Abstract

This study aims to examine the perceptions of students from the Da’wah Management Study Program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang toward the preaching (da’wah) delivered by Denis Lim. His preaching style is widely recognized as relaxed, communicative, and closely connected to younger audiences, making it an interesting subject of study from the perspective of da’wah students. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving students who have followed or are familiar with Denis Lim’s preaching. The results indicate that most students have a positive perception of his da’wah, particularly in terms of its clarity, simplicity of language, and ability to relate religious messages to everyday life. However, some students expressed critical views regarding the depth of the material and the tendency toward oversimplification. Overall, Denis Lim’s da’wah is perceived as effective in engaging younger audiences and has the potential to serve as a contemporary model of da’wah in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of Hajj manasik guidance in improving the understanding of Hajj rituals among prospective pilgrims at KBIHU Raudhatul Ulum Palembang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the strategies implemented in Hajj manasik guidance include lectures, practical demonstrations, ritual simulations, and the use of visual and interactive media. In addition, instructors apply persuasive and communicative approaches to facilitate participants’ understanding. These strategies have proven effective in enhancing the understanding of prospective pilgrims, including their knowledge, practical skills, and mental readiness in performing Hajj rituals. Therefore, structured and systematic manasik guidance plays a significant role in preparing pilgrims to perform Hajj properly in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki populasi muslim terbesar di dunia dan tingkat kedermawanan tinggi, namun penghimpunan zakat melalui lembaga resmi seperti BAZNAS masih belum optimal dibandingkan potensinya. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya faktor yang memengaruhi motivasi masyarakat berzakat, seperti literasi zakat, transparansi lembaga, dan religiusitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh literasi zakat, transparansi, dan religiusitas secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap motivasi berzakat masyarakat di BAZNAS Kota Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 146 muzaki, dengan sampel 59 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin (margin error 10%) melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linear berganda berbantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi zakat, transparansi, dan religiusitas secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi berzakat di BAZNAS Kota Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media digital terhadap minat Generasi Z dalam bidang jurnalistik. Kehadiran media digital yang semakin dominan tidak hanya menjadi sarana hiburan, tetapi juga menjadi sumber informasi sekaligus ruang aktualisasi diri bagi generasi muda. Generasi Z, yang dikenal dekat dengan teknologi, cenderung menghabiskan waktu lebih banyak pada platform digital seperti media sosial, portal berita online, dan aplikasi berbagi video. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada sejumlah responden yang termasuk dalam kategori Generasi Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingginya intensitas penggunaan media digital memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan meningkatnya minat terhadap aktivitas jurnalistik, seperti menulis berita, membuat konten informatif, serta melakukan peliputan peristiwa secara kreatif. Media digital memberikan kemudahan akses informasi, peluang belajar secara mandiri, serta ruang interaksi yang luas sehingga mendorong ketertarikan untuk terlibat lebih jauh dalam dunia jurnalistik. Selain itu, paparan terhadap berbagai bentuk jurnalisme digital turut memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis dan literasi media. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media digital memainkan peran penting dalam menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi Generasi Z untuk mengembangkan keterampilan jurnalistik.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Relationship between Technological Development and the Mental Health of Strawberry Generation Students. This research is motivated by the rapid development of information and communication technology which has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including the mental health of Strawberry generation students. This generation is known to be adaptive to technology, but has a tendency to be emotionally sensitive and therefore vulnerable to psychological stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between technological development and the mental health of Strawberry generation students. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that the calculated rvalue of 0.733 was greater than the r table of 0.227, which means there is a significant and positive relationship between technological development and the mental health of Strawberry generation students. The contribution of this research is expected to be an academic reference in the development of educational policies and psychological support services for students, especially in utilizing technology wisely to support the mental health of the younger generation.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Relationship between Social Interaction and Happiness of the Elderly at the Harapan Kita Palembang Social Home for the Elderly. The background of this study explains that the elderly often face various problems such as decreased physical abilities and health, and a lack of attention from those closest to them, so that social interaction becomes very important for their well-being and happiness. The study will focus on the relationship between social interaction and happiness of the elderly at the Harapan Kita Palembang Social Home for the Elderly. Good social interaction can help the elderly feel useful, healthy, and get support from their surroundings. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the Relationship between Social Interaction and Happiness of the Elderly at the Harapan Kita Palembang Social Home for the Elderly. The research method used is a type of quantitative research using a correlational approach, data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that social interaction has a significant influence on the level of happiness of the elderly. The analysis shows a strong positive correlation between social interaction and happiness of the elderly, with a determination coefficient of 56%, while the remaining 44% is influenced by other factors not studied. This shows that social interaction routines can have a positive impact on the elderly in overcoming problems involving happiness, such as getting closer to each other, providing inner peace, and maturing thinking to face problems. Thus, it can be concluded that social interaction plays an important role in improving the quality of life of the elderly in the shelter.

Abstract

In a world full of uncertainty, companies need new methods to develop businesses that are closely related to work productivity. This productivity is influenced by leadership in the organization that is able to motivate employees to achieve company goals. Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) offers a unique approach in analyzing social relationships in organizations to improve productivity. Individual productivity depends on the competencies possessed, and global competence is an important thing that every individual must have to help companies compete and survive the challenges. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effectiveness of organizational network analysis on global competence and work productivity in multinational companies. The method in this research is quantitative non-experimental. The number of samples in this study were 124 people. The data analysis technique uses the PLS or Partial Least Square method. The results showed that work productivity is inseparable from the role of ONA as a variable that can prove a strong relationship and the important role of ONA in organizational activities. And also the global competency variable is placed as a mediating variable with ONA that affects work productivity with the results of data processing from SMARTPLS 3.2.9 can still provide a significant and positive slice of influence. This research has implications for the development of organizational management strategies, especially in improving work productivity through the application of Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) and strengthening global competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the cinematherapy technique group guidance in preventing sexual harassment of students at Madrasah Aliyah Ar Rahman Palembang. The design used in this study was quasi-experimental. The sample of this study was 20 students who were divided into 2 groups. The results of the study showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. The posttest results of the experimental group were 49.2, while the posttest of the control group was 45.3. The results of the t-test in the pretest and posttest experimental groups showed that the significance was not reached. 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the provision of cinematherapy technique group guidance services is effective in preventing sexual harassment among students of MA Ar Rahman Palembang.
