Abstract

The Eklesia Mokdale Church located in East Rote Village suffered significant damage during the Seroja tropical cyclone. This church is the result of self-help which was also built independently by the people in the village. Even though quite a lot of men who live their work as builders, it turns out that there are still many who do not understand the concepts and steps for making buildings that are structurally strong, against earthquakes and strong winds. With this training, it is hoped that the community will understand and be able to build structurally strong buildings against earthquakes and strong winds.

Abstract

The construction of road infrastructure in Dusun I, Baumata Timur Village, Taebenu Sub-district, Kupang Regency, is an urgent need to improve accessibility and the welfare of the local community. This activity is carried out by students and lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, Widya Mandira Catholic University of Kupang through the Community Service Program (KKN). The technical planning process for the road construction includes field observations to evaluate the physical condition of the road, discussions with village authorities to identify needs and gain support, and the preparation of a construction proposal that includes a budget plan (RAB) and technical specifications. Observations revealed critical road conditions with significant damage hindering community mobility. The documents produced include survey documentation, planning drawings, and a budget plan with a total cost of THREE BILLION FOUR HUNDRED TEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND RUPIAH, encompassing general works, drainage, earthworks and geosynthetics, granular pavement, asphalt pavement, and structures. Abstract

A project is a detailed series of activities within a limited timeframe aimed at achieving specific objectives. Resources such as manpower, equipment, materials, money, and time are crucial for project success. The research objective is to determine the impact of minimum production differences between equipment and labor on project completion time, costs, and profits. The completion time for the binder course work item, based on labor and equipment, is 0.83 days, with a minimum production used of 10,000 liters. Conversely, based on equipment's minimum production, the completion time is 0.47 days, with a minimum production used of 17,500 liters. This shows a difference in completion time of 0.35 days with a reduction of 0.43%. According to the Bill of Quantities (RAB) data, the project cost is lower compared to the project cost based on labor, equipment, and labor and equipment combined. The initial profit according to the Bill of Quantities data is Rp 337,328,068.10, and the profit based on minimum labor production is Rp 145,723,835.86, resulting in a profit decrease of -56.80%.
