Abstract

The 21st-century skills are the answer to the world of education in welcoming the industrial era 4.0. Indonesian language teaching materials for the Vocational High School (SMK) level also need to adapt to this approach. Synchronizing the SMK curriculum with industry certainly brings advantages for preparing anecdotal text teaching materials, especially animation skills. This research and development using the 4D method, seek to create prototypes of teaching materials that apply 21st-century skills assisted by Google Sites. The research stages consist of initial research and information gathering, product foundation and planning, and product format development. The product testing stage is not carried out. Teachers have difficulty completing the material because learning hours are often used for vocational activities. The application of 21st-century skills in anecdotal teaching materials is as follows: (1) critical thinking is applied to activities to identify structure and language; (2) communication is carried out by presenting the idea to be uploaded through social media; (3) collaboration with group activities in writing anecdotes based on comic strips; and (4) creativity and innovation in compiling anecdotal texts based on comic strips in the order given.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation and assessment of differentiated learning on anecdotal material for high school students by reviewing the alignment of predetermined learning instruments. The design in this study is a mix method. The data collection procedure was carried out by researchers by distributing questionnaires and interviewing Indonesian language teachers in class X as respondents. Respondents filled out the prepared questionnaire using the Google Form format. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The findings of the differentiated learning assessment research on content differentiation components are well implemented. The assessment of the process differentiation component was implemented well in two aspects, namely the implementation of the way in which the material was delivered varied according to students' understanding abilities and there were variations in activities to understand the material based on the container. Three aspects of the assessment indicators are still experiencing differentiation. Differentiated learning assessment on product differentiation components is well implemented. The results of the research on the implementation of differentiated learning assessments on anecdotal material for high school students serve as a guideline for Indonesian teachers in conducting assessments in favor of learning profiles.

Abstract

Children with Special Needs with hearing impairment have hearing loss, classified as deaf and hard of hearing. Hearing loss in children with special needs is associated with long-term academic and communication difficulties, so it will hinder the learning process and potentially experience obstacles in developing students' thinking or cognitive quality. This study aims to analyze the effect of Indonesian language learning media using the SIBI Alphabet Card on increasing vocabulary acquisition in children with hearing impairment. This research is true experimental research with the randomized three-group pretest-posttest only design. A total of 27 children with hearing impairment, categories slight, moderate, profound, male and female, aged 8-22 years. Subjects were randomly divided into three study groups, namely G1 (n = 10; Slight Deaf), G2 (n = 8; Moderate Deaf), G3 (n = 9; Profound Deaf). The Indonesian-language learning media intervention using the SIBI Alphabet Card was carried out 2x/week for four weeks. Data were collected before and after the intervention using a written test instrument. The data analysis technique used the Paired Samples T-Test test with the Packet for Social Science (SPSS) Statistics Software version 21. Based on the results of the study showed that there was an increase in vocabulary acquisition in the three groups before and after the intervention (p0.001). Abstract

Indonesia and Thailand share the same cultural knowledge regarding rice food consumption and the heroic epic Panji or Inao. However, research exploring learning materials about this two cultural knowledge as BIPA learning materials for beginner Thai BIPA learners has not been intensively conducted. This research focuses on efforts to identify the need for Indonesian-Thai cultural content material for BIPA students at the beginner level. This research design uses ADDIE by adapting the first two steps, namely first, compiling questionnaires and interviews with BIPA Thai elementary students and teachers to obtain projections of the needs and preferences of non-text BIPA textbooks containing Inao's story. Second, conduct a needs and preferences analysis of the results of questionnaires and interviews of beginner-level BIPA Thai learners. The respondents of this study were six BIPA students from the State University of Malang, Walalailak University of Thailand, and the Islamic University of Malang. The results showed that the culture of rice consumption, the story of Inao or Panji, and Indonesian tourist attractions that became world heritage designated by UNESCO are interesting and need to be the content of BIPA learning materials, with the medium of electronic books, BIPA pages, and social media platforms (IG, FB, Twitter, and Youtube). The implication of this research is the preparation of BIPA learning designs for Thai BIPA students with cultural content of rice consumption, the story of Panji or Inao, and Indonesian tourist attractions that are UNESCO world heritage

Abstract

The availability of interactive-based student worksheets that also take into account differences in learning styles is necessary to address the challenges of the digital era in teaching short story writing. This research aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Gofin (Interactive Google Form) for short story text learning with the application of a differentiated approach that is suitable for interests, abilities, and learning styles. This developmental research adapts the ADDIE model and carries out three steps, namely analysis, design, and development. The implementation and evaluation steps are conducted in subsequent research. The research results indicate that this LKPD is highly suitable and engaging with a material validity rate of 87%, media validity of 83%, and student response of 96%. This LKPD is designed to accommodate differences in students' learning styles (kinesthetic, auditory, visual) so that learning objectives can be maximally achieved.
