Abstract

The increasing development of information technology, brings developments to the pattern of life of the Indonesian people, especially the pattern of consumption and shipping of goods. Indonesian society is greatly facilitated and spoiled in getting the desired goods and services. This development was caused by the spread of online shopping providers in Indonesia, which can be accessed via smartphones and computers. Indonesia has a very high number of smartphone users, judging from the number of unique audiences at the end of the second quarter, the data obtained from MMX Multi-platform, June 2017. One of the models used in this study is the Profile Matching method, the method can overcome problems ranking by giving weights based on matching two profiles examined on the criteria of each cell phone. The criteria obtained by the user will be the profile value which is then matched with the conformity profile provided by DM. This study uses three decision makers, including economists, IT experts, and the public. To combine the three decisions used the BORDA method approach. The BORDA method is a voting method that can resolve group decision making, wherein its application each decision maker (DM) provides a rating based on the alternative choices available. Furthermore, this research will use the approach of profile matching and BORDA methods in choosing the best marketplace. The results showed that Sophie's marketplace was ranked first.

Abstract

Abstract Current information can be delivered quickly without knowing the geographical boundaries using the internet. However, the information transmitted can be intercepted by the middle of the road which is not desired, then the security of the data actually becomes a very important issue. The development of computer systems and networks and the interconnection through the Internet has increased, of course, require data security and reliable message in order to avoid the attack. To secure internet data or message network necessary cryptographic encryption methods, one method of data encryption that there is a method of data encryption standard (DES) and subsequently inserted into the Lakeside digital images (steganography) using the method of least significant bit (LSB).

Abstract

Choosing the right contraceptive method is essential to support the success of family planning programs. Many patients still choose methods without considering their medical conditions, which can lead to failure or side effects. This study designed a decision-making model based on Profile Matching to recommend contraceptive methods according to the patient’s ideal profile. The dataset was obtained from Faskes Level 1 Udayana Denpasar. Validation was conducted through discussions with midwives as experts, referring to the KLOP KB Wheel as the standard issued by the WHO. The evaluation results show a high level of agreement between the model’s recommendations and expert judgments, indicating that the model provides more objective and easily understood recommendations compared to manual approaches.

Abstract

Lontar Usada Rare is a traditional Balinese manuscript containing pediatric medical knowledge based on local wisdom, yet its narrative format limits accessibility and utilization in modern contexts, while its physical fragility threatens long-term preservation. This study aims to develop a pediatric disease classification model using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) combined with Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) weighting to support the digitalization of Balinese traditional medicine. A total of 422 data samples were collected through expert interviews and manuscript analysis, covering symptoms, disease types, herbal ingredients, and treatment procedures. The research stages included text preprocessing (cleansing, tokenizing, stopword removal, stemming), manual labeling into 35 disease classes, and model evaluation using five train–test split ratios (80:20 to 60:40) with variations of the complexity parameter C (0.5, 1, 10, 100, 1000). The best performance was achieved using C=10 with an 80:20 ratio, resulting in 87.06% accuracy, 91.55% precision, 87.06% recall, and an F1-score of 87.96%. Confusion matrix analysis showed strong classification performance for most classes, although minority classes with overlapping symptoms exhibited misclassification. Overall, the TF-IDF and linear SVM combination effectively classifies pediatric disease symptoms from Lontar Usada Rare and contributes to the preservation and digital transformation of Balinese traditional medical knowledge for potential modern healthcare applications.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills are a fundamental foundation in mathematics learning at the elementary school level, particularly in topics such as place value and plane geometry. However, initial observations at SD Pelangi Jimbaran indicate that fifth-grade students still experience difficulties in understanding numerical concepts both conceptually and contextually. Learning tends to be procedural and oriented toward rote memorization, with limited support from interactive, technology-based learning media. This community service activity aims to enhance students’ understanding and learning interest through the development of interactive learning media based on Canva. The implementation methods include observation and needs analysis, media design, production and pilot testing, as well as evaluation and dissemination. The media were developed in the form of educational visual presentations and digital activity worksheets that present concrete and contextual visualizations of place value and plane geometry. The results of the implementation show increased student engagement, improved conceptual understanding, and positive responses from partner teachers. The program also enhances teachers’ capacity in utilizing digital media and strengthens collaboration between higher education institutions and elementary schools. Thus, Canva-based learning media have proven to be an effective innovative solution for strengthening numeracy literacy in elementary schools
