Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to investigate whether there is a difference of critical thinking ability between the students instructed with the problem-based learning model and those instructed with the conventional learning model in Accounting learning at Vocational High School. This research used the experimental research method Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Its population was all of the students as many as 315 of Accounting Expertise Department. The samples of research consisted of 31 students in Grade XI.1 as the experimental group and 30 students in Grade XI.3 as the control group. The data of research were collected through limited essay test, observation, and documentation. They were validated by using the content validity and analyzed by using the Independent Sample T-Test with the prerequisite tests of normality test and homogeneity test. The results of research show that there is a difference of critical thinking ability between the students instructed with the problem-based learning model and those instructed with conventional learning model in Accounting learning as indicated by the result of the Independent Sample T-Test that the value of tcount = 5.174 was greater than that of ttable = 2.001. The students instructed with the problem-based learning model have a better critical thinking ability than those instructed with the conventional learning model. Keywords: Problem-based learning, critical thinking ability, accounting learning  ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model problem based learning dan peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model konvensional pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen Quasi Experimental Design dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik paket keahlian akuntansi yang berjumlah 315 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 31 peserta didik dan kelas XI.3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes uraian terbatas, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sampel T-test dengan uji persyaratan yang terdiri atas uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik yang belajar dengan model problem based learning dan peserta didik yang belajar dengan model konvensional pada pembelajaran akuntansi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pengujian hipotesis yang menunjukkan thitung > ttabel (5,174 > 2,001). Peserta didik yang belajar dengan model Problem Based Learning memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang belajar dengan model konvensional. Kata Kunci: model Problem Based Learning, kemampuan berpikir kritis, pembelajaranakuntansi

Abstract

This article is aimed to discuss the role and position of the business and industrial groups in the sustainable development agenda. It addresses the question of, in relation to their capitalistic nature of, their potentials and participation in the implementation of sustainable development. The article is aimed to give contextual understanding about the essential dilemma concerning the role of the business and industrial groups (as economic actors) and concludes that strategic partnership is a central issue to be considered in viewing their role the sustainable development agenda.

Abstract

The dominance of the concept of sovereignty has been challenged in the term of international environmental relations. The development of issues with its transboundary character is one of the challenger. Normatively and empirically, the concept of sovereignty, which refers to a state's right to, inter alia, exploit its natural resources, has now been challenged by the concept of state responsibility, which refers to the state's obligation to manage the sustainability of its resources. This can be seen in various international environmental regimes. Though, the principles in the regimes are of softer status that they do not create substantive obligations that are actionable in their own right.

Abstract

Among other industrialized countries, Japan represents a unique case for examination of the critical linkages of energy-environment-security. Since 1980 it has broadened the concept of its national security to include non-military issues, which stresses energy security at the point. The 1970s oil crisis altered the country’s approach to energy security so that dependence on imports would not adversely affect its economic growth. Since the mid 1980s, however, when global environmental issues turned into an international political agenda, Japan's quest for energy security seems to have met another challenge. This paper assumes that Japan’s institutional framework rely on the pragmatic roles of economies, politics and technology rather than ideology, providing a sound foundation for flexibility in producing policies that address the intricate problems of energy-environmental security.

Abstract

- Nowadays environmental issue has been a main topic in international affairs. Hundreds of international environmenta! agreement has been born in the last three decades, which reflects state-actors' choice through its foreign-policy that is to cooperate in the complex dynamics of environmental issue. International cooperation process itself actually is a complex political bargaining, as it tries to harmonize varied interests. Therefore, diplomacy has been an important policy instrument in order to bridge those varied interests. The question is how to define diplomacy practice in multilateral level that involves a complex political process along with multi actors, characters, and interests? This article boards from preposition that a representative diplomats, instead of defines the essence of environmental issue in the foreign-policy context as global politic dynamics, must also have the understanding about the essence of diplomacy and the court's procedures in multilateral conference in order to focus to its goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Work Life Balance on Happiness mediated by Self Esteem of Private SMK Teachers in Mampang Prapatan District. Data collection in this study used an instrument in the form of an online questionnaire. Using random sampling technique. The sample used in this study were 76 respondents with the criteria of teachers who teach at private vocational schools in Mampang Prapatan District, South Jakarta. This research uses Smart PLS 3.2.9 with Outer Model and Inner Model analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that Work Life Balance has a significant and positive effect on Self Esteem directly, Work Life Balance has a significant effect on Happiness directly, Self Esteem has a significant and positive effect on Happiness directly, and Work Life Balance has an indirect significant effect on Happiness with Self Esteem as a mediator

