Abstract

Signaled intersection of Pahlawan steet and Raden Saleh Sarif Bustaman street is one of the main streets in Bogor. This intersection has 3-arm approaches namely Pahlawan Street at East, Raden Saleh Sarif Bustaman Street at North, and Empang Street at West. Highest traffic on weekend is 11653 units/hour or 5087 SMP/hour which occur between 5.20-7.20 pm. Pahlawan - Raden Saleh Sarif Bustaman street obtained inconsistent time cycle of APILL and size of approach dimension which resulted in intersection with high saturated degree. The saturation degree of the intersection of the eastern approaches was 0.75 which meant that this value was same with the standard value in MKJI 1997 which is 0.75. This meant that the performance of intersection capacity was already saturated. The high saturation degree of the intersection resulted in a low level of service level and was classified as, service level E with the intersection delay 45 seconds/SMP. Scenario II is the best alternative scenario for intersections, with the addition of road or lane widening, so the intersection capacity of the eastern, northern and western approaches were 3931, 5066 and 4562 SMP/hour respectively. The average intersection delay became to 9 seconds / SMP, and classified as service level B.Key words: capacity, intersection, intersection delay, service level

Abstract

Leuwiliang Ring Road had curve, slop and road equipment like signs, markers and street lighting that uncomfortable for drivers. The purpose of this research was to evaluate road geometric based on RSNI T-14-2004 and guidelines no. 038/TBM/1997 and road equipment based on guidelines no. 01/P/BNKT/1991 and SNI 7391: 2008 on Jalan Lingkar Leuwiliang. The results showed that design of geometry and equipment of this road did not conform to Standard. The speed limit used was 50 km/h. The free side area on the 4th curve was of 3 m less than Standard (3.04 m). Slopes of the road were more than 9% on segment 2 (14.21%), 4 (10.94%), 13 (9.01%), 14 (9.19%), 26 (9.20%), 27 (9.20%), 28 (9.49%), 29 (12.15%) and 30 (19.36%). There were no markers on this road then longitudinal line mark was designed on the road side. Dotted line marks were designed at Sta 0+000 to Sta 0+200 and longitudinal line mark were designed at Sta 0+200 to Sta 0+974.5 on the road divider. There were no street lighting on the 7th pole to the 22nd pole so the street lighting were designed on that poles using the lamp type SON 100W patch to the pole with height of 6 m from the road surface.Keywords : free side area, lamp, road, road markings, slope.

Abstract

The road growth relatively smaller than traffic volume growth caused decreasing of the road service level. The purpose of the research were indentified performance existing geometry condition and traffic condition of Jalan Raya Sawangan as well as to formulate program to resolve traffic jam. Existing condition performance of Jalan Raya Sawangan on segment 1 as well as 2 were classified as F and E whereas the non-signal intersection performance of the road was F. The geometry improvement was chosed to resolve traffic jam so the service level for the next 15 years could be calassified as D. Improvement of intersection performance was conducted by changing non-signal intersection becomed signal and changing the signal intersection becomed interchange. Signal intersection was only able to receive traffic load for 10 years thus re-upgrading was required to match with the planned target by changing the intersection to interchange. Abstract

The growth of development sector in Indonesia lead a high demand for cement and sand. The research was conducted from February to July 2018 with objectives of analyzing and knowing the influence of mixture of ceramic waste and fly ash on compressive strength and water absorption of paving block. The research was started from preparation of tools and materials, manufactured of specimens and also tested the compressive strength and absorption of paving block. Quality standardwere based on SNI 03-0691-1996. Based on the analysis result, the highest compressive strength of 26.56 Mpa was obtained from paving block with 9% fly ash and 6% ceramic waste and was classified as class B. The highest water absorption of 18.29% was paving block with 15% mixtured of ceramic wastes and the lowest water absorption of 9.65% was normal paving block. Brick concrete with 6% mixture of ceramic waste and 9% fly ash had several advantages, i.e. cheaper cost, had a higher compressive strength and higher water absorption compared to normal paving block, more environmental friendly, had lighter weight and ease of installation.  Key words: ceramic wastes, compressive strength, fly ash, paving block, water absorption

