Abstract

This research was conducted in class X MA Subulussalam Sumberjo. District Torgamba, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan. Object in this research is : the Application of the model system the achievement of the concept as an attempt to overcome the misconceptions of Indonesian Language, the Subject of the research is MA Subulussalam Sumberjo. The average value of student learning outcomes before the applied method of the System the achievement of concept is at 36,83% with the criteria is very low. Means the average value of the Indonesian Language students should be improved in the next cycle by applying the method of System achievement concept. The average value of learning outcomes of Indonesian students after applied System method is the achievement of the concept in the first cycle of 64,58 % with the criteria of being and in classical 63%. means the value obtained by the students have not yet reached the kertuntasan classical amounting to > 85%. The average value of learning outcomes of Indonesian students after applied System method is the achievement of the concept in the second cycle of 72,42% with very high criteria and in classical 88%. mean value learning outcomes the student has attained mastery in the classical. The increase in the average value of learning outcomes of Indonesian students from before action to the cycle of 27,75 %, and from cycle I to cycle II by 7.83 %. In cycle I, the average results of observation of the learning activities of students by 2,81 (70,24%) with good category, and in cycle II the average results of observation of the learning activities of students by 3,57 (89,29%) with very good category. In cycle I, the average observation of teacher activity is 3,83 with good category, and in cycle II the average results of the observation of teacher activity by 3.75 with a very good category

Abstract

The problem of this research is: “how does the main character in the novel “Keberangkan” works N.H. Dini?”. The purpose of this study is: “to describe the main character in the novel “Keberangkatan” works N.H.Dini”. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method where this method is commonly used in these kinds of research in social sciences, humanities, and sciences legal. Sources of data in this research is the text in the novel “keberangkatan” works N.H. Dini. Data collection was performed with the technique of the literature and the technique of document analysis. This technique is done by reading the data with the aim of identifying data in accordance with the theory that is used While the data analysis in this paper utilizes ways of interpretation in the form of descriptive analysis with how to (a) identify the elements that exist in the novel, (b) identification characterizations in the novel, and (c) provide an analysis of the characterizations in the novel. The results showed that the novel “ keberangkan” work N.H. Dini this indicates the presence of the antagonist and the protagonist in the novel.

Abstract

The problem in this study is: (1) How does the learning process of creative writing of grade X students SCHOOL through theimplementation of a synethic model learning with serial writing techniques?; (2) is learning the model of synetics with chainwriting techniques can improve the creative writing skills of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Na. IX-X year lesson 2019/2020? Theobjectives in this study are: (1) to describe the learning process of creative writing of grade X students in high school throughthe application of the study of synethic models with serial writing techniques; (2) to describe whether learning of a synethicmodel with a serial writing technique can improve the creative writing skills of high school class class X students 1 Na. IX-Xlesson year 2019/2020. The method used in research is the method of research action Class (PTK). Where this researchaims to obtain an overview of the influence of the model of the learning of synethics with serial writing techniques to theability to write short stories of SMA Negeri 1 Na. IX-X year lesson 2019/2020. The subject in this study was a grade X highschool student numbering 40 people. While the object in this study is the result of writing short stories of students. Theinstrument used in data collection is a test essay, where the student is told to write a short story according to the criteria thathad been described by the previous researcher. The results showed that "learning the model of synethics with chain writingtechniques can improve the creative writing skills of class X SMA Negeri 1 Na. IX-X Learning year 2019/2020 areacceptable.

Abstract

The results showed that there is an increase in students' learning activities through the application of a paired storytellinglearning model in grade XI of high school in the 2020/2021 Learning Year, this is seen based on observations. In cycle I thepercentage of students who do activities is 28.57% when compared to the criteria of success of actions, then it turns out thatthe average student who performs the activity is on the criteria of less active. In cycle II increased to 82.86%, whencompared to the criteria of success of actions, then the average students who do activities are on good criteria. Similarly, theapplication of a paired storytelling learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade XI high school students in the2020/2021 Learning Year, this is seen based on the test results. At the time of pre-test the percentage of student learningoutcomes was 34.28% (12 people) when compared to the criteria for successful action, then it turned out that the student'slearning outcomes in the pre-cycle were on the criteria less once. In cycle I increased to 62.86% (22 people), whencompared to the criteria of success of actions, then the student learning outcomes in cycle I are on sufficient criteria, thenincreased again in cycle II, student learning outcomes increased to 88.57% which when compared to the criteria of successof actions, then it turns out that student learning outcomes in cycle II are on good criteria.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the ability to understand student news is still low. To overcome this, a learning model isneeded that can improve students' ability to understand the subject, the learning model in question is the talking sticklearning model. The purpose of this study is to find out whether talking stick-type cooperative learning models can improvethe ability to understand the subject matter. This research is a PTK (Class Action Research) study by giving treatment to thegroup conducted using the talking stick learning model. The population of this study was all 40 high school students, whilethe sample of this study was as many as 40 students. The instruments used to capture the study data are observations andtests. Based on the results of the research obtained, it was concluded that the application of talking stick learning models canimprove students' ability to understand the subject matter, this is seen based on test results. In the pre-cycle, students whocompleted by 45%, when compared to the criteria of the level of completion of learning are at the criteria less once. Then incycle I increases to 70%, when compared to the completion criteria then it is on the criteria enough. In cycle II completionincreased back to 90%, when compared to the criteria of learning completion level is at very good criteria.

