Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various industries, including the retail sector. However, Atika Store still relies on manual methods in managing its cashier and inventory, leading to inaccuracy, inefficiency, and poor control over stock and sales reports. To address these issues, this study employs an applied research method aimed at producing practical solutions that can be directly implemented. A web-based application is developed using the Waterfall system development method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system integrates sales, inventory management, and cashier functions into a single platform. Key features include automatic receipt printing, sales transaction recording, real-time stock updates, and role-based user access. It is expected that this system will help MSME owners improve operational productivity, minimize manual errors, and support more effective decision-making.

Abstract

The rental process of badminton courts in Sengonbugel, Mayong, Jepara is still predominantly conducted manually, such as by visiting the location directly or through communication media like telephone and WhatsApp. This manual process often leads to various problems, including limited access to court schedule information, the risk of double booking due to the absence of an integrated recording system, and inefficiencies in administrative procedures for both users and court managers. This study aims to design and develop a web-based badminton court rental information system that facilitates online reservation, provides real-time court availability information, and assists managers in managing rental data, schedules, and transactions in a more structured manner. The research method consists of system requirements analysis, system design, and system implementation. The system is developed using the Laravel framework with MySQL as the database management system. The features provided include court booking, schedule and rental duration selection, payment proof upload, and an admin dashboard for managing courts, bookings, and schedules. The results show that the web-based badminton court rental information system is able to improve the efficiency of the rental process, reduce recording errors and the occurrence of double booking, and enhance the quality of services for both users and court managers.

Abstract

The thrifting industry or the sale of used products that are suitable for use is growing in Indonesia, especially among the younger generation. However, most thrifting business actors still use manual marketing through social media, so market reach is limited, transaction recording is less systematic, and product data management is inefficient. This research aims to design and build a web-based thrift product marketing system on Muhhasecond as a solution to improve the effectiveness of promotions and sales processes. The developed system provides a structured product catalog, ordering features, and automatic management of sales data and reports for admins. The research method uses the Waterfall model, including needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The expected result is a web-based application that is able to expand marketing reach, increase operational efficiency, and support the competitiveness of Muhhasecond's thrifting business in the face of digital developments.
