Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Gerakan Literasi Sekolah Terhadap Calistung Peserta Didik Kelas IV SD Inpres Antang 1 Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas IV SD Inpres Antang 1 yang berjumlah 31 orang. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes kemampuan calistung. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata aktivitas guru 3,7, nilai rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik 3,5, nilai rata-rata keterlaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah 4,0, nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca peserta didik 3,1, nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis peserta didik 3,1, dan nilai rata-rata kemampuan menghitung peserta didik 3,1. Hasil tes kemampuan calistung nilai rata-rata pretest 56.61 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 84,42. Analisis inferensial, pada hasil uji normalitas 0,167 > 0,05 (berdistribusi normal), hasil uji homogenitas adalah 0,111 > 0,05 (homogenitas terpenuhi) dan hasil uji T adalah 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa gerakan literasi sekolah berpengaruh terhadap calistung peserta didik kelas IV B SD Inpres Antang 1 Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Despite the optimism of many scholars, activists, and educators for a fully multicultural world, the aims of people of colour and multiculturalists are still hindered by social problems such as racism, inequality, injustice, and poverty. This research aims to explore multicultural education in a nation that is becoming more aware, specifically focusing on students studying sociology education. The study method adopts a qualitative phenomenological approach that focuses on comprehending the significance of different experiences and human interactions. It is crucial to cultivate an understanding of students' sociology education in order to promote awareness of intercultural marriages in both academic and non-academic settings. Resistance to implementing intercultural education is present both within the organisation and from external sources. Multiculturalism aids students in understanding and valuing the various aspects of culture, language, ethnicity, religion, and race that contribute to the Indonesian nation, which is essential for the formation of national identity. Multicultural education theorists and policymakers in universities should challenge assumptions about ethnic and cultural dominance and promote the inclusion of the Indonesian language in multicultural education.

Abstract

The Kajang people are known for their lives based on traditional values, traditional beliefs, and distinctive local wisdom. They are here to preserve traditions amidst the blows of globalization. With this local wisdom, researchers are interested in analyzing the social construction of the Kajang traditional community to maintain their local wisdom. This research used a qualitative approach through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and data analysis using grounded theory analysis techniques. The research results show that the Kajang indigenous community faced challenges in maintaining their local wisdom amidst social changes and external influences. However, with its social construction, it maintained local wisdom through externalization, objectivation, and internalization processes. With this social construction approach, the Kajang traditional community can show resilience and initiative to preserve local wisdom and strengthen social ties between community members. This research will not only provide new insights into the local wisdom of the Kajang people in efforts to preserve culture, community development, and policy development in Indonesia.