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika pada materi operasi hitung campuran pada siswa UPTD SDN 82 Pattene Kelas IV yang diajar menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning materi operasi hitung campuran kelas IV UPTD SDN 82 Pattene. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Subjek dalam Penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 82 Pattene sebanyak 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar rata-rata siswa dari siklus I 66,4 dan siswa yang nilainya mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal sebesar 60% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu rata-rata 84,4 dan siswa yang nilainya mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal sebesar 88%. Sedangkan untuk aktivitas siswa siklus I rata-rata sebesar 75,5 meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 84,4. Berarti selama proses pemberian tindakan selama dua siklus, siswa mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Learning approach with "Application of Inquiry Method in Improving Learning Outcomes." is a learning concept that helps teachers relate the material being taught to students' real-world situations and encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and its application in their lives as family and community members. With this concept, learning outcomes are expected to be more meaningful for students. The learning process takes place naturally in the form of student activities working and experiencing, not transferring knowledge from teacher to student. A learning strategy is far more important than a result. The purpose of this classroom action research (CAR) is to find out the extent to which the learning outcomes of news text material in class VII-A students of Indonesian language lessons improve by applying the Inquiry Method. In this classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in 2 cycles, from the results of the actions taken proved to be able to improve student learning outcomes by achieving the ideal standard. From 70% in the first cycle, it can increase in the second cycle to 100%. The results of this action research indicate that the application of learning with the Inquiry Method can improve student learning mastery in Indonesian lessons with completeness reaching 100%.

Abstract

In 2020, Greenpeace and several Indonesian NGOs formed a Transnational Advocacy Network (TAN) called The Hotter Earth Coalition to influence Bank CIMB's funding policy. In the period 2010-2020, CIMB is one of the financial institutions with the largest total investment in the coal sector in Southeast Asia, including in Indonesia. This advocacy then got its result when CIMB announced that they would stop financing coal starting in 2021. This article aims to explain the influence of Greenpeace's TAN advocacy on the CIMB's policy change. Using the concept of advocacy strategy by Keck & Sikkink and the level of influence of advocacy by Daniel McCormick, the results of this study conclude that the advocacy strategy carried out by TAN Greenpeace has succeeded in influencing CIMB's policy changes. This article finds that even though advocacy is carried out from outside the decision-making process of the targeted actor, NGOs can still exert influence mainly through information & accountability politics. Pada tahun 2020, Greenpeace dan beberapa NGOs Indonesia membentuk Transnational Advocacy Network (TAN) bernama The Hotter Earth Coalition untuk mempengaruhi kebijakan pendanaan Bank CIMB. Dalam kurun waktu 2010-2020, CIMB merupakan salah satu institusi keuangan dengan total investasi terbesar pada sektor batubara di Asia Tenggara. Pada Desember 2020, advokasi yang dilakukan oleh koalisi Greenpeace tersebut kemudian membuahkan hasil ketika CIMB mengumumkan bahwa akan menghentikan pendanaan batubara mulai tahun 2021. Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan pengaruh advokasi TAN Greenpeace terhadap perubahan kebijakan tersebut menggunakan konsep strategi advokasi oleh Keck & Sikkink dan tingkat pengaruh advokasi oleh Daniel McCormick. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi advokasi yang dilakukan TAN Greenpeace berhasil mempengaruhi perubahan kebijakan CIMB. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa meskipun sebuah advokasi dilakukan di luar proses pengambilan keputusan aktor yang ingin dipengaruhi, NGOs tetap dapat memberikan pengaruh terutama melalui penerapan strategi advokasi politik informasi dan akuntabilitas. Kata kunci: Jaringan advokasi transnasional, pengaruh NGO, Greenpeace, isu lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Instagram dan paparan influencer serta iklan terhadap perilaku konsumtif generasi Z di Indonesia, dengan kontrol diri sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara daring. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 individu dari generasi Z yang aktif menggunakan Instagram. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan software LISREL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paparan influencer dan iklan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif (koefisien regresi: 0.49), sementara penggunaan Instagram secara umum (koefisien regresi: -0.20) dan kontrol diri (koefisien regresi: 0.10) tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Model penelitian dinyatakan layak berdasarkan hasil uji goodness of fit dengan nilai Chi-Square = 171.14, df = 164, P- value = 0.33536, dan RMSEA = 0.013. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa eksposur terhadap konten promosi di Instagram memiliki dampak besar terhadap kecenderungan konsumtif generasi muda, sehingga diperlukan penguatan literasi digital dan kontrol diri dalam penggunaan media sosial.
