alumni of Umrah pilgrims. The challenges in recruiting Umrah pilgrims are business competition such as price, product, service quality competition and the lack of understanding and trust of the public towards Umrah travel agents. The opportunity has a good corporate image and is committed to providing quality services.

Abstract

Criticism can sometimes be a very important need in life to express yourself or what is in your heart. In reality, human consciousness can make two decisions, namely ignoring or accepting the situation. To reject and condemn it is to worry about it. Examples include musicians through their music, poets through their poetry, and so on. Such criticism can help clean up the wrong governance order. The aim of the research is to find out what songs are on the album Abdi Lara Insani: Edisi Lengkap by Feast. and to find out the analysis of social criticism discourse in the song "Song of Criticism Again" by Feast. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method which aims to explain contemporary issues using information presented in the form of words or images. With data collection techniques through observation, documentation and literature study. As well as using the Miles and Huberman model data analysis techniques which include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The researcher uses Teun A. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis model, because based on discourse analysis, Dijk does not only rely on textual analysis, because texts are only the result of production practices which must also be scrutinized. but also in analyzing how the text was created, in order to gain knowledge of why the text came to be. There are dimensions of text structure, social cognition and social context which are an integral part of Van Dijk's framework. Based on the presentation of data and critical discourse analysis modeled by Teun A. Van Dijk by discussing the overall meaning of the song on the album "Abdi Lara Insani: Edisi Legkap" and the construction of the meaning of social criticism from the lyrics of the song "Song of Criticism Again" by .Feast. It can be concluded that the album Abdi Lara Insani: Edisi Lengkap tells the story of a fictional character named Ali A(bdi) L(ara) I(nsani), a public official who was originally an idealistic young man who was very critical of the leaders in his country in fight for certain ideas but change when faced with wealth and power. Ali, who was arbitrary with his power, like the previous rulers, whom he had previously criticized heavily, was finally sued by the people of the world. Then the results of the research show that the discourse of social criticism in the song "Song of Criticism again" by .Feast is manifested in three dimensions of text structure, social cognition and social context. So "Song of Criticism Again" by .Feast is an effective means of social criticism. This song can provide awareness to the public about the importance of social criticism of the government.
