Abstract

Lansia adalah seseorang baik laki-laki maupun perempuan yang telah mencapai usia 60 tahun ke atas (Kemenkes 2018). Jatuh dapat menjadi penyebab masalah baru hingga berujung pada kematian lansia. Untuk mencegah masalah tersebut dapat diberikan intervensi latihan fisik yaitu dengan otago exercise. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh otago exercise untuk mengurangi risiko jatuh pada lansia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan menerapkan implementasi evidence-based practice nursing pada asuhan keperawatan gerontik. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan otago exercise responden pertama mengalami penurunan skor TUGT dari 31.10 detik menjadi 23.11 detik. Sedangkan responden kedua, dari 28.30 detik menjadi 18.98 detik. Hal ini menandakan terdapat penurunan skor risiko jatuh pada kedua lansia. Implementasi keperawatan pada kedua responden dengan otago exercise menunjukkan terdapat penurunan risiko jatuh dilihat dari skor TUGT sebelum dan sesudah implementasi. Berdasarkan monitoring harian skor risiko jatuh pada kedua responden menurun dengan rata-rata 8,655 detik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi dengan motivasi kader posyandu lansia dalam melengkapi pengisian Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS). Metode: Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah responden 103 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner persepsi dan motivasi yang menggunakan skala likert. Analisis menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan uji Somers’d. Hasil: Hasil univariat menunjukkan karakteristik responden mayoritas berusia 45 – 55 tahun. Mayoritas kader berpendidikan terakhir SMA ibu rumah tangga dengan pendapatan < UMK Banyumas tahun 2024. Mayoritas kader sudah menjabat ≥ 3 tahun. Kader sudah pernah mengikuti pelatihan mengenai tata cara pengisian KMS lansia. Selain itu, semua kader telah mendapatkan insentif dan mayoritas mendapatkan satu tahun sekali. Mayoritas kader memiliki persepsi dengan kategori sedang sebesar 85,4% dan motivasi dengan kategori rendah sebesar 56,3%. Analisis uji Somers’d diperoleh hasil nilai p-value = 0,001 (p<0,05) yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara persepsi dan motivasi kader dalam melengkapi pengisian KMS. Kekuatan hubungan termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai r = 0,429 dan menunjukkan arah hubungan positif. Diskusi: Motivasi kader posyandu lansia yang rendah dalam melengkapi pengisian KMS menghambat pemantauan kesehatan lansia. Motivasi ini dipengaruhi oleh persepsi keyakinan diri kader terhadap kemampuan yang dimiliki. Kesimpulan: Semakin baik persepsi kader, maka motivasi kader dalam melengkapi pengisian KMS cenderung meningkat.Kata Kunci: Kader, Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS), motivasi, persepsi, posyandu lansia.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Motivasi belajar media sosial dan dukungan keluarga penting bagi anak usia 10-12 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap media sosial dengan motivasi belajar anak usia 10-12 tahun. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel adalah 50 anak usia 10-12 tahun di SDN 2 Purwonegoro dan SDN 5 Purwonegoro yang diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dengan analisis univariat, dan uji Somers'd. Hasil: Ditunjukkan bahwa responden penelitian berusia 10-12 tahun. Jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 29 anak (58,0%). Mayoritas 24 anak memiliki dukungan keluarga dalam menggunakan media sosial dengan kategori sangat baik (48,0%) dan variabel motivasi belajar sebanyak 21 anak dengan kategori motivasi belajar tinggi (42,0%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dalam penggunaan media sosial dengan motivasi belajar anak usia 10-12 tahun. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga media sosial terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia 10-12 tahun dengan kekuatan hubungan yang lemah.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by blood glucose (blood sugar) levels exceeding normal, namely blood sugar levels at or above 200 mg/dl and fasting blood sugar levels of 126 mg/dl. The treatment needed to manage diabetes mellitus patients is by implementing healthy living behaviors such as maintaining a diet and running a treatment program. The effects of pharmacological therapy treatment such as flatulence, nausea and dizziness. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce other alternative therapies to overcome diabetes mellitus in the elderly, namely by using dragon fruit juice therapy and diabetic foot exercise therapy. Purpose: Knowing the effect of giving dragon fruit juice combined with diabetic foot exercise therapy to overcome diabetes mellitus in the elderly. Methods: Case study by applying implementation in accordance with evidenced based practice in nursing care. After intervening by giving dragon fruit juice and diabetic foot exercise therapy for a week to two managed clients. Discussion: The results obtained for one client decreased along with being able to regulate dietary patterns while the other did not experience a decrease due to not being able to maintain dietary patterns and regulate a good diet. Conclusion: Strategies to treat diabetes mellitus using dragon fruit juice and diabetic foot exercise therapy succeeded in reducing blood glucose levels by regulating dietary patterns.

Abstract

Background: Changes in organ function in the elderly can hinder interaction with the environment and affect psychological well-being. A supportive environment helps the elderly accept themselves, while a poor environment can trigger depression, stress, and loneliness. Feeling neglected by family can also worsen their psychological condition. This study aimed to identify the psychological well- being of the elderly in Banteran Village. Methodology: This was a descriptive quantitative study with a cross- sectional approach, involving 95 elderly individuals from Banteran Village using simple random sampling. Data were collected through the Psychological Well-Being questionnaire and analyzed using univariate analysis, incorporating the median and minimum-maximum values.. Results: The respondents in this study were elderly individuals aged between 60-73 years, with the most dominant gender being female (65.3%). The results showed that the psychological well-being of the elderly in Banteran Village was low in 44 elderly individuals (46.3%), moderate in 30 elderly individuals (31%), and high in 21 elderly individuals (22.1%). Conclusion: The majority of respondents have low psychological well- being. Therefore, the elderly need social support from their surroundings to improve their well-being.

