Abstract

 ABSTRAKTulisan ini membahas tentang Representasi Aktvitas Perempuan Minangkabau “Manumbuak Padi” dalam Karya lukis Evelyna Dianita. Evelyna merupakan pelukis perempuan yang menghadirkan tema-tema aktivitas dan peranan perempuan Minangkabau seperti dalam aktivitas keseharian, perempuan dalam ritual, perempuan dalam pasar, perempuan dalam pedesaan serta perempuan dalam kaba/cerita. Hal tersebut menjadi identitas karyanya sebagai pelukis perempuan yang lahir dan tumbuh besar di Minangkabau. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas karya Evelyna yang berjudul “Manumbuak Padi”  dari sudut pandang semiotik. Manumbuak padi merupakan bentuk kegiatan kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh perempuan Minangkabau masa lampau di halaman rumah gadang, kegiatan menumbuk padi ini dilakukan masyarakat Minangkabau merupakan kegiatan gotong royong  memisahkan padi dari kulitnya. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatatif yang diperoleh melalui observasi, pengamatan, wawancara, dokumentasi serta analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis bahwa terlihat kegelisahan Evelyna terhadap kebiasaan aktivitas menumbuk padi dengan cara tradisional di masyarakat Minangkabau sudah mulai memudar karena digantikan oleh teknologi canggih seperti heler. Perasaan tersebut terlihat pada pemaknaan simbol warna langit yang dihadirkan Evelyna dalam karyanya. Kerjasama dalam aktivitas sehari-hari yang dilakukan perempuan Minangkabau mulai terkikis dengan hadirnya teknologi. Tulisan mengenai lukisan Evelyna Dianita ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan, sehingga terbuka peluang bagi peneliti lain untuk meneliti dari sudut pandang serta keilmuan yang berbeda. Aktivitas Perempuan, Representasi, Karya Lukis dan Evelyna DianitaABSTRACTThis paper discusses the Representation of the Minangkabau Women's Activity " Manumbuak Padi" in Evelyna Dianita's painting. This became the identity of his work as a female painter who was born and grew up in Minangkabau. This article aims to discuss Evelyna's work entitled manumbuak padi  from a semiotic perspective.Manumbuak Padi is a form of collaborative activities carried out by Minangakabau women in the gadang home yard, this traditional activity for the Minangkabau community aims to separate rice from its skin. This study uses a qualitative method that passes observations, interviews, documentation and data analysis. Based on the results of the analysis that Evelyna's anxiety about the habit of pounding rice in the traditional way in the Minangkabau community had begun to fade, which was replaced by advanced technology such as helers. This feeling can be seen in the meaning of the sky color symbol that is presented by Evelyna in her work. The writing about Evelyna Dianita's paintings is expected to be a reference, so that there are opportunities for other researchers to examine from different perspectives and sciences.

Abstract

Batik sebagai salah satu seni tradisional menyimpan konsep artistik yang tidak dibuat semata-mata untuk keindahan, namun batik lebih berfungsi sebagai pilihan busana, keperluan upacara adat dan lain sebagainya. Kerajinan batik tidak hanya dimiliki oleh masyarakat Jawa saja, tetapi bisa dipelajari dan dibuat oleh siapa saja yang ingin mempelajari dan membuatnya seperti pada masyarakat di Minangkabau dengan batik tanah liatnya karena batik merupakan salah satu bentuk kreativitas masyarakat Indonesia yang adiluhung dalam penciptaan kain. Karya seni batik bukan sekedar kain yang diberikan beragam motif, pewarnaan dan teknik yang khas, tetapi karya batik mampu menjadikan ekonomi masyarakat menjadi meningkat. Keterampilan membatik yang sudah diberikan kepada ibu- ibu  kelompok wanita nelayan yang diupayakan penduduknya mampu berketerampilan untuk berkarya dan hasilnya dapat memperbaiki income rumah tangganya. Perkembangan seni batik sudah meluas kepada kalangan masyarakat luar Jawa, batik sudah merupakan helaian kain yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai busana yang menarik dan nyaman dipakai, sehingga batik menjadi trend masyarakat di segala penjuru negeri ini.Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu penyampaian materi tentang membatik dengan jalan presentasi dan diskusi, menampilkan desain-desain motif batik dan pengenalan bahan dan alat-alat untuk membatik. Metode kedua melakukan praktik membuat desain motif untuk batik dan melakukan proses kerja membatik. Kendala yang dihadapi yaitu belum ada pengetahuan dan skill yang dimiliki ibu-ibu wanita nelayan cara membuat desain dan cara mengerjakan proses membatik.Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan; Kelompok Wanita Nelayan; Membatik

