Abstract

Tourism is one of the development activities with high growth prospects. The concern for poverty in touristdestinations becomes the attention of scholars, tourist components, and tourists. Attempts which were made toeradicate poverty, among others are : to engage and make the community as tourism subjects who participateddirectly in alleviating poverty. One district in Bali that support and develop tourism is Karangasem regency. The slowpace of the community in participating in tourism, caused by mental attitude of the society who don’t have idea howto get out of the poverty cycle, so the motivation to work productively still low. There is a positive influence on thedevelopment of tourism on the economic changes of society, especially livelihood. Tourism provides an opportunitychange people’s livelihood that increasingly widespread. The development of the first advanced society has a rolein influencing other people to change mental motivation to work better. Utilization of skills as a fisherman is offsetby enhancement of opportunities for diving tourists, which can be utilized as a sideline to supplement their incomeopportunities.

Abstract

Keberadaan pramuwisata lokal yang seluruhnya berjenis kelamin perempuan menjadi keunikan tersendiri bagi Alas Kedaton sebagai suatu daya tarik wisata. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi pramuwisata lokal perempuan di daya tarik wisata Alas Kedaton serta untuk mengetahui motivasi mereka bekerja sebagai pramuwisata lokal perempuan di daya tarik wisata Alas Kedaton. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sedangkan sumber data yakni data primer dan sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Informan ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Terdapat 45 responden yang dipilih sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa eksistensi pramuwisata lokal perempuan di daya tarik wisata Alas Kedaton dari awal terbentuknya sampai saat ini dapat dikatakan masih eksis. Meskipun jumlah pramuwisata lokal perempuan di daya tarik wisata Alas Kedaton berkurang dibandingkan ketika awal terbentuknya. Sedangkan motivasi mereka bekerja sebagai pramuwisata lokal di daya tarik wisata Alas Kedaton adalah untuk memenuhi beberapa kebutuhan seperti physiological needs, safety and security needs, affiliation or acceptance needs, esteem needs, dan self actualization. Dan rata-rata responden menjawab motivasi mereka bekerja sebagai pramuwisata lokal perempuan di daya tarik wisata Alas Kedaton adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan afiliasi atau affiliation or acceptance needs.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the marketing activities of pilgrim package tour that have been performed by PT. Dongan Sahuta Tour and Travel, develop strategies and also marketing programs that can be implemented by the company. Data collection by observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis, analysis of the Likert scale and SWOT analysis approach. The results obtained there are four teen indicators of strengths, weaknesses of tree indicators, four indicators of opportunities and four indicators threats. Marketing strategies that can be implemented by the firm such as 1)create and develop a quality product, 2)provide rebates to customers who have used the services of PT. Dongan Sahuta Tour and Travel several times.The advice given are more active in the promotion by giving rebates, conduct marketing activities as E-commers, expand cooperation with business trips or individuals.

Abstract

Sanur Village Festival is an event established by the Yayasan Pembangunan Sanur which combines large-scale activities consisting of food festivals, a series of contests, competitions, cultural arts attractions, music, and a variety of friendly activities environment. Samples of this study were domestic tourists who have visited the Sanur Village Festival. The sampling technique used purposive sampling in 160 respondents. Data collection techniques are performed with observations, questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The sampling technique uses the purposive sampling technique and utilizes a likert scale model questionnaire that is calibrated using the validity test and the reliability test is calculated using the Cronbach alpha coefficient using the SPSS 25.0. The data analysis techniques in this study used partial least square analysis techniques (PLS), and the equation model will analyzed is the outer model, inner model and hypotheses testing. Based on the software calculation smartPLS version 3.0 obtained the result that there is a significant influence between the variable brand image to the motivation and interest of domestic tourists visit to Sanur Village Festival. This is evidenced by the results of the analysis of the influence of the brand image to the motivation obtained value of 41.9%, while the interest earned a value of 40.5%. Furthermore, the influence of motivation to interest can be seen from the results of the analysis of Partial Least Square obtained T-Statistic of 1.766 > T-table 1.654, this means the motivation variable positively affect the interest of domestic tourists visiting Sanur Village Festival.

Abstract

This research observed the Toya Devasya, Kintamani. The aim of this research are 1) to know the motivation of domestic tourist’s that visit the Toya Devasya Kintamani, Bangli. 2) to know their perception in regards of its service quality. This research used sample determination method which tend to purposive with taking its sample by using accidental sampling method and determining the number of samples using quota sampling giving 100 questioners to domestic tourist. Data collection technique that used is by interview, observing, documentation, literature study and questioner with analysis technique by qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The result showed the motivation which push domestic tourist’s to visit Toya Devasya are to make the mind calm, relax and free yourself in a beautiful and interesting place, get a new atmosphere. At the same time the motivation that pull those tourist’s to visit Toya Devasya is the beauty of natural mountain kicking, a nice atmosphere to be enjoyed, the source of hot water coming from Mount Batur. The perception of domestic tourist’s to its service quality over all is good, however they still feel that the lack of assurance service in Toya Devasya.

