Abstract

Based on BPS data, the growth of plantation crop production in NTB Province in 2011 to 2016 was recorded to have decreased by an average of 3.3 thousand tons annually. Coffee plants in particular are 0.1 thousand tons on average, the lack of public interest in planting coffee properly on land owned so that it impacts on land use that is not in accordance with its potential which will result in decreased productivity and erosion of land quality [1]. The first study of land suitability analysis for coffee plantations used a matching method in robusta coffee with a matching method producing a class (S1) of 0,46% [2] the second using a matching method on robusta coffee producing a class (S1) of 0,015% [3] These results indicate the ability of each land is different so that the results of the analysis vary. This study applies the ANP method and modified matching profile where the level of recommendations of coffee plants on the ability of land in East Lombok Regency through validation based on coffee production data from the East Lombok District Agricultural Service produces a match in rank 1 of 87,5% and 75% with non-modified profile matching.

Abstract

In the learning process, students in lectures do not only acquire theoretical material but students are also required to do practical work in companies. Practical work is intended so students can find out real problems in the field, increase knowledge and improve hard and soft skills. In its implementation, students can apply for practical work based on the choice of the location of the intended company, the system that has been running already accommodates the business process of applying for practical work. Still, there is no feature to find out the location distribution of practical work students. This study aims to utilize the API (application programming interface) on the Google Maps API and GPS (Global Positioning System) services to see the distribution of suitable work locations for INSTIKI students. The benefits of research to find suitable work locations for students at STIKI Indonesia are very important, considering that practical work is carried out in all regions in Indonesia, including remote areas. The application is built using mobile and web platforms to assist student users in submitting practical work data and coordinator users in monitoring the distribution of practical work students in several companies where practical work is located.

Abstract

The quality of an educational staff can be seen from the realization of the employee's work targets (SKP) which is supported by the results of the assessment that have been determined by colleagues and the leadership of the education staff itself. The determining factors are work overload which is calculated from (SKP realization value – SKP target value) + attitude behavior value. In this case, after the behavioral assessment at Udayana University is only accumulated in a simple mathematical manner, where colleagues and leaders fill out a satisfaction questionnaire and each question has an assessment, it will be accumulated and taken on average to be accumulated with excess workload. This of course can lead to inappropriate results because the things given are very subjective which results in perfect scores, but not objective, so that it is difficult for HR to determine employees who have the right attitude. Profile Matching is the process of comparing the actual data value of a profile to be assessed with the expected profile value, so that differences in competence (also called GAP) can be known. The smaller the resulting GAP, the greater the weight value. Implementation of Profile Matching on data of outstanding education personnel at Udayana University is carried out by making several aspects such as administration, leadership, and personality as core factors and secondary factors. The results of the implementation at Gambar 8 show that the use of the profile matching method for this case has been successfully implemented, in the implementation of this method it does not assume that the highest value is the best value, but demands that the ideal value used is the maximum value so that expectations do not exceed the ideal value, and changes in the weight of the criteria affect the resulting alternative decisions, so it should be noted that the filling percentage of core factor, secondary factor, and the presentage of aspect needs to be adjusted to the data conditions, to get objective results.

Abstract

The plantation sector plays a significant role in Indonesia's economy, particularly in coffee production. In the province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), coffee production experienced annual fluctuations from 2018 to 2021. One of the causes is the lack of public understanding in utilizing land according to its natural potential, leading to decreased productivity and land degradation. Based on discussions with plantation experts from Politeknik LPP Yogyakarta, this study identifies land characteristics divided into qualitative data, such as drainage and soil texture, and quantitative data, including temperature, rainfall, humidity, elevation, effective soil depth, slope, cation exchange capacity (CEC), base saturation, pH H2O, organic carbon (C-organic) content, and nitrogen (N). The application of the modified profile matching method demonstrates its capability in providing recommendations for coffee crop suitability in East Lombok Regency. Data matching tests between land profile values and coffee crop profile values, involving experts from Politeknik LPP Yogyakarta and the NTB Provincial Agriculture Office, resulted in liberica coffee being ranked first in eight sub-districts. However, in one sub-district, Sembalun, robusta coffee did not rank second, as arabica coffee was preferred.

Abstract

This study examined public sentiment toward electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia, where the adoption of EVs reached 28,188 registered units in 2023. The research analyzed user-generated content from the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), collecting 1,507 tweets that underwent preprocessing, including text normalization and sentiment labeling. Two machine learning models, Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM), were implemented to classify the tweets into positive and negative sentiments. Each model was evaluated under three experimental scenarios with varying training dataset sizes. The results indicated that the SVM model achieved the best performance in the third scenario, with an accuracy of 81.3%, precision of 88%, and recall of 91%. In comparison, Random Forest achieved its highest results in the same scenario, with an accuracy of 77%, precision of 91%, and recall of 81%. These findings demonstrated that SVM outperformed Random Forest in terms of overall balance between accuracy and recall, making it the more effective model for sentiment classification in this context.

Abstract

The development of e-wallet adoption in Indonesia accompanied by a diversity of features and service quality triggers user confusion in determining the most suitable application. This study develops a Decision Support System (SKS) to recommend the best e-wallet objectively. Using Profile Matching, the research compares the actual profile of each e-wallet against the ideal profile based on 5 criteria and 15 sub-criteria. Data obtained from 30 respondents. The process includes GAP mapping, weight conversion, Core Factor-Secondary Factor clustering, total value calculation per criteria, and then weighted aggregation for ranking. The final recommendation places DANA as the best alternative (3.86), followed by GoPay (3.80) and OVO (3.72). These results show that Profile Matching effectively handles multi-criteria decision-making in the consumer fintech space and provides consistent, transparent and replicable evaluation. The findings provide practical benefits for users in choosing an e-wallet as well as academic contributions in the form of structured application of decision-making methods in the context of digital payments. Further research is recommended to expand the sample, add criteria (cost, customer service, privacy), conduct a test of comparison methods, perform sensitivity tests, and integrate behavioral data to improve external validity and accuracy of recommendations.