Abstract

Background. Adolescence is a transitional phase from childhood to adulthood with physical, psychological, and social changes, placing adolescents in a vulnerable phase in terms of establishing emotional balance. In addition, adolescents are very vulnerable to social insecurity due to a strong need for social acceptance, which causes social anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of butterfly hug therapy and expressive writing on social anxiety in adolescents Methods. A case study with implementation based on evidence-based practice in nursing care Results. There was a change in the social anxiety scale from a score of 54 to 36 after administering butterfly hug therapy and expressive writing to adolescents. The social anxiety scale of adolescents after therapy showed an increase with a change of 1-2 scores on each item, namely the time needed to adjust, feelings of embarrassment when joining friends, confidence in their ability to complete a task, and verbal ability or openness of adolescents when answering questions Conclusion. The combination if butterfly hug therapy for 10 minutes over 6 sessions and expressive writing for 20 minutes over 5 sessions in six consecutive days had a positive effect on social anxiety levels. Clients felt calmer, their discomfort when interacting in social environments decreased, and they were able to make more rational assessments of the situations they faced.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of foreign insurance affiliation, market share, own retention ratio, claims ratio and expense ratio on the performance of general insurance companies in Indonesia. The performance of insurance companies in this study uses a measure of return on equity (ROE). The research population is all general insurance companies in Indonesia operating in 2018-2021. The research sample is 177 insurance companies in that period. Data collection uses financial reports submitted by insurance companies to the Financial Services Authority. Furthermore, to perform data analysis, multiple linear regression through the use of SPSS software as a tool is used in this study. The results show that foreign affiliation and own retention ratio have a positive impact on insurance company ROE. Meanwhile, market share, claims ratio, and expense ratio have a negative effect on ROE. Taken together, foreign affiliate, market share, own retention ratio, claims ratio and expense ratio affect ROE. The results of this study can provide an overview to regulators in regulating foreign ownership in the insurance industry in Indonesia as well as regulations regarding self-retention. For shareholders and management of insurance companies, this research can provide an overview of foreign cooperation policies and reinsurance policies associated with the risk profile of insurance business lines in Indonesia, fee policies, underwriting and claim handling.

Abstract

Background: Elderly people who experience musculoskeletal disorders will cause pain in the joints. One of the treatments for joint pain is with non-pharmacological techniques. Purpose : This study intended to determine the effect of warm compresses with red ginger on reducing joint pain in the elderly. Results: There was a decrease in the scale of joint pain in the elderly after giving the intervention. Conclusion: There is a decrease in the scale of joint pain in the elderly after giving warm compress interventions with red ginger.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The elderly are an advanced stage of the human life process that undergoes various anatomical and physiological changes in the body. One of them is neuromuscular changes that have an impact on decreasing muscle strength and balance disorders that result in the elderly becoming easily falling. Management to overcome the risk of falls can be carried out non-pharmacological with complementary therapy combined with ROM therapy and otago exercise (ROTAGO). Objective: This study was to determine the effect of combination therapy of ROM and otago exercise (ROTAGO) to reduce the risk of falls in the elderly. Methodology: The research method used is the case study method. This intervention was given to 3 elderly people at risk of falling, the intervention was carried out for 3 meetings with a duration of ± 40-50 minutes per day. The instrument uses TUGT. The data analysis used in this study is by using the paired t test. Study Results: The overview of the risk of falling after being given ROTAGO therapy for 1 week was that there was an average decrease in the risk of pre and post falls by 3.36 seconds. The results of the paired t test showed a significant effect of ROTAGO therapy on reducing the risk of falling in the elderly with a value of 0.009. Conclusions: There is a significant effect of combination therapy with ROM therapy and otago exercise (ROTAGO) to reduce the risk of falls in the elderly. Abstract

Background. Musculoskeletal disorders are complaints involving the muscular and skeletal system caused by occupational factors, commonly experienced by nurses and nursing students. Ergonomic attitutudes refers to proper and correct body posture in accordance with ergonomic principles. Suboptimal application of ergonomic attitudes may increase the body’s biomechanical load, thereby causing musculoskeletal complaints. This study aims to examine the relationship between ergonomic attitudes and musculoskeletal disorders among nursing students at Jenderal Soedirman University. Methods. This study used a quantitative correlational design with cross-sectional research design. The sample consisted of 38 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Somer’s D test. n observational study with cross sectional approach was conducted. Results. The median age of respondents was 22 years, almost all respondents were female (94,7%), and the majority had a normal body mass (63,2%). The analysis showed the most respondents had good ergonomic attitude (52,7%) and low levels of musculoskeletal disorders complaints (57,9%). The results of Somer’s D test analysis obtained a p-value = 0,003 and correlation coefficient (r) = 0,420. Conclusion. There is a significant relationship with a moderate correlation between ergonomic attitude and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders among nursing profession students at Jenderal Soedirman University. These findings highlight the importance of implementing and habituating ergonomic attitudes early in professional education to minimize musculoskeletal complaints. Future researches may explore other factors influencing musculoskeletal disorders or employ different research methods.