Abstract

Urban road network typically consists of many intersections which commonly lead to traffic problems. In relatively low traffic, a simple priority intersection will be sufficient and lead no traffic problem without necessarily implement traffic lights, roundabout or others. In an urban area where traffic demands are high, intersections need to be treated with an accurate traffic engineering approach. There are many different approaches to reduce the traffic problem in intersection including traffic light, roundabout, or interchange. Cimahpar Raya street and Indobaso intersections are urban areas in Bogor city with the high demand for transportation and often having a congestion problem in peak hour. The Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of Bogor city plans to develop and change the Indobaso intersection to be a roundabout, while also increasing the lane width of the approaching roads. This study was conducted to assess the performance changes of the Indobaso intersection improvement by developing a traffic model of the intersection. The planned roundabout and lane width improvement significantly reduce the traffic delays by 90,07%, reduce travel time by 51,76%, improve average speed by 83,77%, and reduce the traffic density by 88,54% compared to the current condition of the intersection which lacks required lane road width and maneuver area.Key words: urban road, intersection, traffic model

Abstract

In 2017, Jakarta was ranked as 7th most congested city in the world. To overcome the problem of congestion in Jakarta, the Government implements the construction of road infrastructure through 6 toll roads inside Jakarta City, but the construction causes pros and contra regarding the effects of induced demand. This research aimed to analyze the service level of Bekasi Raya road on existing and toll roads in Jakarta City and analyzing Bekasi Raya road performance after the operation of the toll road and the off ramp impact of toll road. The analysis were conducted based on Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997, the Greenshield model, and the Highway Capacity Manual 2000. The result showed that the level of road service in segment 1 was C for Bekasi and D for the Pulogadung direction. In segment 2 the level of service was E for both directions, and in segment 3 the level of service was C. The level of the toll road service was C for both directions. The toll roads construction would increase the level of road service to C and reduce vehicle volume of 64,1% in Bekasi direction and 45,2% for Pulogadung (Jakarta) direction. The off ramp impact was the the toll road would not experience significant congestion until 2035.

Abstract

Road widening is a construction phase of Jakarta-Cikampek II elevated Toll Road construction project. Improving the effectiveness and road service capability influence the traffic activity. This study aimed to analyze alternative rigid pavement design and thickness based on the Road Pavement Design Manual (MDPJ) 2017 and American Association of State High-way and Transportation Officials Guide for Design of Pavement Structures (AASTHO) 1993. This research was conducted on March – May 2019. Based on the obtained data, a rigid pavement design alternative using the MDPJ 2017 method showed concrete plate thickness of 305 mm and using the AASHTO 1993 concrete plate thickness was 320 mm. In actual condition the concrete plate thickness was 300 mm.

Abstract

There are various road construction projects in Indonesia, but most of these projects still use conventional methods in evaluating road geometry. This study aims to evaluate the geometry of the road using UAV and analyze the accuracy and accuracy of photogrammetry in the evaluation of road geometry. This research took place at Dramaga's IPB Campus on Meranti street and was conducted from April to July 2019. From a series of processes that have been carried out it can produce accuracy of measuring 97,243% and 98,296% across the road for orthophoto results without and with coordinate correction and using GCP. For accuracy in this study obtained a value of 0.858 m so that it can be concluded that the data processing map is included in the class 3 horizontal accuracy. The horizontal alignment parameters analyzed in this study are bend angles, turn radius, and turn length, there are two curves analyzed. For the value of each parameter each turn successively for data without coordinate correction and elevation is 149 °; 90 °; 40.61 m; 53.75 m; 23.39 m; 90.71 m. The results of horizontal alignment analysis for data with coordinate correction are 150 °; 88 °; 30.81 m; 49.34 m; 21.39 m; 89.3 m. The vertical alignment analyzed in this study has two parameters, namely vertical curvature and slope. The value of the analysis results for the two parameters of the two points for results with correction and without correction of coordinates are 16.08%, 17.22%, 53 m, 51 m and 6.88%, 3.77%, 53 m, and 51 m .

