Abstract

This study focuses on selecting online learning media at SD Negeri 048/IX Sarang Burung. Various available media options often make it difficult for educators to choose the one that best suits the needs and conditions of the student environment. This study uses the Hybrid AHP-TOPSIS approach to design a decision support system. The AHP method is used to establish a hierarchy of relevant criteria and their relative weights. Meanwhile, the TOPSIS method is used to rank alternative learning media based on their proximity to the ideal positive and negative solutions. This system is built using web-based software that allows users to input data and view analysis results directly. The system testing results show that the Hybrid AHP-TOPSIS method can produce selected learning media alternatives that meet user needs, specifically Zoom with a score of 0.8667. Thus, the system testing results indicate that the Hybrid AHP-TOPSIS method can produce selected alternatives according to user needs, and the implementation of this system can improve education quality because the proper selection of learning media can enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes. Additionally, this system is expected to be a solution to the problems in determining appropriate learning media for educators.

Abstract

This study aims to build a software application for Decision Support System (DSS) Determination of Priority Location for Drainage Development in the City of Jambi by applying the Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. In determining the priority location of drainage development by the Sumatra Regional Office VI based on submission by the community and then resolved. During this time, the selection process is sometimes subjective, so sometimes the drainage that is built is not a priority. In the application that is built, in the selection process, determining the priority location is based on certain criteria so that the decision can be more objective. There are several criteria, namely: land, infrastructure and social conditions. While the drainage location in Jambi City is an alternative. The method used is the AHP method, which is a method that makes a comparison of each criteria and alternative as well as the method that tests the consistency of the value of the criteria weight. The SPK application in this study was built with PHP Codeigniter with Wampserver and PHP MyAdmin database. From the results of the study, it was obtained the value of the location with the highest ranking that would be recommended for priority drainage construction, namely: 0.532 located at the TalangBakung location in Jambi City. With this application, it can help the decision making process by the leadership of Sumatra Regional Office VI with more objective and impartial.

Abstract

In the current era of Industrial technology development, especially information technology, requires fast and accurate information in its implementation. Determination of supplier selection with a decision support system is one of the implementation of industrial technology developments. This study aims to build a Decision Support System (DSS) application for Determining Supplier Selection at the Aston Jambi Hotel & Conference Center by applying the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is a weighted addition method, which is the weighted sum of the performance rating on each alternative on all criteria. The criteria used in the SPK for determining supplier selection are based on 6 (six) aspects of assessment, namely price, quality, payment, delivery accuracy, accuracy of quantity and distance. Supplier data, item data, alternative data, and criteria as input data. The results of this study are to produce a ranking sequence of suppliers that have been selected and the output of the application can help make decisions in selecting suppliers according to predetermined criteria. The application in this study was implemented using the Borland Delphi 7.0 Programming Language and the database using MySql.

Abstract

Decision support system is part of a computer-based information systems used to support decision making in an organization or company. Decision support systems can be generated by using several kinds of methods, one of which is a method of Weighted Product (WP). Weigthted Product is completion method using multiplication to connect the attribute value, where the value should be raised to advance with the relevant attribute weights. Input data used this system is input student data, alternative data input, data input criteria, and the input weighted values ​​for each criterion. Data output is in the form of alternative data report, data report criteria, report student data and reports majors. By using the method of Weighted Product (WP) is a web-based, it is expected the process of placement of students more effectively and efficiently so that students quickly get information about majors and majors also results in accordance with each student's ability. By using decision support system and database, the data of students or student majors values ​​can be stored in it, so if there is an error in inputting values ​​or student data, then the erroneous data can be corrected without having to re-input the value or student data.

Abstract

STMIK Nurdin Hamzah Jambi routinely rewards lecturers with the best tridarma performance of tertiary institutions every year. Through this award every lecturer is expected to be motivated to become better and always improve the quality of performance. In carrying out this assessment, STMIK Nurdin Hamzah Jambi formed a special team. The problem faced by this team is the difficulty in determining the decision of lecturers who are chosen to be lecturers with the best tridarma performance with criteria that have subjective or uncertain nature quickly. To overcome these problems, a decision support system was designed for the assessment of lecturers with the best tridarma performance of tertiary institutions using the Weight Product Method (WP). This study aims to build a software application that can help give consideration to decision makers in the selection of lecturers with the best tridarma performance of tertiary institutions at STMIK Nurdin Hamzah Jambi using the Weight Product (WP) method. The input needs are in the form of lecturer data, assessment criteria data, sub criteria, tridarma lecturer performance data of lecturers, and criteria weight data. The criteria used cover 3 fields, namely: Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service, which consists of Student Assessment, Peer Lecturer Assessment, Leadership/Management Assessment, Academic Qualification, Research, Journal, Training, Seminar, Community Service Society, and Academic Position. The output produced in the form of a report on the results of the selection assessment, reports in the form of graphics, and reports on the results of the performance evaluation of the three-tier lecturers of tertiary institutions. From the results of the evaluation evaluation of the performance of the tridarma of the lecturer of the Informatics Engineering Study Program in the even semester of the Academic Year 2018/2019, the highest score was obtained on behalf of Lucy Simorangkir, S.Kom, M.Kom. as a lecturer with the best Tridarma tertiary performance.

