Abstract

The ongoing advancement of technology in the era of digitalization has brought about significant transformations in all domains, including media. Multiple mass media corporations are vying to transition from traditional to digital systems in order to maintain their ability to compete and survive in the face of the increasing convergence of media. Media businesses are required to ensure that there are repercussions for delivering news in both hard news and soft news formats promptly, accurately, and engagingly. The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe the existence and professionalism of Indonesian sports journalists in the digitalization and media convergence era. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach. The six journalists were requested to express their experiences and perspectives by means of an open-ended questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The gathered replies were subsequently examined utilizing the methodologies and instruments of Narrative analysis. In conclusion, sports journalists must be proficient in multimedia, able to swiftly adapt to new situations, have high moral standards, be able to interpret sports data, and be able to maintain their professionalism in the face of the challenges posed by the digital age and the convergence of media. Competitors will always find a way to beat out those lacking in soft skills and IT knowledge. Additionally, it is undeniable that sports writers cannot survive without engaging with audiences and sports fans via various internet platforms, including social media.

Abstract

Physical fitness is defined as the body's ability to perform daily physical activities without feeling excessively tired. This study aimed to determine the contribution of physical activity to physical fitness in children with intellectual disabilities in Semarang. This study used a correlational research type and a purposive sampling technique. The sample criteria in this study included children with special needs classified as intellectual disabilities with an IQ of 50-70 in grades 4, 5, and 6 of elementary school-aged 10-12 years with a total of 50 students. This research instrument used a physical activity questionnaire Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C) and physical fitness using the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI) for intellectual disabilities. Data analysis used SPSS version 26 with normality, linearity, and Pearson correlation tests. The study’s results found that a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 and a Pearson correlation value of 0.243 had a positive relationship and a fairly strong relationship level and contributed 25.9% of physical activity to physical fitness. The higher the physical activity, the more positive impact it will have on the physical fitness of children with intellectual disabilities in Semarang. Physical activities such as aerobic exercise programs that are designed to be fun and interactive can increase participation in physical activity and physical fitness in children with intellectual disabilities. Further research suggestions can add analysis to other variables that affect physical fitness such as diet, sleep quality, and stress levels to provide a deeper understanding.

This study aims to Analyze the effect of aquatic plyometric training (aquatic plyometric knee tuck jump and aquatic plyometric double leg bound). Analyze the impact of high and low body reaction time on the ability of the sickle kick. Analyze the interaction between aquatic plyometric training and body reaction time on the ability of the sickle kick. This study uses an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. The data analysis technique used is Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), with a significance level of 0.005. The population in this study amounted to 28 silat athletes, with a purposive sample technique and specific criteria to be used as samples. The results of the study showed (1). There is a difference in the APT knee tuck jump method and high body reaction speed with a sig value of 0.01 <0.05. (2). There is a difference in the APT knee tuck jump method and low body reaction speed with a sig value of 0.02 <0.05. (3). There is a difference between the APT double leg bound method and high body reaction speed with a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05. (4). There is a difference between the APT double leg bound method and high body reaction speed with a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05. (5). There is an interaction between the aquatic plyometric training method and body reaction speed with a sig value of 0.035 < 0.05. The conclusion is that aquatic plyometric double-leg bound training is more effective for athletes with high body reaction speed to increase the speed of the sickle kick. In contrast, aquatic plyometric double-leg bound training is more suitable for low body reaction speed. Coaches are advised to adjust the training model to the athlete's abilities and provide additional training to increase the speed of the sickle kick.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the football achievement coaching program case study at Terang Bangsa Academy Semarang using the CIPP (Contexs, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research location was at Terang Bangsa Academy, with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation methods. This research was conducted from April 24, 2024 to April 27, 2024 at the Terang Bangsa Academy training ground. The main data sources include athletes, coaches, and academy administrators. The data analysis technique used is data triangulation. The results showed that in terms of contexs, the organizational structure is running well. However, in terms of input, there are still shortcomings due to funding issues which are the main obstacle, where the academy depends on the Terang Bangsa foundation and donations from the church. In terms of process, the training program is running well with the implementation of an adapted Dutch football curriculum. Overall, in terms of product, the achievements have been good, as seen from the existing documentation. Suggestions on this research need to look for additional sources of funding apart from church and foundation donations, such as partnering with local governments or companies, to ensure the sustainability and development of the facility.

Abstract

The problem found is that the point in the shot is not optimal. The study aims to analyze the muscle strength factor / impulse force and speed of movement to produce a carreau shot. The study is a quantitative study with a descriptive approach and survey method, data obtained from the analysis of the kinovea application software version 0.9.4 involving 9 people sample. The results of this study showed a distance of 6 and 7 meters (average ± std. dev), i.e.: 1) muscle strength or pulse 4.73 N ± 0.36 N and 4.58 N ± 0.35 N. 2) movement speed in backswing phase 0.85 m/s ± 0.42 m/s and 0.59 m/s ± 0.27 m/s, swing phase 3.26 m/s ± 0.67 m/s and 3.17 m/s ± 0.78 m/s, and release phase 8.89 m/s ± 0.75 m/s and 8.37 m/s ± 0.58 m/s. The conclusion is that shooting a carreau at a distance of 6 and 7 meters in this study obtained an average score of 17./14 in the middle category with a percentage of 31.5%/25.9%. This study was used as a reference to the trainer making a training program for each athlete to get a high-precision shot.