Abstract

Kemacetan adalah gangguan lalu lintas yang jamak terjadi di kota-kota besar maupun kota berkembang di Indonesia. Terdapat berbagai macam skenario manajemen lalu lintas yang diterapkan untuk mengurangi masalah ini. Salah satu contoh manajemen lalu lintas yang banyak dipakai adalah pembatasan jenis kendaraan tertentu di wilayah, ruas jalan, atau jam tertentu, yang diharapkan dapat mengurangi potensi gangguan lalu lintas. Mengacu pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia tahun 1997, kendaraan motor di Indonesia terbagi atas kendaraan berat (HV), ringan (mobil penumpang, LV) dan sepeda motor (MC). Di antara jenis kendaraan ini, kendaraan berat seperti truk dan bus sering menjadi sasaran dalam skenario pembatasan masuk di ruas jalan tertentu. Studi ini mencoba menggali keefektifan skenario ini dengan membandingkan kinerja ruas jalan tertentu melalui perubahan jenis kendaraan yang melintas melalui suatu konversi kendaraan. Upaya konversi untuk menyamakan besaran dampak tiap jenis kendaraan di dalam analisis transportasi dikenal dengan istilah ekuivalensi. Diantara jenis ekuivalensi yang paling umum dipakai adalah ekuivalensi mobil penumpang yang menjadikan setiap jenis kendaraan memiliki padanan dalam satuan mobil penumpang, smp atau pcu (passenger car unit). Analisis di studi ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan simulasi mikro, dimana variasi kendaraan dilakukan berdasarkan ekuivalensi mobil penumpang. Penilaian kinerja jalan dilakukan berdasarkan parameter kecepatan sesuai Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan RI no 96 Tahun 2015. Studi ini dibangun dengan 3 buah model: Model 1: kondisi asli, Model 2: transformasi HV ke LV, Model 3: transformasi HV ke MC, Model 4: penghilangan HV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggantian HV ke LV maupun MC pada tingkat V/C yang sama dapat meningkatkan kecepatan lalu lintas. Lebih lanjut, penghapusan HV tanpa konversi ke kendaraan lain meningkatkan kinerja jalan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Di Indonesia umumnya evaluasi geometri jalan dilakukan dengan cara konvensional seperti menggunakan theodolite atau total station. Kegiatan evaluasi merupakan bagian dari monitoring untuk memantau setiap perubahan kondisi jalan baik profil, kepadatan kendaraan dan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kondisi eksisting geometri jalan menggunakan UAV serta menganalisis ketelitian fotogrametri. Lokasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini bertempat di Jalan Lingkar Dramaga. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pengambilan foto udara menggunakan UAV bereferensi Titik Kontrol Bantu BIG pada beberapa Ground Control Point (GCP). Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap alinyemen horizontal dan alinyemen vertikal jalan. Evaluasi ini dilakukan setelah dilakukan proses orthophoto terhadap hasil foto udara. Alinyemen horizontal yang dievaluasi berupa sudut belokan, radius belokan, panjang belokan, dan sisipan antar dua tikungan. Evaluasi alinyemen vertikal berupa panjang lengkung dan kelandaian jalan. Hasil uji akurasi berdasarkan kondisi eksisting jalan sebesar 99.2% untuk orthophoto tanpa koreksi dan 99.6% untuk orthophoto terkoreksi ground control point. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi terhadap kondisi eksisting jalan, alinyemen horizontal jalan telah memenuhi SNI T-14-2004 sedangkan pada alinyemen vertikal terdapat nilai kelandaian yang melebihi pada segmen A1-A2 sehingga dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa penambahan elevasi sebesar 0.50 m pada STA 0+390 berupa penambahan lapisan perkerasan.