Abstract

The problem in this study is whether there is an influence of problem-based learning methods on the ability to write poetry grade X students SMA Aek Nabara year of learning 2019/2020?. The purpose in this study was to describe the influence of problem-based learning methods on the ability to write poetry grade X students SMA Aek Nabara Preparatory Year 2019/2020 learning. The method used in the research is the quasi experiment method to find data on whether there is a difference between the two groups. This method is used to observe the influence of problem-based learning (PBM) methods on student poetry writing skills. Therefore, the experiment group was tested with PBM methods while the control group was in test with conventional methods. The population in this study was a grade X student of Aek Nabara High School preparatory year 2019/2020 learning amounting to 110 people with a sample of 72 students, then the samples were divided into two groups, namely the group of experiments and control groups that numbered 36 people each. The instrument used in data collection is a test essay, where students are told to write poetry according to the criteria that had been described by previous researchers. The results showed that there was an influence of problem-based learning (PBM) methods on the ability to write poetry grade X students SMA Aek Nabara year lesson 2019/2020. From the comparative calculation of a significant standard value = 0.05 with DK 36-2, obtained a value of T 0.05 (34) between 2.021-2,000, the value of Thitung > This (16.80 > 2,021 – 20,000). This means an alternative hypothesis is acceptable. Thus a problem-based learning method can improve the writing ability of poetry students grade X SMA Prep Aek Nabara year lesson 2019/2020.

Abstract

Film Tarung Sarung merepresentasikan Budaya yang menarik. Salah satunya terkait dengan percakapan antartokoh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kajian semiotiok pragmatik deiksis serta budaya pada film Tarung Sarung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dokumentasi, simak, dan catat. Data penelitian ini adalah data bahasa ragam lisan yang bersumber dari Tarung Sarung. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan tehnik analisis Taksonomik (Taksonomic Analysis) pada tahap analisis taksonomi, peneliti berupaya memahami domain-domain tertentu sesuai fokus masalah atau sasaran penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat beberapa bentuk deiksis dalam Tarung Sarung yakni Deiksis orang meliputi (1) deiksis orang pertama : Saya, aku, gue dan kita, (2) Deiksis orang kedua : kamu, kalian, dan saudara-saudaraku, (3) Deiksis orang ketiga : mereka dan dia. Deiksis tempat meliputi di Mesji, di sini, dan di Makassar. Deiksis waktu meliputi malam-malam, selamat pagi, dan kesiangan. Deiksis Sosial meliputi Puang Deni Ruso. Sedangkan makna semiotik budaya yang terdapat dalam film ini yakni makna dari segi bahasanya, warisan, sistem pengetahuan, dan keseniannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui Untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran Computer Assistes Language Learning (CALL) dengan bantuan menggunakan media video dalam speaking ability. (2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan Speaking Ability (kemampuan berbicara) dengan menerapkan Computer Assistes Language Learning (CALL) dengan bantuan video. Penelitian ini dilakukan setelah melakukan observasi lebih awal dan menemukan bahwa kurangnya kemampuan mahasiswa dalam Speaking ability (kemampuan berbicara) bahasa inggris pada bidang English for job hunting (pencarian pekerjaan).Penelitian ini dilakukan di dalam kelas pada saat mata kuliah English for job hunting (pencarian pekerjaan) berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penlitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dimana melakukan dua siklus. Masing- masing siklus terdiri dari empat langkah. Adapun keempat langkah tersebut adalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VII kelas O FKIP Program Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris yang berjumlah 14 orang. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan proses pembelajaran penerapan Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) dengan bantuan menggunakan video sangat bagus untuk proses pembelajaran dimana mahasiswa menjadi aktif dan termotivasi dan bahkan menyenangkan dalam mempraktekkan kemampuan bahasa inggris mereka pada bidang English for job hunting (pencarian pekerjaan). Dan juga nilai dari Speaking ability (kemampuan berbicara) mahasiswa pada bidang English for job hunting ini mengalami peningkatan. Dimana yang nilai awal sebelum ada tindakan hanya 68%, kemudian dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 75. 35%, setelah tindakan pada siklus I dilakukan maka lanjut pada tindakan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80.71%.Dengan ketuntasan nilai tersebut bahwa tanggapan mahasiswa pada penerapan metode CALL dengan bantuan menggunakan video ini dikatakan positif.

Abstract

Pelatihan metodologi penelitian dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Labuhan Batu dalam menyusun penelitian yang sistematis dan berkualitas. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kendala mahasiswa dalam merumuskan masalah penelitian, memilih pendekatan metodologi yang sesuai, dan menyusun desain penelitian yang relevan. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan intensif, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Metode pelatihan mencakup pendekatan teori dan praktik yang berorientasi pada solusi permasalahan mitra, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam penelitian kuantitatif, kualitatif, dan campuran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk menyusun desain penelitian yang terstruktur, valid, dan sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti pelatihan mampu merancang penelitian yang mencerminkan integrasi antara teori dan aplikasi praktis. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendukung program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU), khususnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi riset yang baik. Dengan pendekatan yang komprehensif dan berbasis kebutuhan, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak berkelanjutan bagi pengembangan kemampuan penelitian mahasiswa. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini menunjukkan pentingnya kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan tinggi dan masyarakat dalam menghasilkan penelitian yang memberikan solusi konkret terhadap berbagai permasalahan.