Abstract

The training of tie-dye handicraft was the activity of community service toward the community of “Durian Sabatang” studio in Kamang Mudik village, Kamang Magek Sub-district, Agam District, Sumatera Barat. This training aims at empowering village people with their potentials so they can be trained with tie-dye skill. This training is also one of efforts to boost village people’s economy, whether the results of this training can be sold to the neighboring villages (tourism “Bantoroyo, Tirtasari”) or to the market. Methodologically, this community service was categorized as qualitative design so its data that were collected through observation were then described in the form of written/oral words. Hence it was very useful to know, comprehend, and study the data collected during the activities of this community service in order to obtain accurate results of this community service scientifically. These results were then described and arranged into scientific report according to the format of LPPMPP ISI Padangpanjang. This community service used the techniques of observation, interview, and documentation and the methods of lecture, demonstration, and practice.Result achieved in this community service was the high enthusiasm of the teenagers in “Durian Sabatang” studio highly trained during it. It can be seen from these teenagers’ work result namely creating table cloth, bag, shawl, blouse, shirt, handkerchief, and pillowslip by applying the technique of tie-dye into the white fabric of primissima, cotton, weaving, and calico. For the coloring, five kinds of Batik dye with the composition of blue (AS-D+BBB), pink (AS-BS+S.R), yellow (AS-G + M.B), orange (AS + M.GG), and red (AS + M.B). This training was fully conducted with good patience, seriousness, precision, and cooperation so the participants were successful in making the products. This good result has made the participants want to buy additional Batik materials and colors for retraining.

Abstract

This research was conducted to increase student creativity in utilizing wood waste at SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency. The main problem in this research is that students tend to be more passive and less creative, so they are constrained in creating ideas to work on using wood waste. This study uses qualitative methods with active participation observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in a descriptive-interpretative manner. Improving student creativity in utilizing sawdust waste is carried out in several important stages, including; preparing materials and equipment, making designs/sketches, learning processes and being creative in making sawdust products decorative, functional and aesthetic. The results of the study show that measuring students' abilities can be seen based on their ability to design works, persistence in working on works and students' creativity in making works. Efforts made to increase student creativity are carried out by using varied learning media and displaying visual forms in the form of videos of the process of making wood products and photos of examples of wood waste products, training students' abilities in creating new ideas in choosing product forms.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative method which aims to determine the form of student creativity in hand-drawn batik before and after the research, the supporting and inhibiting factors of students' creativity in writing batik, and the form of student creativity in learning batik. The researcher acts as an instrument that goes directly to the field with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the creativity of students in making written batik before the research did not achieve maximum results in terms of shapes, motifs, colors and attachments and students only used shapes, motifs and colors determined by the teacher based on the tasks according to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). due to limited learning time during the covid-19 pandemic. The results of learning batik after research, students' creativity has increased. Students have been able to develop the form of batik work, give birth to their own creative motifs, use various colors and the attachments look neat and unbroken. Efforts are made to increase student creativity, namely; utilizing facilities and infrastructure in the form of theoretical rooms, corridors, chairs and tables as an alternative to the limited practice space and batik equipment and preparing various learning media in the form of pictures, videos of the batik process and batik products that have been produced.

Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang kreativitas siswa dalam pemanfaatan limbah plastik pada mata pelajaran Seni Rupa di SDN 02 Pasar Baru, Kecamatan Bayang, Pesisir Selatan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kesadaran siswa terhadap lingkungan dan kurangnya kreativitas dalam melihat potensi limbah plastik sebagai bahan berkarya seni. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam menciptakan karya seni fungsional dari limbah plastik. Penerapan sintak pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka Fase C, yaitu Mengalami (Experiencing), Menciptakan (Making Creating), Merefleksikan (Reflecting), Berpikir dan Bekerja Artistik (Thinking and Working Artistically), serta Berdampak (Impacting), terbukti meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sekaligus kesadaran lingkungan. Hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori “baik” hingga “sangat baik”.