Abstract

Citilink airlines is one of LCC ( Low Cost Carrier ) flight in Indonesia, under management of Garuda Indonesia and established in 2001. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of prices and brand images partial and simultaneous with domestic tourits decision to purchase the ticket and the location of this research at Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali. The sample technique used is purposive sampling and techniques of the collected sample were used with accidental sampling. The number of respondents used in this research are 150 of respondents. Analysis data used was validity test, reliability, assumption classical test, multiple regression analysis, analysis of koefisien determination, and Likert scale The results of research is that the price of ( x1 ) has positive effects and significant of decision of ( y ) as Citilink ticket, with a significance value af 0,000 which is less than ? = 0.05 and tcount of 4,805 is larger than ttable 1,655. Brand images variables ( x2 ) has some positive effects and significant of the decision of the purchase of ( y ) Citilink ticket, with a significance value at 0,000 which is less than ? = 0.05 and tcount of 6,750 is larger than ttable 1,655. Variable of prices ( x1 ) and brand images ( x2 ) has some positive effects and significant of the decision of the purchase of ( y ) Citilink ticket, with a significance value 0,000 which is less than ? = 0.05 and fcount of 115,605 larger than ftable 3,06.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the forms of provision and constraints experienced by stakeholders to provide accessibility for tourists with disabilities in the Denpasar City, South Denpasar District. The informant in this research use purposive sampling method. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, obtained by conducting interview, observation, documentation, and checklist to stakeholder which is divided into three, government, society, and tourism industry. The result of this research is the provision of accessibility for tourists with disabilities by tourism stakeholders in Denpasar City South Denpasar District not yet fully available. The provision of accessibility for tourists with disabilities by tourism stakeholders in Denpasar City, South Denpasar are form of physical accessibility of ram and sliding door while the form of non-physical accessibility are the availability of special services and regulations on the activities of people with disabilities. While the constraints faced by tourism stakeholders in Denpasar City, South Denpasar District in providing accessibility for tourists with disabilities are internal constraints, limited budget and external constraints, regulations that have not specifically regulated the needs of disabled tourists. Suggestion of this research is that among the tourism stakeholder could inisiate, change mindset, and work together in provision accessibility for tourist with disability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics, motivation and satisfaction of tourists who visit the tourist attraction city tour Denpasar. Research methods include: observation, questionnaires to 100 tourists, literature study and documentation and descriptive qualitative as the analysis techniques. The results showed that the characteristics of tourists dominated 81% aged 15-30 years, 60% male, 79% are not married, university level education 71%, 77% students, 56% of the island of Java, resources through friends / family 36 %, 62% ground transportation, hotel accommodations as a means of 65%, frequency of visit to Bali 2-3 times 75%, 45% choose to visit, type of visit 65%, 65% of people who had been invited, organizers of 75%. Furthermore, intrinsic motivation tourists dominated by indicators want to know the Balinese art with scale score of 4.21 (strong), while extrinsic motivation is dominated indicators admission fee affordable fascination with score of 4.20 (strong). In general, tourists are satisfied with the tourist attraction, and the indicator that dominates is the physical aspect of the form of security with score of 4.33 (very satisfied) and non-physical aspects of the hospitality and courtesy clerk with score of 4.97 (very satisfied). Through this research is expected the municipality, manager of a tourist attraction can improve the quality and attractiveness of city tour service in accordance with the characteristics, motivation and satisfaction of tourists so the frequency and the number of tourist arrivals increased evenly.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze factors affecting the satisfaction of tourists in the use of marine transportation from Bali toward Gili Trawangan. The benefits of this research useful to the company in improving the services for tourists who will use the services of a crosswalk leading to Gili Trawangan.The respondents in this research totalled 190 respondents, the selection of the sample using the method of purposive sampling, the data in this study were analyzed using the analysis factors that help by statistikal program SPSS version 17.0 for windows. The results of this study are: 1) the satisfaction of tourists in the use of sea transport in general are at a level of satisfaction. 2) there are three factors that affect the satisfaction of tourists formed i.e. factors quality of maids, the cost factor & ease factors and product quality. Quality of service factor is the most dominant factor influencing the satisfaction of travellers with variable reliability as the dominant variables, and the variable availability schedule is a variable that must be improved.

Abstract

Trekking mountain as one of foreign tourism activities in Mount Batur became more popular now days. The beauty of the sunrise from the top of the mountain become an attraction for foreign tourists to conduct trekking mountain in the Natural Tourism Park of Mount Batur Hill Payang. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the motivation and perception of foreign tourists to do trekking mountain in the Natural Tourism Park of Mount Batur Hill Payang. This study using purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to 150 foreign tourists as respondents. Some techniques were used such as: observation, interview, questionnaire, literature, and documentation. And for data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study showed that motivation of push factor affects tourists do trekking in Mount Batur are to see the sights at the top of the mountain in order to feel relaxed, to get a different atmosphere, and doing something new and different. While the motivation of pull factor that attracts tourists for trekking mountain Batur are the stunning natural environment, the presence of wildlife, as well as the atmosphere and climate of Mount Batur. Perception rating indicates that the services provided by trekking guide has been very good, but the rating was less about the cleanliness of the toilets and track trekking in the Natural Tourism Park of Mount Batur Hill Payang.
