This study aims to identify the pronunciation issues with English fricatives that undergraduate students encounter as a result of the intricate link between the English letter and sound. The purpose of this study is to gather comprehensive data regarding students' pronunciation difficulties in terms of the degree of difficulty associated with each English fricative sound, as well as the types of words in which they occur (monosyllabic words, disyllabic words, and multisyllabic words). In order to explain the English sounds that were contributing to the students' pronunciation issues, a descriptive qualitative method was adopted in this study. The information was gathered by recording students speaking 48 words with English fricatives. The results showed that sound /θ/ accounts for 93,9% of the challenges, followed by sound /v/ at 81,8% and sound /ð/ at 60,6%. The main cause of the students' difficulties is the irregularity of the letter-sound relationship and this can be prevented by altering the teaching strategy and making use of listening practice.

The decreasing number of student admissions, especially when the Covid-19 pandemic hit and the increasing number of universities in Jakarta, the competition is getting tighter. For this reason, implementing the Blue Ocean Strategy by opening a Digital Business major is the right way to get out of the competition and find new, unexplored opportunities and markets. The aim of this research is to describe the process of implementing BOS at the opening of the Digital Business major. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using interviews, observation and documentation studies as data collection techniques. The research results show that the formulation of the blue ocean strategy is going well, especially the decision to open a Digital Business major through the stages of market boundary reconstruction, ERRC scheme, 3 non-consumer levels and strategic series. This is proven by the number of students who choose this major amounting to approximately 300 people with a class size of 10. Relevant curriculum development, industrial collaboration, use of technology in learning, lecturer training and effective promotion are suggestions that should be considered for the success of this implementation in long-term

This training program was designed to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in creating visual-based instructional media using the Canva application. Held for teachers in Majenang District, Cilacap Regency, the training combined theoretical lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice to ensure comprehensive understanding and skill acquisition. At the outset, a pre-test was conducted to assess the participants’ initial knowledge and digital design skills. The results showed an average score of 58.3, indicating limited experience with design tools and low literacy in visual media creation. Following the training, a significant improvement was observed. A total of 90% of the participants successfully produced at least two educational media products, such as posters, infographics, and activity cards. The post-test results revealed an average score of 86.7, demonstrating a substantial increase in understanding and practical ability. Additionally, the satisfaction survey showed that 92% of participants were very satisfied with the content, delivery method, and technical assistance provided during the sessions. This outcome highlights the effectiveness of the training in empowering teachers to utilize Canva for innovative and engaging learning materials. The participants are now better equipped to apply these skills in their classrooms, contributing to a more visually appealing and interactive learning environment.

Pelatihan coding berbasis AI dengan menggunakan pendekatan deep learning bagi Komunitas Guru Belajar Majenang dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menekankan penguasaan teknologi dan literasi digital. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan pemahaman dasar konsep coding, kecerdasan buatan, dan deep learning, serta keterampilan praktis dalam mengimplementasikannya melalui aplikasi Scratch sebagai media pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan mudah digunakan. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Komunitas Guru Belajar Majenang yang terdiri dari guru sekolah dasar dengan latar belakang kemampuan teknologi yang beragam. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui pelatihan intensif selama satu hari yang mencakup penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, dan diskusi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penugasan proyek mini sebagai bentuk penerapan konsep yang telah dipelajari. Untuk mendukung keberlanjutan pembelajaran, dibentuk grup WhatsApp sebagai sarana pendampingan dan konsultasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar coding berbasis AI dan menghasilkan proyek sederhana menggunakan Scratch, meskipun dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur dan waktu. Kegiatan ini bermakna penting karena tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru, tetapi juga mendorong kesiapan mereka dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AI secara inovatif dan berkelanjutan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah.
