Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kinerja karyawan divisi gudang pada PT. Surya Setia Sejahtera. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif verifikatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 32 karyawan divisi gudang di PT. Surya Setia Sejahtera. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala Likert dan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan Kepercayaan diri Secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan divisi gudang pada PT. Surya Setia Sejahtera. Kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan divisi gudang pada PT. Surya Setia Sejahtera. Abstract

This study was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving 14 students divided into two groups: the experimental group, which was taught using interactive PowerPoint media, and the control group, which was taught using the lecture method. Data were collected through a multiple-choice test consisting of 10 questions administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment. Data analysis was carried out using normality, homogeneity, and independent samples t-test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental group increased from 48.6 to 67.1, while the control group remained at 31.4. The t-test revealed a significant difference (p < 0.05), indicating that the use of interactive PowerPoint media is more effective than the lecture method in improving elementary school students’ science learning outcomes.

Abstract

Recently, the development of information and communication technology, especially computer networks, is now so rapid and has become one of the indicators of human progress. Along with these developments, users' needs for network access quality are increasing, both LAN (Local Area Network) based. The quality in question includes high data transmission speeds, stable connections, and a system that is able to support various activities without interruptions or problems that can reduce work productivity. With the existence of LAN networks, the use of information and communication technology can be an effective connecting medium. This research was carried out with the aim of helping to analyze and simulate the Local Area Network (LAN) network which is equipped with integration using the Cisco Packet Tracer application at the Gelebak Dalam Auxiliary Health Center. The presence of a LAN network will allow various processes and transactions to be carried out more efficiently, reduce potential problems, and improve the quality of services provided by institutions or organizations. This project is for that. This study will assess the condition of the LAN network at the Gelebak Dalam Auxiliary Health Center using Cisco Packet Tracer. It is anticipated that the LAN network in the health center can be optimized to be more efficient.

Abstract

Islamic education is a form of manifestation of the ideals of Muslims to preserve Islamic values for the next generation, so that the cultural-religious values aspired to can function and develop in society, so that Islamic educators try to form Muslim personalities that are in accordance with Islamic education goals. Islamic education is also based on the highest goal, which is to want students to be a blessing to all creatures. With this grace, it is expected to be able to spread the values of compassion by always advising one another on truth and patience. This research method uses library research and is descriptive, analytic and comparative. Source of data used in this research comes from primary and secondary data. Islamic education as in general education, trying to shape the human person must go through a long process, with results that cannot be known immediately. Many Islamic education experts provide an understanding of the purpose of education. There are those who formulate that the goal is something that is expected to be achieved after a business or activity is completed. While others say that the goal may point to futurity that is located at a certain distance that cannot be achieved except by trying to go through a certain process.

Abstract

Maktabah, as an institution providing Islamic information, plays an important role in supporting the development of Qur'an studies and tafsir. This article aims to examine the contribution of the Maktabah of the Indonesian Ulema Council of North Sumatra in facilitating scientific activities related to the Qur'an and interpretation through the provision of collection materials, services, and institutional assistance. This research applies a qualitative approach with a literature study method equipped with a descriptive analysis of the function of maktabah as an Islamic reference center. Data were obtained from institutional documents, collection catalogs, and supporting literature relevant to the development of Qur'an studies. The findings of the study revealed that maktabah functions as a forum for scientific documentation, a channel for the dissemination of interpretive knowledge, and a tool to increase Qur'an literacy for academics and the wider community. In addition, the maktabah also supports discussions, seminars, and research activities based on classical and contemporary texts, thereby strengthening the Islamic scientific tradition at the regional level. The existence of maktabah also contributes to building a literacy culture based on authoritative sources and encourages integration between textual and contextual studies in understanding the Qur'an. These findings highlight the urgency of improving management, digitizing services, strengthening human resources, and expanding the collection of maktabah to meet the demands of Qur'an study and interpretation in a sustainable manner in the modern era.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of pediculosis capitis, analyze its association with risk factors, and apply multiple logistic regression modeling to identify determinant factors and estimate the probability of pediculosis capitis among boarding school students. Methods: An observational, analytic, cross-sectional study was conducted from January to October 2024 at the Boarding School in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. A total of 340 junior and senior high school students were recruited using consecutive sampling. Pediculosis capitis was diagnosed through direct examination of the scalp and hair. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses, followed by multivariate multiple logistic regression. Results: The prevalence of pediculosis capitis was 31.5%. Bivariate analysis showed significant associations between infestation and gender, hair length, hair shape, sharing personal accessories, and co-sleeping habits (p < 0.05). Multivariate analysis identified female gender (adjusted odds ratio [AOR] = 17.03; 95% CI: 7.07–40.97) and non-straight hair shape (AOR = 2.13; 95% CI: 1.20–3.69) as determinants. The highest estimated probability of infestation was observed among female students with non-straight hair (70%). Conclusion: Pediculosis capitis affected nearly one-third of boarding school students in Riau Province. Female gender and non-straight hair shape were the main determinants, highlighting the need for targeted prevention strategies in high-risk groups.