Abstract

Tourist visits to Indonesia, especially the province of Jambi can improve the economy of the community in the tourist area Jambi Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia which is one of the tourist destinations for foreign and international tourists to come to Jambi Province. There are 174 leading tourist attractions in Jambi province according to the questionnaire data taken. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of datamining in classifying the number of tourist visits to Prov. Jambi uses k-means. The source of research data comes from questionnaire data filled out by the people of Jambi Province. The research data used is the number of tourist visitors last year. The data is grouped into 3 clusters namely C2 = high tourist visits, C1 = moderate tourist visits and C0 = low tourist visits. The final centroid value used at C0 = 5, C1 = 35 and C2 = 17. In order to obtain the results of grouping C0 = 116 attractions, C1 = 18 attractions and C2 = 40 attractions. The results of this analysis can be used as a reference for the Jambi Tourism office to find out the leading tourism objects in Jambi Province according to the Jambi Province Community.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important contribution to the growth and development of the company. For this reason, companies need to assess the performance of contract employees to be appointed as permanent employees so that their resources are of higher quality. At PT. Propan Raya ICC Jambi Branch selects permanent employees in a gradual period according to the length of the training period and other assessments, but sometimes it is not optimal in its implementation because it looks unprofessional and subjective. This study aims to build a decision support system application for permanent employee selection based on the criteria of creativity, work attitude (performance), and behavior. This application is built with support for PHP, CSS, and the PHPMyAdmin programming language. Input data is in the form of employee identity data, employee criteria and sub-criteria values ​​to be selected, through a calculation process using the profile matching method with the final employee ranking results. Information in the form of reports on the selection results of the appointment of contract employees to become permanent employees, employees selected to extend the contract period, and reports of contract employees who have quit. The implementation of the decision support application program for contract employee selection results showed that the recommended contract employee to be appointed as a permanent employee was Kamaludin with a score of 4,568 who had the highest score among other employees. From the results of this study it was concluded that this application was made to help PT. Propan Raya ICC Jambi Branch in implementing a decision support system with the profile matching method in processing employee data, especially facilitating the selection process for permanent employees.

Abstract

Giving appreciation for the high achievements and dedication achieved by teachers in carrying out their professional duties needs to be given, one of which is the selection of exemplary teachers. The selection of exemplary teachers should be able to motivate teachers to improve performance, discipline, dedication, and loyalty for the future interests of the nation and state. The current implementation of the selection of exemplary teachers is only based on personal observations from the assessors, namely based on certain criteria. To reduce errors in the assessment, it can be assisted with a decision support system that can assist the assessor in determining the selection of exemplary teachers. The methods used in this research are SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Inputs to this system are user data, question input data, criteria data, and alternative data. The criteria used in the study were Principal Assessment, Teacher Assessment, and Student Assessment. The output of this system is a report on the results of the overall calculation of the results of the SMART and AHP methods, and a report on the results of the comparison of the SMART and AHP methods. The final result of the study shows exemplary teachers based on criteria and alternatives calculated by the two AHP and SMART methods and the results of the selection are shown by the highest number of calculations from each prospective exemplary teacher. The comparison results from the sensitivity analysis of the AHP method are better recommended.

Abstract

Desa Sumber Mulya is a village located in the North Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The population continues to grow every year in Desa Sumber Mulya along with the demands of the community both inside the village and outside the village for population administration services which of course demand to switch from a manual data collection system and population administration service to a more advanced administrative service system efficient and effective administrative data collection of its citizens. The purpose of this research is to make the population administration service system better and easier in terms of data processing. The input requirements include population data, social assistance data, and certificate data. The process needs are population data processing, social assistance data processing, and certificate data processing. Meanwhile, the output needs are in the form of population data reports and reports of certificates that have been processed previously. This web-based application is built to assist the Desa Sumber Mulya government in serving the activities of recording births, deaths, marriage certificates, and statements of introduction for family cards, identity cards, temporary resident certificates, residents moving in and out and collecting data on social assistance. So that the expected results in this study are to facilitate the population administration service system so that it is effective and efficient.

Abstract

The determination of the study program is important for prospective students to enter state universities and private universities this is because it is a decision to hone, explore the abilities of each prospective student and reduce students who fail or drop out. This research is expected so that students know the appropriate study program based on their abilities. The data inputted is personal data of prospective students, average values, majors and test scores with Alternative study programs, namely study programs at the Faculty of Computer Science and The output of the data processed is in the form of results about selected study programs. The method used by researchers is the perceptron method, Perceptron is one of the simple ANN training methods used the first training algorithm procedure. It consists of a single neuron with synaptic weights that is regulated using the hard limit activation function. After an analysis of the ANN simulation of the perceptron algorithm with Matlab in determining the majors, the results of the perceptron method were obtained, namely the perceptron method was able to determine the target output and actual output as much as54.28%.
